Golden Aura

Once Emiya and Octavia had left the headmistress's office, the students that were waiting outside were dumbfounded when they saw the hoodless stranger step out of the room. After sending Brad to the infirmary, they waited outside in hopes of hearing how the headmistress would beat up the stranger who had the guts to walk so close to one of their goddesses.

But seeing him now…. They felt that he and Octavia looked good together.

Octavia was just as surprised as they were. In the headmistress's office she had been standing behind him the entire time and it was only now that she was able to see his face. Her first reaction was to slap herself for not asking him to remove his hood during the time they were travelling together. Her second reaction was to get out of there quick and introduce Emiya to her team.

====================================================

"Why didn't you tell me you were a huntsman!" Octavia pouted.

"You didn't give me the chance, you were too busy praising yourself and your team to let me get a word in." Emiya shrugged.

"*Sigh* How foolish I must have looked." She sighed.

Emiya nodded in agreement. "You did look pretty dumb."

"YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO SAY IT TO MY FACE!" She yelled causing the surrounding people to look over.

"What can I say, I'm an honest guy." Emiya said casually.

'This guy!'

'No, calm down Octavia, don't let him get to you.'

*Inhales* *Exhales*

Now that she had calmed down, she continued interrogating her huntsman companion.

"Why didn't you take your hood down when we travelling?" She asked curiously.

"I was worried that you'd fall in love with me the minute you saw my appearance." He smirked.

"Pah! I'm not that kind of girl."

"That's exactly what a girl like that would say." Emiya retorted.

Rolling her eyes she took him around a corner and towards a wooden door.

*Knock* *Knock*

"Hey guys it's me." She said before the door suddenly swung open and revealed a girl with indigo coloured hair wearing a long light blue coat.

At first she was looking at Octavia, but the moment she saw Emiya she froze and gave him a once-over. After a minute passed she finally spoke.

"Are you finally bringing a boy home?"

"You really think I'd willingly bring a boy I'm interested in to meet you vultures?" Octavia mumbled sarcastically.

Smiling at the comment, she let the duo enter the room.

Walking into the room, Emiya noticed that it was more rustic compared to the rooms back at Beacon. Besides the girl he had previously met, there were two other girls in the room.

Looking up from their scrolls, the girls looked at Emiya then at Octavia for an explanation.

Nudging Emiya she indicated for him to explain.

'Why do I have to do it?'

Ignoring the prodding, Emiya introduced himself to the girls.

"Hi, I'm Emiya." Turning back to Octavia he smiled. "Good enough?"

"Of course not! You barely told them anything!" She complained.

"I introduced myself didn't I?" Emiya asked pretending to be confused.

"You didn't even say your last name!!"

====================================================

After a round of teasing Octavia, Emiya introduced himself properly and explained that he would be staying in their room for a while. They were surprisingly chill with arrangement.

"I guess we better introduce ourselves now." The girl with the indigo coloured hair said. "Nebula Violette, leader of team NDGO."

Then the blonde haired girl in green introduced herself. "Dew Gayl, I hope you'll enjoy your stay at Shade."

Then the black haired girl in the corset dress stood up. "Gwen Darcy, a pleasure to meet you." She bowed.

"Nice to meet you all." Emiya smiled. "Thank you for allowing me to stay in your room."

"No problem. We've got a spare futon that you can borrow." Nebula said pulling out a purple futon.

"Cool."

====================================================

Walking around the academy with the four goddesses of Shade naturally drew the attention of the wandering students. At first many wanted to show Emiya his place, but after hearing about what happened between him and Mr Berret they immediately got rid of any violent thoughts towards the guy.

The girls were the exact opposite of the boys. The moment they saw the hoodless Emiya, they all wanted to go over and fawn over him. And when they heard that he was able to single handily handle Mr Berret, the fires in their hearts lit up. The only issue was that he was walking with the four goddesses of Shade. And even if they didn't want to admit it, they knew deep down that their looks and strength were inferior to team NDGO's.

Seeing all the stares caused Emiya to smile.

"Enjoying yourself?" Nebula smirked.

"Immensely." He nodded before winking at a couple of passing girls.

"To think that you're a huntsman." Octavia muttered.

"Amazing aren't I." Emiya said ignoring her tone.

Following behind them, Gwen and Dew smiled at each other.

"So what's Beacon like?" Gwen asked curiously.

"Beacon?… it's pretty restricted compared to this place. If I could redo my enrolment I'd definitely choose to come here and spend time with you lovely ladies." Emiya said causing Gwen to turn a bright shade of red.

"Could you be serious for a second." Octavia said annoyed.

'Sheesh, tsundere alert.'

Walking around the academy they came to the outside arena.

*BOOM!*

In the middle of the arena was a guy with blonde hair with black tips, he had sharp teeth and whiskers.

If it was just that then Emiya would have just ignored him, but the golden aura surrounding his body caught his attention.

'Interesting.'

"Who's that?" Emiya asked pointing to the blonde haired boy.

Looking in the direction he was pointing, the girls all made weird faces.

"What's wrong?"

"*Sigh* That's Clyde. He's a third year here." Dew answered.

"He's… a special student." Nebula interrupted.

"Special?"

They all looked reluctant to answer, so Emiya just walk onto the arena while the girls were shouting at him to stop.

The aura around Clyde interested him a lot. It was like staring directly at the sun.

"Yo!" Walking onto the arena, Emiya greeted the blonde haired dude.

Turning around, Clyde looked Emiya up and down before getting into a combat stance.

'I guess he likes talking through his fists.'

Instead of getting into a combat stance like Clyde, Emiya stuck his hand out and did the "Come at me" motion with his hand.

"Should we stop this!?" Gwen asked looking at the arena.

Looking at the two fighters Nebula shook her head.

"I don't know about Emiya, but if we try to stop Clyde we might get killed."

"Geez, what is that guy thinking! Even the instructors stay away from Clyde yet here he is running to fight him." Octavia grumbled.

As the girls were talking, Clyde's golden aura burst out as his eyes became a frightful red.

Pushing off the ground he charged at Emiya. Pulling out a mechanical knife he swiped at his face.

Smiling at the action, Emiya grabbed his wrist and sent him flying into the distance with a kick. Rolling on the floor, Clyde felt some pain in his chest and noticed that his aura had taken a lot of damage. Standing back up, his expression was the same as he charged at Emiya again but this time his speed seemed to have increased.

Standing still again, Emiya dodged his knife strike and sent him flying with a punch to the gut.

Once again, Clyde got back up and charged at Emiya, but this time his speed and strength had increased.

'Just as I thought, his semblance is similar to Yang's.'

In the distance the girls stood dumbstruck as they watched Emiya throw Clyde around like a rag doll.

"Y-You guys are seeing this too right?" Dew asked sounding confused.

"I… think so…" Gwen said with uncertainty.

Elbowing Clyde in the face, Emiya disarmed him and swept him off his feet.

'How disappointing.'

Feeling that he expected too much from Clyde, he looked down at him in disappointment.

"Don't look at me like that!" Clyde growled as his aura started to fluctuate while his body started twitching before releasing bright gold light that caused everyone in the surroundings to shield their eyes.

"AARRGGHHHHH!!!!"

Letting out a roar the golden light intensified and shot into the sky.

Emiya backed away from him but felt his blood start to boil.

When the light died out, Clyde was standing where Emiya had previously been. His hair was spiked, and the black tips became highlights that ran into his roots.

Seeing his transformation, Emiya smiled. Activating his Imperial Sharingan, he observed every change on Clyde's body and what he saw shocked him. His aura seemed to have tripled and the pressure he was giving off resembled that of a wild beast.

"I-is Emiya going to be okay?" Gwen asked worriedly.

No one answered and just stared at the two figures on the arena.

"I gotta say, I'm impressed, I didn't think your semblance allowed you to reach this level of strength." Emiya said observing Clyde. "But it's a shame that you've seemed to have lost yourself."

Seeing the pure aggression in his eyes, Emiya shook his head in disappointment. From what he could see, Clyde's semblance was related to his rage, the angrier he got, the faster and stronger he got. He was basically a small green-less hulk. The only downside was that it looked like when his anger reached a level that he couldn't control, he lost himself to it.

Appearing in front of Emiya, Clyde clawed at his head. Taking a step back Emiya easily avoided the attack and countered with a backhand slap. Slapping the golden aura off of him, Emiya punched him in the face and sent him flying outside of the arena.

The golden aura from before caused the instructors and students from the academy to gather around the arena. Even the headmistress came out to see what all the commotion was.

"Is that Clyde?"

"What's that psycho up to now?"

"Isn't that the guy who was walking with team NDGO?"

"Is it just me or does Clyde look different?"

The headmistress and the instructors all furrowed their brows when they felt the wild aura emanating off Clyde. Seeing the 4 girls of team NDGO watching the fight, the headmistress went over to get the full story.

Wiping the blood off of his nose, Clyde's cheek was puffed up and swollen. Spitting out some blood and a loose tooth, Clyde climbed back onto the arena and rushed Emiya. Dodging his attack, Emiya felt himself slowly starting to lose interest in him. If it was Emiya of the past he'd probably play around a bit more. But after fighting Salem and the blue eyed Faunus, this level of combat can no longer satisfy him.

Brushing off another one of Clyde's attacks, he used his knowledge of pressure points to lock his body in place before knocking him out.
