10 Chapter 9

" That was awesome. Yang was like ' I. Hope. Your. Hungry. ' Blake was like... Weiss was like ... Ruby just ran up a wall and sliced his head off. THAT WAS SO COOL!" Nora said while imitating RWBY.

" Hey give yourself some credit it was awesome how smashed the deathstalker with its own stinger. " Yang said.

" Indeed. It was all Jeanne idea. " Pyrrha said with a smile.

" That was a nice strategy. " Weiss completed.

" Really it was? " Jeanne asked with a bit of nervousness.

" Yes it was. " Rin said.

While they were talking Ruby was anxious. She was fidgiting as she couldn't see Nova.Yang noticed and asked,

" Ruby what's wrong? "

" I was wondering where Nova is. I didn't see him in the forest. "

" Easy sis. He probably at the auditorium waiting. "

" But what if he's still in the forest? " Pyrrha decided to intervene at that moment.

" Who are you talking about? "

" Remember the guy I told you about and pointed in the hall. " Jeanne said.

" The one with the mask and has silver hair. "

" Yep him. " Jeanne said.

" Your worrying over nothing. He will be fine. "

" Wait how do you know? " Yang asked.

" Simple. He is the strongest out of all of the first years. "

" He's stronger than you! That shouldn't be possible. " Weiss said.

" He is actually. When he was in the hall and Jeanne pointed at him I knew instinctively if I faced him I would lose. "

" So he should be fine right? " Jeanne asked.Ruby also waited for the answer with a nervous look on her face.

" Yes. " Pyrrha said.

*boom*

Suddenly they saw the sky darken and the ground shake. They looked towards the cliff.

" We need to go. There could people there. " Ruby said. Weiss grabbed her.

" Are you crazy? Whatever's there is stronger than us. If we went we could die. "

" But.."

" I think it's vest if you listen to Ms Schnee, Ms Rose. Besides if you wish to know what's going on come with me to the auditorium to watch it on the big screen. " Ozpin said as he arrived with his cup.

Ruby thought for a moment before stopping and headed towards the auditorium along with the others. When they got there they saw Nova standing in front of dozens of Grimm.

" Nova. " Ruby said.

" SHIT that's a lot of Grimm." Yang said.

" Should we go and help him? " Jeanne asked.

" Not necessary. Mr Silvers has this handled. " Ozpin said. " Just watched. "

All of them looked at the screen as Nova decided to make his move.

Nova walked towards the army looking at them before taunting them with his aura. The Grimm fell for the taunt and rushed at him.Nova just gave a cold smirk under his mask.

He then put his right leg back and bent his knees getting into a stance.

' First form: black tortoise. '

Nova then punched. His fist pushed air at the Grimm similar to a cannon. The air tore through the Grimm killing a few while some lost their limbs.

Nova didn't stop to think about it and used the second stance: Phoenix kick, sending a shock wave that released most of them of their weapons.

Nova rushed forward grabbing a weapon for each hand and started rushed them. The Grimm saw it coming and retaliated. As they came closer the Grimm attacked first but Nova dodged their attacks. He then countered by swinging the swords in his hands killing the Grimm.

Each time a Grimm got close Nova killed it with his swords. Mist of them aimed for his arms legs and head but he either blocked or dodged them before retaliating.

He then threw the swords like javalins. They flew through the air I making the Grimm in front of him like a kabob with six Grimm on each stick.

The Grimm didn't stop and charged at him from all directions.

' Third stance: White tiger dance. '

As Nova got into the stance he also added aura to his legs and hands more so than usual. This was is partial armament haki before he can turn his arms black.

As the Grimm closed in aiming for his vitals Nova responded with rapid punches and kicks. He aimed punches at different points on the Grimm shattering it's bones before smashing it's head.

He repeated the process of moving towards Grimm and destroying their skulls. He stopped using it and switched to renewal taekwondo.

For this martial art he aimed for different parts of the body with kicks and punches throwing the Grimm off balance before killing them from cracking their skulls open.

With the last of the grunts finished Nova looked at the leader. It was about 2 feet taller than the rest with a darker shade for its skin. Nova knew it was studying him.

' It seems this one is an alpha. It has more intelligence. Well doesn't matter. '

Nova started walking towards him while the Minotar walked towards Nova. The Minotar suddenly rushed at Nova but Nova saw it coming. Nova was much faster than the Minotar so to him it was moving in slow motion.

The alpha came in with a downward strike but Nova dodged it.

' Black tortoise. '

Nova punched the Grimm in the chest braking through his armour. The punch blew the alpha back while his rib cage. In the process it lost its sword which Nova grabbed. As the alpha got up from the attack Nova sweeped it's legs flipping him sideways and cut off his head after he did a full 180.

' Well would you look at that. Their sheer numbers gave me more than enough exp. Time to head to the auditorium. '

Nova started walking towards the cliff after picking up the black king piece.

As he was getting close he saw team RWBY and JNPR standing in front of him.

" That was so cool!!! " Nora yelled." How did you do that??!!!" Nova just starred at her not saying anything. He then felt someone slam into him. He saw Ruby hugging him.

' Sigh. How did I get in her friends list so easily. Well whatever nothing I can do about it now. '

Nova then just patted her head. She just hugged tighter.

" So how was your initiation? "

" Oh it was a blast but not as epic as yours. " Yang said.

" Really. Well either way tell me later. By the way who are three? " He asked pointing to Pyrrha, Rin and Nora.

"Oh the red head is Pyrrha Nikos, the over enthusiastic one is Nora Valkari, and the quiet one with the link strip is Lie Rin. " Yang said.

"Nice to meet you. " Nova said

" Nice to meet you to. "

" Hello. "

" Greetings. "

" Sorry for the rude interruption. But I have to announce the results. So would you come in. " Ozpin asked.

" Okay. " They said.

They then headed inside for the team formation.
