2 prologue

UECSF Guardian, Ouroborus-class battleship in orbit of the Earth,

For one Captain James Corvin, everything was going fine until a few minutes ago, everyone on the ship was preparing for the celebration of the New year and the beginning of the new century,

Even the ever stoic Diabolus was starting to relax and join in the fun,

Then everything went to shit,

A sudden wave of energy disable all Radio and Laser-based communications throughout the Star system, only the Quantum based communications were still functional, as soon as the communication came back online, he immediately contacted the 20 other ouroboros-class battleships in the solar system and received reports about a similar situation but then things got even worse,

The very face of the Earth had changed, a strange landmass that looked to be in the forms of a dragon was right in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, South America had a new neighbor in the form of a massive continent, another landmass was right in the middle of the Indian ocean, a new landmass covered in ice was now located near the North pole, but Australia had it the worst,

It was now directly connected to a strange continent that was roungly the same size as itself,

"GET ME THE UEC RIGHT NOW!!!" James shouted as the communication connected him directly to the leaders of the UEC,

On the screen, a young man of 25 years of age dressed in an orange and black suit can be seen,

This was Dr.Nagesh Chopra, the greatest Cardiologist in the world and one of the head councilour of UEC representing India, he was responsible for creating a new form of nanite that was accessible to the public, unlike its counterpart used in the Diabolus project, this Nanite was strictly used for the cure of many diseases throughout the world,

alongside him stood another man that was almost 30 years of age wearing a business suit,

This was Alexander Beket, the greatest Physicist in the world and one of the head councilours of UEC representing the USA, he was responsible for the creation of the latest Quantum communications equipped on every single military vehicle in the UEC,

beside then stood a Woman dressed in standard Russian military uniform, she looked to be in her 20s and was very beautiful

This was Natasha Minofsky, the greatest weaponologist in the world and one of the head councilours in UEC representing Russia, she was an expert in weapon designing, the latest upgraded handheld Laser cannon was her brainchild,

there was another man that looked to be in his 40s that wore a suit that stood right beside Natasha,

this was Michael Black, the greatest Geologist and Engineer in the world and one of the head councilours in UEC representing the EU, he was responsible for the creation of the Helecarrier project,

"What is it, Captain? we are in the middle of calming down the citizens from the unprecedented earthquake!!" Natasha said sternly as the rest of the councilors looked at the screen waiting for him to speak,

"Ma'am there is something even more alarming that an earthquake going on!!!, look at the images I am sending you!!" he said as one of the privates sent the images from the 'Guardian',

the faces of the councilours changed immediately as Michael shouted,

"Is this some kind of a joke Captain? because this is not funny!!!"

"Sir, this is no joke, I have already contacted the 'Reaper' that is on the opposite side of the planet in orbit and they confirmed this reading," he said,

for some time, the councilors did not say anything, then Nagesh walked forward and said,

"Recall all Ourobourous-class battlecruizers from their expeditions in the system, contact the Helicarriers and tell them to secure the borders of every single one of our continents, lockdown Mars, no one leaves the planet until we say so, declare the system-wide emergency, I want every single Titan-class battlecruiser in Mars orbit and tell them to keep their weapons primed in case something happens, if the people ask what is happening then tell them that Earth is right now under threat and quarantined off until further notice, send in two Helecarriers to Japan and China and pick up Councilour Narukami and Councilour Quin Yue, as soon as the two Councilours are onboard, take them to the 'Guardian' immediately with the Dragons, after that we will gather the rest of the Councilours and then arrive there ourselves, we will inform the people about the emergency and tell them to go to the public bunkers, just in case, and I want total air space lockdown!!" he finished his orders to which James dumbly nodded, thankfully, his XO was taking notes on his orders so that they can execute them,

In a place that was once the testing grounds for experimental aircraft and USA government secrets, it was now filled to the brim with latest military hardware and was the first line of defense against any form of attack,

As soon as the information about the strange landmass was obtained and orders from the UEC received, every single Global Defender and Dragon was deployed to secure the air space of the continent, throughout the world, similar situations were occurring on every continent,

there were two Helicarriers that were protecting the Continent of North America, another two Helicarriers were circling South America,

Three Helicarriers were guarding Africa as two Helicarriers guarded Europe,

Four Helicarriers guarded Asia while China and India received an additional dedicated Helicarriers for protection because of their high strategic value, India as the greatest producer of spices and other food products along with space equipment, and China with the greatest producer of manpower and infantry,

three Helicarriers were sent to Australia because of the precarious position it was in after the sudden appearance of its neighbor,

the other seven Helicarriers were going around the perimeter of the oceans throughout the world to asses the situation with the strange landmass,

The Kingdom of Vale,

Vale was having a really hard time understanding just what the hell had happened, one moment everything was fine, and the next moment a sudden quake hit the kingdom with great force,

as if that was not enough, one of the news reporters that was near the port of vale for a documentary immediately sent a live telecast of a landmass suddenly appearing out of nowhere,

after some time, when the kingdom had began to calm down, strange ships that looked similar to the carriers of Atlas started circling the landmass,

the Headmaster of Beacon Academy, Ozpin contacted one of his agents, a certain crow to investigate the matter,

Salem was not a happy woman right now,

First, when she was having a calm day, a sudden quake that reminded her of the time when the moon fell apart jolted her,

then she found the said moon to NOT be cracked, instead, it was as beautiful as it was during the time when she was still mortal,

As if that was not enough, she sensed that the pools of darkness that gave birth to the Grimm, the pool left behind by the God of Darkness himself was losing power very quickly, as if it was separated from its source of energy,

She then felt the grip of the curse she had received all those millennia ago slowly weakening,

All in all, she was a very confused woman right now,
