1 I still wanna know how she did that

I hear the door open to the dust shop Ruby and I were in.

'Hey Dest?' I call.

{Yeah?} Dest answers.

'What's the third surprise?' I ask him.

{Your team, without giving to much away, the name of your team will be team NGHT (Night) and your the leader,} He answers. { Anyway pay attention you're part of the series now.}

As soon as Dest told me this I felt Ruby tap me on my shoulder. I look to see what she wanted and she pointed in front of me. A goon motions for me to take my headphones off.

"I said put your hand in the air," the goon says.

"Hey sis," I calmly say to Ruby.

"Yeah Noir," She responds.

"Is he really robbing us?" I ask.

"Yes," the goon interrupts.

"You can have this one Ruby," I say.

"Thanks bro," Ruby says as she kicks the goon.

Not very long after that two more goons ran up to us. I stomp on the ground and my boot blasts me forward. I pull my arm back and punch

one of the goons taking him with me out the window. I land in a kneeling position on him a few seconds later, Ruby is beside me with Crescent Rose unfolding into its scythe form.

'How did I know to do that?!' I exclaim.

{Muscle memory,} Dest answers. {You have to remember your body technically has been on Remnant for

"Ruby."

"Yes Noir?"

"Turn your headphones off, I can hear you music."

We turn to see Roman looking at us as he turned to his goons and tells them, "Get them."

The rest of his goon came running toward us. I look toward Ruby, smile, then blast toward the goons using my semblance.

'What the crap Dest?! This feels extremely weird, it's like my mind is split into millions of separate pieces for every petal,' I tell Dest.

{You'll probably get used to it,} Dest says nonchalantly.

'Also what happens to people I use my semblance on who don't have their aura unlocked?' I ask.

{Oh it just as absorbs their life energy,} Dest answers.

'What the carp?! You really should have told me that before I started beating these guys up!' I yell at him.

{What's done is done and don't worry so much life energy is incredibly potent so you didn't take much,} Dest calmly responds.

'Phew I didn't want to be a murderer, ya know, yet.'

{Also Roman is kinda pointing his cane gun at Ruby,} Dest points out.

'What?!' I turn around to see exactly what Dest said was happening.

"Well it's been fun, see you around Red and you too Grim," Roman says as he pull the trigger.

I grab and throw a goon in front of the shot as I rush to pull Ruby out of harm's way.

"Uh~ Noir?" Ruby says.

"Yes sis," I respond while still hugging her.

"The bad guy is getting away," She points out.

"Oh yeah~," I say pulling away from her to look at Roman. "I really need to avenge my meat shield."

Ruby gets up and turns to the shop owner, "Mind if we go after the guy?"

The shop owner nods and I say to her, "Really Ruby the guy just go robbed by that guy why wouldn't he want to go after him."

"Shut up," She says. "He already is getting away."

"Right run now, argue later," I say while quickly climbing the ladder to chase Roman.

We end up catching up to him as the airship piloted by Cinder was taking off. Roman was aiming his cane gun at Ruby again.

'Not again,' I thinks as I try to think about how to block the shot.

{Dude it doesn't matter, Professor Goodwitch is gonna block it anyway,} Dest reminds me.

Roman pulls the trigger but the shot is deflectedby an invisible force somehow. I turn and see Glynda Goodwitch right beside Ruby. Somehow she creates a storm around the airship. The ship starts shaking as the storm is formed.

'Okay isn't her semblance telekinesis? I really want to know how she makes that storm,' I think.

{She probably uses her telekinesis to pull all the water molecules together to make the storm,} Dest explains.

'Do you really think that is what she did or are you BSing me?'

{BSing...}

'Yeah but I still want to know how she did it.'

{Also are you going to start shooting at the ship are are you going to let Ruby and Goodwitch handle it?}

'I want to but my gauntlets have short range and I don't want to use Viscous Obsidian yet.'

{Turn the gear on the gauntlet.}

I followed his instructions and turned the gear. Shortly after a scope popped up off of it and the barrels extended out. I aim at the airship and air punch at it. The shots don't even make a dent in the ship. But soon Roman runs toward the cockpit and Cinder comes out.

'Okay I really want to know how her face can't be seen by here, I mean it makes sense if she's below us but come on.'

{The less you question it the quicker you head to Beacon.}

'Noted.'

Cinder blasts at us with fire and Goodwitch deflects it with her semblance. This went on for awhile until Cinder aims her gun at me and Ruby. So Goodwitch pushes us down to avoid geting hit as the airship flies away once it is released from Goodwitch's telekinesis.

"So~ that went well," I say awkwardly.

"If it was up to me you'll be sent home with a pat on the back (Ruby sits up straight with a big smile on her face)-," Goodwitch says finishing her extremely long and boring lecture. "And a slap on your wrist (Cracking down a horse whip on the table in front of Ruby's hands)."

'Any closer and she would have seen how fast I put a knife to her throat,' I tell Dest. 'I don't care if she is a teacher

{So, what's your goal when you get to Beacon?} Dest asks changing the subject.

'Become a hunter, stop the events of seasons 4-6, save Pyrrha, and date/marry Blake,' I answer.

{No harem?} Dest asks.

'No harem, I'm to lazy, but I mean if Neo wants to join I'm 100% for that,' I respond.

The door in front of us opens revealing Professor Ozpin with a plate of cookies, a bag of candy, and his coffee mug. He sets the cookies in front of Ruby, the candy in front of me, and takes a seat

"Noir and Ruby Rose," Ozpin begins. "How interesting you both have silver eyes."

"Yeah me and Noir were both born with them, we're twins, but Noir is older than me by a few seconds," Ruby says while stuffing her face with cookies.

"Mr.Rose it says here you are top of you class in Signal from your studies to combat and Ms.Rose I have only known one person to wield a scythe to that degree, a dusty old Qrow," Ozpin says.

"Yeah, he's our uncle and he taught us, Noir was a natural but I was really bad at first but I got better and now I'm like; *Hah* *Hoo* *Wah* (She says with a cookie in her mouth while doing kungfu moves)," Ruby tells him. "Once we

graduate from Signal we plan on going to Beacon to become Hunters."

"Ms.Rose why do you want to become a Hunteress?" Ozpin asks.

"Our parents-" Ruby says as I zone out, based on my new memories I listened to this a hundred times so boring.

"Ms.Rose do you know who I am?" Ozpin asks her.

"Your Professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon," Ruby answer.

"Yes you are correct Ms.Rose, do you want to come to my school?" Ozpin asks.

"More than anything," Ruby says seriously.

"What about you Mr.Rose, you haven't said a single word," Ozpin says to me. "Why do you want to be a Hunter?"

I think back to my memories of my old life and the memories of my new life.

"I want to be a Hunter... to find a purpose. I know it's not a real answer but life is ever-changing, there is no set reason for why we're born. So I want to find a reason," I tell him.

"So do you want to rethink my offer from last month? When I offered to have you come to my shool?" Ozpin asks me.

"He offered you a chance to go to Beacon early?!" Ruby exclaims.

"Yeah I'll go, I only reason I didn't want to go was because I wanted to wait for my twin sister to go with me anyway," I tell them.

"Well see you at Beacon," Ozpin says.

"I can't believe my baby brother and sister are going to Beacon with me!" Yang says excitedly while hugging both me and Ruby. We were on the airship to Beacon.

"Yang, you know that crack you heard, well that was my back," I tell her.

"Please let us go Yang," Ruby says.

"I'm so proud of you two," Yang tells us while letting us go.

"It was nothing," Ruby and I say at the same time.

"But it was, everyone at Beacon is going to think your the bee's knees," Yang responds.

"I don't want to be the bee's knees, I don't want to be any kind of kness, I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees," Ruby awkwardly says.

"Hey Ruby," I say. "What's the problem?"

"It's just that we got moved up two years, I mean I understand why you, Noir, got moved up," Ruby says. "You were the top student at Signal and I was just average."

"Ruby, I'm not going to give you a cheesey speech about how we're all special and junk," I tell her. "If I'm honest no one's special, we all have different gifts and abilities, and you got here by using your set of gifts, abilities, and a bit of luck. But you deserve to be here like anyone else. "

"Thanks bro," Ruby says. "Somehow you made me feel better."

"Hey Ruby and Noir look," Yang calls to us because she walked to the window at some point. "You can see Signal from here."

"Guess home isn't so far away," Ruby says.

"Beacon's our home now," Yang tells her.

"Yeah, and with the three of us this will be a great school year," I say.

"Uhh~," a groan was heard behind us. "Oh no, oh no, oh no."

Jaune runs behind us to get somewhere to barf quickly.

'Useless! I cannot let Ruby and him go out,' I think. 'Also better get a safe distance away because I don't want vomit on me.'

As I started backing up I hear Ruby say, "I wonder who we're going to meet."

"Hope it's better than Vomit Boy over there," Yang responds.

"Eww~ Yang you got some on your shoe," Ruby tells her.

"Noir, Ruby get it off, get it off," Yang says while hopping on one foot.

"Ew stay away, stay away, stay away," Ruby says running away from Yang.

I took the chance to run away from Yang, 'Goal achieved No Vomit near me.'
