16 Snowball fight pt 2

The sound of footsteps tracking through the snow could be heard as a group of five children rushed towards a single one. Each child has a snowball in hand, on the other side Raziel could be seen crouched down making snowballs as fast as he could.

- Raziel pov -

Glancing up towards the kids now running at me I have three snowballs I made on the ground. Grabbing two of them I stood up under my scarf, a small smile seemed to sneak on my face. The feeling of being out of a life or death situation is fun.

Rushing towards them their eyes showed signs of shock from the levels of speed I reached. Raising their snowballs three of the children let loose their snowballs towards me the first one flew past me, thrown with only strength.

The second and third are both on target but twisting and lowering my body I am able to just dodge them. Now standing a few steps away I look up and watch the snowball in the girl's hand in front of me fly towards me as she stumbles back a few steps.

Rolling under it I see the last boy's arm pull back as I see that I grab the girl's arm and pull her towards me. The snowball flies out, the girl in front of me stares at me with wide eyes. I pull myself up as I stand now to her side.

Raziel: "Sorry about this"

Before anything else could be said a snowball speeds through the air landing square on her face. Rushing past her, picking up another snowball from the ground and launching it towards another child it flies and slams into the chest of another child.

Looking around I see three in the fight two of them close together, another getting another snowball on the ground ready. The group of two kids had a tall skinny guy picking up a snowball from the ground, the other one a short stout kid holding a single snowball in hand.

Going into an all-out sprint my eyes focused on the tall kid, I rushed towards him, my blood rushing, my heart beating like a drum, this was so much fu- my foot lost its grip as below me a patch of ice that took any footing I had.

I twisted my body to gain control again but it was too late, a snowball came rushing at me. I tried my best to turn to get a hold but all I had left was a single foot in the snow and the other one still on the ice.

My mind worked overtime thinking up anyway to dodge but all that was left was my semblance. But the thought of using it to win a game against kids made me laugh inside. The snowball hit my shoulder at great speeds making me fall into the snow.

Tall kid: "I think I got him!"

stout kid: "Ha, you got em you got em what a gosh dang good shot pal!"

Laying in the snow my eyes stare straight into the sky. By this time the sun was at its peak with only a few clouds in the sky. A long sigh is blown out with condensation forming, sitting there for half a minute hearing footsteps in front of me as one of the kids walks towards me.

sitting up I face toward him the tall kid now standing in front of me his breath heavy. looking down at me a grin crosses his face, he squats down now face to face with him. The stout kid ran back to his base and the other kids walked towards us.

Jimmy: "Hey man, you must be new around here my name's Jimmy! just wanted to say you're amazing, the moves you did back there were so cool!"

His eyes shined with kindness and childish wonder, just looking at him and how he acted. He's a good head and a half above his peers. But I got the vibe he was the kind giant type, he had dirty blond hair with emerald eyes and his cheeks still had a little baby fat on them. thinking this I could feel the aura of someone walking behind me.

As I turned to look at who it was, a pile of snow fell on me, wiping it away. I saw the girl I used as a meat shield. She had sky blue hair with teary dark gray eyes.

Raziel: "Uh sorry about what I did it was just in the moment"

Girl: "Yo- you big bully! I don't forgive you, I'm not some shield"

Raziel: "Ahh fuc- *cough* again I'm sorry I was in the wrong my name's Raziel you can call me Raz"

Mia: "Hmpf ill think about it Raz just don't do it again the name's Mia."

As I sat there relaxing both Jimmy and Mia started to bicker with the other about what happened mostly Mia whaling on Jimmy. Getting up I make sure all my Faunes traits are still hidden well and then look towards the pair.

Raziel: "Uh Jimmy, shouldn't you be off helping your team?"

Jimmy: "Hahaha I'm just glad I got to meet you and make a new friend so it should be fine"

Mia: "Jimmy's being a wussy again. what's all this mushy stuff?"

Jimmy's face turns slightly red as he gives off an awkward laugh, he gives Mia a light head chop and starts to run off. Mia gives chase just as fast shouting some unintelligible words, as I just watch this all unfold with how their childish banter goes on.

- 3rd pov -

Raziel, Mia, and Jimmy all make it to the other team's base in this small alleyway redcap was laughing like no tomorrow both groups seemed to merge. as the large group of kids had formed small groups to talk amongst themself.

Walking with the pair Raziel starts to mingle with the group Mia and Jimmy are a part of. The group had Redcap kid, Mia, Jimmy, and this other kid. He had brown hair braided into a ponytail, the group is overall just very friendly.
