23 Trolling Cinder and seeing the Wizard

On an awkward trip back to Beacon, Qrow was regretting everything that led up to this point in his life. He didn't have enough booze to deal with his current situation. Raven had enjoyed his reaction the first time and had placed Neo on her lap at the start of the lap. Though she found herself enjoying it for another reason too. Her hands were roaming Neo's body over her clothes. But she knew if her brother wasn't there, they'd already be under them.

Qrow was really weirded out at the red and thirsty expression his sister was making. He'd never seen that from her at all and it frankly made him cringe. Neo was on her scroll, not minding this at all while she played a game that resembled Mega Man. All the while she was letting everyone in the chatroom know of her imminent return to Beacon.

[>Neo²: Just don't tell Ren and Nora yet. Or Yang, Weiss and Ruby<]

[>Prettykitty: Yeah they'd probably question why and how we knew<]

[>Spartanwaifu: I'm gonna fight Raven as soon as she gets here. It's not fair<]

Pyrrha seemed really aggravated. She was separated from her partner and not-so-secret crush, for two entire months. Though she texted and sent videos of her training the bandits while she sung 'I'll make a man out of you' from some movie, it wasn't enough. She wanted to see her in person. To get her nightly sleep buddy back. To run her hands through her hair. To accidentally give her a hickey again.

~Wait what was that last one..? When did I start thinking like a deviant..?~ Pyrrha grabbed her head in panic, almost missing the next message.

[>Neo²: Why? I'm not hosting a tournament for who I like best. I think all of you are insanely attractive. Looks and personality-wise. No real need to fight over who I like. It's petty and kinda not worth it. I'll be thrust into this 'will she, won't she' thing, doubt my worthiness of having like.. 4 women like me. And you know damn well I'd choose you all in the long run! I'm fucking selfish<]

Neo went on a rant again, though this time it all got them thinking.

[>Prettykitty: It's true.. so many books do that. I mean.. should we? I'm not entirely sure I'm in love. Attracted? Yeah. Maybe I have developing feelings. But I want to be sure I can answer these feelings. So I need to see Adam once again and determine if I still actually love him, even a little>] Blake replied.

[>Yangsyummymummy: I'm yours when you kill Salem. Though I do enjoy the feel of your soft chest in my hands..<]

[>BoobaphysicsFTW: Oh! Is this a love drama!? I love those!<]

[>Spartanwaifu: So.. you'd choose all of us?<] Pyrrha rubbed her face and sighed, making up her mind.

[>Neo²: If I fell in love with you all? Yes. I'm well on my way on that end. Hard not to love you guys if I'm being honest<]

[>Spartanwaifu: I'll let you know tonight, okay?<]

[>Icecreambae: I would share. I love Neo too much to see her sad. Also I think it's hot 👌👈<]

"She's as cultured as I am now.. I'm so proud!" Neo shed prideful tears and spoke softly.

She perked up and started messaging on her scroll with a twisted grin.

-Beacon-

Cinder was not having a good day. She had put the 'Mike Hunt' target on a lower priority now. After snooping around for two days, she found most of the students here to be stupid or ignorant. Team CRDL made an effort to hit on her at least five times that day. After finally returning to her room, she got a scroll notification from Jasmine. Pulling it up, a vein was visible on her head.

>Jasmine: I have a lead for you regarding the target. He has a sister living in Argus named 'Yorke Hunt' so maybe we can blackmail him with her hostage or something?<

"Fuck! How am I supposed to- UGH!!" Cinder threw her scroll on the bed.

>Jasmine: Oh and I found a White Fang defector. She wants to escape Vale. Name's Dixie Normous<

"GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!!!" Cinder screamed in her room, Neopolitan heard it in the nearby shower and broke out in a series of giggles, knowing Neo was probably responsible.

Neo put her scroll away, the Bullhead having landed at Beacon. Immediately, they see Glynda, Ozpin and Ironwood with two Paladins by him.

"I see my welcome party is here" Raven commented as she held Neo like a child holds their stuffed toy.

"You were a Bandit until recently. Plus, you think General Nasty over there wouldn't bring his army over with everything happening in Vale? I bet you they predicted he would be this brash. Probably hacking his shit as we speak" Neo casually commented, swinging her legs like a bored child.

"What..? What do you know, Student?" Ironwood strode forward but Ozpin stopped him with his cane.

"I believe we have much to discuss, you two. Please, follow us to my office" Ozpin gave a look to Ironwood and Raven shrugged, following the group of Qrow, Ozpin, Glynda and Ironwood while carrying Neo.

"Do you absolutely have to carry me?" Neo gave Raven a look but Raven just smirked and squeezed her.

"Yes. It's actually quite comforting" Raven casually replied and her smirk deepened upon seeing Qrow's face twitch, along with Ironwood and Glynda's.

"You troll.." Neo poked her face and saw Pyrrha rush down with both NPR and team RWBY hot on her trail.

All of them looked happy to see Neo, of course. But Yang quickly fixated on her Mother and looked anxious. She started to storm over but the Paladin beside Ironwood suddenly aimed its firearm at her. Too late to stop it, Yang tried to slide to a stop but the next moment, she saw Neo and Raven disassembling the Paladin incredibly quickly.

"James! That was a student!" Glynda immediately chastised Ironwood, who was scowling at Raven for a moment before reassessing their strength and widening his eyes upon seeing the lightning around Neo's hand.

"Magic.." Ozpin mutters in silence as Qrow nods once and urgently looks at Ozpin.

"Quicky now. Up to my office.." Ozpin picks up the pace, their group following as both teams looked in awe.

"B..But Uncle Qrow, she's-" Yang tried to step closer again.

"Firecracker.. just wait until-" Qrow sighed and started to talk to her when Raven turned around and looked at Yang.

"Yang.. I'll stop by your room after I talk to Ozpin. I'll answer anything you want me to" Neo felt Raven's heartbeat quicken in anxiousness and pat her arm.

"Promise..?" Yang looked her in the eyes and asked.

"I promise" Raven nodded to her and continued on with the group.

"Wait why was she carrying Neo..?" Yang asked her team.

"Oh! Leader probably converted her to her religion or something!" Nora chimed in with excitement.

"Maybe they became friends?" Ruby saw the weird expressions their teams made and suggested to calm them down.

Pyrrha just half laughed, knowing both were somewhat true. Neo called it 'Yurism' whenever she flirted with them.

-Ozpin's office-

Taking a seat, Ozpin poured himself a coffee and looked at Raven and Neo. Qrow, Glynda and Ironwood were all behind them, waiting for the conversation to start.

"So, Raven. Why did you abduct Miss Jasmine over here? I believe that's the right way to start this conversation" Ozpin stirred his coffee after dropping two sugar cubes inside.

"As you saw earlier. She shows magical talent and one other thing I'm sure you'll be interested in" Raven folded her legs and looked Ozpin in the eyes.

"Please, explain. Is she a Maiden?" Ozpin looked at Neo, who was pulled up on Raven's lap, sitting there casually.

"No. I discovered a ruin in Western Vacuo and some white glowing horn or something was inside. I was escaping a Manticore and ran in. I picked it up, thinking it had Dust inside or something and it shocked me. I kept it a secret to use in the Vytal festival. Though until just recently I could only surround and enhance my body with lightning. Now I can mold it a bit better and fire projectiles" Neo chimed in, leaning back on Raven and showing them her hand, which is holding a mini lightning bolt before she disperses it.

Glynda and Ironwood were shocked at her display. As far as they knew, only Ozpin, Salem and the Maidens had magic.

"Yes.. I saw a hint of this back in the courtyard. Luckily it was only us and the two teams who saw it. I suppose that answers why you were taken. But why is it that I hear you've made a tribe of bandits into mercenaries? I hear every day that your group is out there, protecting settlements and clearing out lands. Why the change, Raven? I thought you deemed our struggle useless?" Ozpin narrowed his eyes at the woman, who just smirked.

"Because that lightning is not the extent of her magic. She can destroy Salem" Raven calmly uttered as the room grew quiet.

"Show me.." Ozpin almost whispered in disbelief as Neo stood up and held out her palm.

Pulling out Rhongomyniad, the spear of King Arthur. The magic in the atmosphere stirred and filled the entire room. Ozpin once again felt the rush of magic as mana filled his old body. His magic replenishing just in the presence of the lance. He was shaking in sheer excitement at what this meant.

"That.. That is.." He could barely start his sentence, let alone finish it.

"It can destroy her, permanently. If she ever got hit by that.. It's over" Raven spoke confidently but not even she knew what the full capability of the gorgeous lance was.

"I'm here because we finally have a shot to end this. Neo gave me her idea of turning the tribe into mercenaries. She wanted to help her team and end this war before it dragged them into it" Raven said as they watched Neo put the lance away.

They all breathed the remainder of the magically present atmosphere before it dispersed and they stared at the figure of Neo, who was the one to wield that magical lance.

"If I can get the scientists back in Atlas to study it.." Ironwood was cut off by a stern Ozpin.

"No. The relic is one thing but that.. is an entirely different matter. I suspect only Neo can wield that.. magic. Neo, you know everything about Salem and the Maidens from Raven, yes?" Ozpin folded his trembling hands to stop the shaking.

"Yup" Neo casually popped the 'p'.

"Would you be our next Maiden? I..-No we need you. You are in possession of a miracle. With you, the world can finally move on without Salem working in the shadows.." Ozpin sighed, looking tired despite his renewed vigor magic gave him.

"I told Raven this but that's exactly what I wanna do. With great power comes great responsibility, after all" Neo nodded and thanked Spider-man in her mind as Ironwood, Qrow, Glynda and Ozpin gave her impressed nods.

"Thank you, Miss Jasmine.. I suspect it's been a long few months for you. Your team has been asking for you almost every day after all. Go get some well-deserved rest. I'll talk to Raven here about coordinating our forces and the plan going forward" Ozpin gave her a grateful smile.

"Alright. Don't stay up too late though, you're not as young as you used to be" Neo heard him chuckle as she took the elevator down.

-JNPR dorm-

Neo burst into her dorm room, ready to yell 'surprise' but it seemed they all expected her. Everyone but Weiss and Ren dog piled her and buried the small girl.

"Thanks guys. Good to see you too" Neo spoke into Yang's long blonde hair that was draped over her face.

"You.. I dunno what you did but you brought my Mom back... Thank you" Yang squeezed her in her hug, cracking Neo's back and making her release a pleased sigh in Pyrrha's ear.

"Ahh... that's nice.. You're welcome" Neo made the effort to pat all of their backs.

"It wasn't too boring without us there, right?" Blake said as she got up.

"I'll tell you guys the juicy details.. tomorrow! That's right, cliffhanger! Ha!" Neo laughed at them as the group nearly fell over.

"No fair! I bet you tamed NEVERMORE!" Nora pumped her arms up and shouted.

"Tomorrow. It's late right now and we have the weekend to talk about it all. It's gonna be busy with the Festival soon. So come on! Time for bed" Neo stood up and clapped once.

"Awww.." Ruby pouted with Nora.

After returning to their dorm, Neo tossed off her coat with a sigh and tied her hair up in a loose ponytail. Though Pyrrha was checking her out while she licked her lips in preparation of what she was going to do that night. Having put sleeping medicine in Ren and Nora's food today to prepare for it.
