Ascension II

-Moments earlier, in the Void-

A sigh escaped the lips of a certain being watching over Neo. With this, she would certainly die. Waiting years for another suitable reincarnator was an issue, given their current circumstances. On top of that, quite a lot of them were taken by the Gods to spread their influence, wage war and take worlds. So the being that introduced themselves as Michael to Chris sighed and peered into Neo's eyes.

"It would take so long.. She's also different from the last one. I'll have to do this if I want her to stop them.." The being reached its hand into its chest, sinking in as if it was made of water.

"Record message. Time release, two months. Hey, Neo. This is Michael. You've been doing really good so far. Sadly, at the time of you hearing this, I'll already be dead. By now you know about the beings who take reincarnators and give them power for their means. I, am not one of those beings. You could essentially call me an Overseer of the true Omniverse. One of the oldest ones, really. Things have gotten out of hand. Case and point, the Goddess who took control of that Demigod Reincarnator. Things could get real nasty, real soon. I wish I could explain so much more but you'll soon be meeting Lilith, so I know you'll be alright. I need you to do something for me in exchange for what I do now. I'm sacrificing my very core to supercede Divine Law and will perish for it. In exchange.. please kill the reincarnator I had chosen before you. They were meant to be the balance in the Omniverse. Try to prevent these beings from destroying every world they touch. Instead.. they propagated it and thrive off the endless bloodshed. I need you to kill %##^&$#@. Damn.. interference. You'll cone across them soon. Good luck, okay?" The being finished, pulling out an ultra bright sphere and sending it into a digitized stream of code before they slowly disintegrated.

"I'm sure... you'll like her... Lilith.." The being's final words echoed out into the void before they were no more.

-A moment later, Remnant-

[Mission.. accomplished.

Neo got up, much to Tearwyn's delight, her body changing rapidly along with her clothes. The previously grievous wounds had all disappeared.

Tearwyn giggled, prompting the Dark Goddess to tilt her head in puzzlement. She tried to ask Tearwyn something but the sight of her threatening Blake's life sent Neo into overdrive. Utilizing all her strength and speed, Neo hit her with a lightspeed punch to the jaw and knocked her down many of the tough floors. Neo knew that wouldn't even be close to truly hurting her so she quickly looked to Blake and Fou.

"Blake!! NEVER give up like that again, do you hear me!? Even if it looks like I'm dead.. I don't care! You cannot just give up.. Scrungo, please take her out of here. This place isn't gonna hold up very long" Neo chastised a shocked Blake, who slowly nodded her head, grateful Neo was okay.

Fou saluted before grabbing Blake and sprinting out of the nearest window with her. Neo turned her attention back to the irate Dark Goddess below who had gotten back up with not even a scratch on her. Their Divinities clashed and covered the continent with their overwhelming power. Tearwyn was smiling to herself and thinking as she held onto Neo's back.

Neo once again descended upon the Dark Goddess with her incomprehensible speed and dropkicked the Goddess, though she wasn't caught off guard this time and blocked with her greatsword. Though, still they both rocketed straight down through the Castle, as if a tungsten rod was dropped from space onto the Castle. As a result, the city rumbled and the Castle began to collapse from the sheer force.

As the Castle fell around them, Neo once again attacked. Taking out the Yamato, she swung and clashed blades with the Dark Goddess. Their speed and force creating booming noises of metallic clashing that blew away the falling debris of the Castle. Her instincts screamed at her and Neo dodged a massive magic beam from the Dark Goddess, flipping back as it cut a two hundred kilometer swath through the city before exploding off in the distance.

Neo responded by activating her new magic, feeling Blake and Fou weren't nearby and Tearwyn would be unaffected by what she was going to do. Neo turned her body into a giant magical construct of lightning and fire, drowning the area in white and burning red. The Dark Goddess stared in anger and prepared to take on her magic. Though she quickly found out, she wasn't. Several dozen pillars of lightning and large fireballs followed her as she descended upon the Goddess.

The ground cracked and exploded, the city flattened and buildings burned and crumbled while her magic attack lit up the surrounding area like an enormous beacon of destruction. Neo knitted her brows, noticing the slight injury to her foe while noting the destruction necessary for her to take her down. That's when Tearwyn chimed in.

"Careful! You could destroy a lot more than this city going at it like this!" Tearwyn warned.

Neo nodded and snap kicked the Goddess in the chin, the force carrying her up, quickly. Neo spun and swung the Yamato over four dozen times, cutting a large tear in space above the Goddess while flying energy slashes hit her and ensured she was carried inside, where Neo quickly chased after her in a blur of white, pink and brown.

-Another world out in the Omniverse-

The Goddess cursed as she skid to a stop, seeing a verdant green world and three souls nearby. Though she couldn't observe for long, as Neo came through and punched her in the nose, creating a sonic boom from the impact and speed and resulting in a bloody nose. It wasn't the end, as she felt that same impact nail her in the face a thousand more times, partially fracturing her skull and violently ejecting her into the sky, only to be hounded by several hundred streaks of lightning she was forced to block with an expulsion of her Destruction magic. She threw a meteor sized sphere of destruction magic back at Neo, who was flying after her at breakneck speed.

-Meanwhile, back with Mumei, Kro and Fauna-

"Uh.. Kro? Was that Neo?" Mumei asked her partner with a smile while Fauna blinked in confusion.

"The one you mentioned a while ago? She was a Kitsune Goddess.. You think she's her?" Kro asked her increasingly giddy partner.

"YEAH! It's gotta be!! She had drip you know? Ah! Wait I wanna meet her!!" Mumei looked over to the fight, only to see Neo cut the sphere of destruction in half, dispersing the catastrophic energy before tricking the Goddess with her semblance and hitting her through a cut open portal and chasing her back inside.

Kro, Mumei and Fauna made it over to the site where Neo disappeared. Seeing she was gone, Mumei pouted, only to catch sight of a small present on the ground. Of course, it was a black fur collared jacket with a little image of a chibi Mumei and Chibi Neo on the back.

"AWWWW YEAAA-"

-Other side of the cut open rift-

This time, Neo and the Dark Goddess landed on the moon. The Earth seen below looked lifeless and grey. While Neo was thankful to get a dead world this time, the Dark Goddess smashed her fist into her stomach and created a new massive crater on the moon. Neo coughed up blood as her insides shook violently from the impact. Her vision stirred as the Goddess swung her blade, only to meet all nine of her tails. She didn't expect the tails to be as strong as Yamato in toughness and was caught off guard as Neo channeled lightning into body from their prolonged contact.

After that, Neo wrapped her tail around her leg and spun around at her maximum speed before flinging the Goddess across the surface of the moon to catch her non existent breath.

"Huh.. I guess I don't need to breathe anymore?" Neo commented, holding her stomach.

"Nope! You're also really resistant to temperatures that aren't affected by magic or other abilities~" Tearwyn responded, eager to see what Neo would do next.

"Good to know.." Neo wiped her bloody lip and unleashed the full authority of magic.

Zeroing in on her opponent, who had recovered and was launching seeking missles of destruction magic at her from the other side of the moon. Neo saw thousands of small red streaks coming at her all at once. Promising death if any more than a hundred hit at once. Her brows furrowed, grip tightening around Yamato as she flew straight into their path.

"You have a plan, don't you~?" Tearwyn asked as she held onto Neo's back.

Neo grinned, using short but rapid bursts of her lightspeed to dodge them as they flew at her. Her tails speared the surface of the moon and a massive chunk was torn out before it was thrown at the missles, which all but destroyed a house sized chunk that flew at the Goddess.

"You can't seriously think-" The Goddess obliterated the chunk, though failed to see Neo as a result of the scattering moon dust.

Until it was too late, that is. The Goddess saw Neo hit her with a harmless tap to her shoulder, her fingers in an odd, animal like shape. Then, Neo opened her fingers and the Goddess felt a loud 'CRACK' as her shoulder was forcefully dislocated. Urgently, she tried backing away and pointed her palm at Neo, who used her lightspeed to duck a beam of Destruction that shaved off a good portion of the Moon's surface. Again, she pressed her middle and ring fingers to her thumb with her index and pinkie fingers raised, and dislocated her other arm. Her hand resembling a fox head.

Neo felt her arms fracture from the Goddess' violent kick and was thus shot up into the upper atmosphere of the moon. She winced but grinned a vicious smile. This was what she was aiming for. Channeling her overwhelming amount of magic into Yamato, it abruptly transformed into a four thousand kilometer lightning blade that roared, despite the lack of sound on the moon. The Goddess looked up and terror struck her. She tried to snap her arms back in place but the coming slash was far too fast.

Neo swung with all her might and the lightning fell on the Goddess like a ruthless hammer. The moon was abruptly sliced clean in half and still, the slash did not stop. It violently impacted the Earth about a second later. Though Neo was nearly struck dumb, feeling the Goddess was only half dead after the slash and violent impact with the now scarred Earth's surface.

"Hehehehehe!! Nice shot! But Gods and Goddesses are insanely tough. Even ones on the lower rung like her" Tearwyn informed, smile widening as Neo pulled Rhongomyniad back out, fully released and changed.

"She won't survive this.. C'mon Arturia, let's make her regret messing with us. There's no life down there but her" Neo assured her, Rhongomyniad humming in acknowledgement as a colossal Divine presence erupted from the Lance.

Neo raised it slowly, hands firmly grasping it and running down the grip. She then pointed the tip at the Earth, where the Dark Goddess fell. Rearing her arm back, she focused as her muscles strained. A silent but bright glow enveloped the moon and Earth as Rhongomyniad's power spiraled in on its tip. Lightning crackled off it uncontrollably as Neo thrusted it.

"Fuck the planet, Rhongomyniad!!" Neo shouted as she unleashed its power.

On Earth's newly added giant trench, the Dark Goddess was beginning to piece herself back together. Her wounds mended and she picked herself up, trying to make a hasty escape. She looked up at the sky, her mouth agape as a star descended upon her, erasing any thoughts of escape as it encompassed everything. Erasing the very atmosphere as it passed through it. Erasing the sky. Erasing the surface. Erasing the planet. The Earth was obliterated into a trillion pieces as the light of judgement fell upon it. Though nobody but a few ever saw it.

Neo sighed and rubbed Rhongomyniad's shaft, hearing Tearwyn's excited exclamation at her win. Though Neo was just tired and replied with a smile as she cut a way back to Fou and Blake. Once there, she collapsed, back against a dead tree in the Grimmlands.

"Neo! What..-" Blake tried to ask, but Neo simply put her lover's face on her chest.

"Haaah.. Destructive Finish, Blake. I'll explain later.." Neo grinned, feeling Blake's arms around her waist.

Then, unexpectedly, a portal opened and a teenaged girl who resembled Merlin steppex through and picked up Fou.

"Woah- Hey! Where are you going with Scrungo!?" Neo got her energy back, pointing at the girl in outrage.

"He's my partner, thank you very- Scrungo..?" The girl muttered in confusion.

"Are you thwarting my plans?" Neo asked with a serious face.

"Thwarting your plans?" She asked with a raised brow.

"Are you~?" Tearwyn asked with a smile.

The girl didn't even reply, opting to just return back to where she came from while Fou saluted them.

""Scrungo!"" Tearwyn and Neo reached out to their new companion as he was taken back to his world.

"Aww.. I'll miss him~" Tearwyn muttered.
