~Jack POV~
After hearing the explanation of Shion's plan for me to join up with Team RWBY I had some thoughts about going into the dream world again…
Nervous is what I am.
When the time has already passed and I to recover enough, I listen to Ruby, Blake, and Yang's plan after lunch about what to do in the dream world with Ruby asking the ending of the plan, "Well? What do you think of our plan?"
Shion first began to explain the plan's that each member of Team R(W)BY proposed as I listened intently to them with my team and also helped create, "First, regarding Yang's idea, yes, it is possible to change what happens in a dream."
Yang smiles at this but not before Ozpin explains the bad news about her idea as well to everyone listening in, "But that is only if the dreamer sees it as a positive change. If Weiss considers it to be a negative change, you will encounter resistance."
Next, I hear some words coming from Blake about her views on Weiss's change even despite what happened yesterday as she tightens her fist, "I feel like I understand how Weiss wants to change. I was the same way. I knew I had to change, but I couldn't find a way to."
After she comes Yang as I see that it looks like they had time to relax their heads about the whole situation, "I want to tell Weiss, deep in her heart, that it's okay to change."
Soon came Ruby following their sentence of wanting to help Weiss out as she spoke her words, "I'm sure Weiss will also think what we're about to do is something good. I believe that."
At this Ruby began to look towards Weiss as did the rest of the teammates as she continues to talk about the situation, "I didn't understand, but we're not the only ones who are struggling. Even Weiss is fighting against the Grimm in her heart."
In her own heart huh?
That was when Shion began to voice his own opinion as he opens his eyes listening to Team R(W)BY determination, "Very well. One last thing. Regarding Ruby's idea, it actually does have a predicament, and it generally produced positive results."
I see Ruby talked about how we can use the Nightmare influence to be helpful on our end have to say that was unexpected.
Shion explained it to every one of Ruby's plans Pyrrha began to ask confused about the whole situation of Ruby's plan, "So prior experience with Nightmare possession can be useful?"
Hearing Pyrrha's question Shion replied without missing a beat as he explains how it's possible to us, "Yes. Jack's heart still retains the memory of hosting the parasitic Nightmare. Other Nightmares will mistake Jack for someone who is still possessed and will likely ignore them."
"Oh, no kidding?"
Hearing that response from Ruby I guess but that was when I heard Nora's words cutting me deep emotionally me, "You mean he's not worth noticing?"

I can actually feel that.
There goes my emotions.
That was when Shion began to explain further what he meant as he spoke out more about the subject, "No. He has developed immunity, so to speak. But the closer Jack gets to the Nightmare's body, the more of a reaction he'll have. The most common ones are itching and difficulty breathing but I don't need to tell you that."
Laughing lightly at that the members all looked at me with some confusion as I replied to their curiosity, "Hahaha… yeah. While Team R(W)BY were asleep saving Weiss Shion made a comment about me entering to help. I asked as he explained to me the situation as well as the risk."
Hearing this everyone's eyes landed on Shion wanting an explanation as he began to explain the advantages of having me join along, "Correct. Jack volunteered for this knowing the risk, but it also comes with its own advantages for you all. In return for the allergies, you should be able to move freely in a dream controlled by a Nightmare."
Hearing the news Yang was quick to be happy having a Spy in their ranks as she spoke, "Seriously? That's great!"
Ruby next began to agree with me helping out saving their friend with a smile on her face, "We can totally use your help, Jack!"
Nodding at this giving a thumbs up at them I replied already determined to enter the dream world, "No need to ask. I was planning to help you guys out from the beginning. After all, we're allies here saving a friend."
After I said my piece was when Shion began to reply about the consequences of me joining if the Nightmare Grimm finds me, "But if the rejection is too strong, there is a risk he may die from the shock inside the dream. I don't need to warn you but be careful."
Nodding my head I began to hear some comments from my teammates with… their words of advice… Nora.
"Ew. Dying in your sleep?"
Next was Ren being calm as he is cold… like a ninja.
"Please stay alive Jack."
At least with Pyrrha, I can have a pleasant voice of encouragement.
"I know you can do this, Jack."
Feeling the tap on my shoulder I could only nod at this giving my team a thumbs up as Shion began to give us what to do, "Somewhere in the dream, there should be an item identical to the one you found before. I do not mean to frighten you, but if you fail again, and in the time, it takes to recover my aura, it is quite likely that Weiss will lose her life. Do you understand?"

A looming silence fell on us thinking of what if however Ruby was the first to respond to this with her determined voice, "We won't fail again."
Yang soon follows being optimistic about the situation as she spoke to everyone here, "We gotta hurry up and wake up Weiss, so how we can tell her how tough this was, right guys?"
Blake responds to Yang's words as she smiled and turned her head in Yang's direction in a cheerful tone, "Yeah. Right now, I just want to talk to her. About all sorts of things."
Hearing the words of their confidence in fighting against this I can't help but feel envious of them.
Hah.
I talk about helping them out but even I'm afraid of helping Weiss after I nearly died yesterday still fresh behind my mind as I can't help but think about what if?
What if I died helping Blake and Sun against Roman…?
I was weak… very, VERY weak at the time facing that kind of threat.
And I'm still weak now making me extremely nervous about the idea of me entering a hostile area.
Now even though I hide it well enough I don't want to risk my life dying but…
But…
Turning my head towards the members of Team RWBY I couldn't help but be filled with courage seeing that they fight on unafraid of this.
Even I don't know if this was in the show or original but…
If they can stand up like how they fight for a friend, why am I wavering right now?
Is it because of the trauma of the Nightmare Grimm fresh in my mind or because I'm too scared to face this trial even after I say don't underestimate [The Gamer]?
Heh.
In the end, though it's perhaps I'm still human and afraid to rise up to the challenge ahead of me.
The fear of death and failure is fresh in my mind thinking of what if I fail or if I die trying to save someone who clearly doesn't like and even hates me for being around.
Still, even though they hear the words that there might be a chance of failing that Weiss –

No.
I can't think like that.
I have to be brave and get the courage to help out my friends.
Friends…
Yeah, ever since I came to this world, I have been alone and used what I have as a means to get strong.
Strong to a point I won't be fearful again.
Even if I'm weak… the weak have their own fighting style.
This isn't the time to be a coward since I know what the future holds.
A new of era of change is coming whether I like it or not it's going to happen one way or another.
For now, all I can do is rise up to the challenge and get stronger in the process even though I'm afraid to do so.
Calming myself with a deep breath I return their optimism with a brave smile.
Speaking out to them as I return to my slime at them agreeing with their sentiments as I replied, "Yeah. I promise to help out the most I can and save Weiss as well. It would be pretty funny to see how Weiss would react when she finds out when she got possessed. That's an opportunity I can't wait to see."
Yang grins at this so did the rest of the members of Team RWBY as they all began to laugh as if we won.
Yeah…
We just have to win is all.
"Hahaha!"
"I for one can't wait to see that."
That was when we all stopped laughing as we all looked toward Shion as we were all ready to accept the last attempt as he spoke out to me, "All right, prepare to enter the dream. You only get this shot. Make the most and save your friend."
"Right!"
It's either go big or go home now.
Let's see what Weiss has in store for me.
Because while what Shion says is true and with me hearing the conversation with her thinking I'm the enemy we didn't say I'll act like bait to lure Negative Weiss away for Team R(W)BY enough time to take out the Nightmare.
At the very least I can be helpful this way the only way I know how.
