Logan: "Wait... What!?!?" Logan half whispered/ half yelled. A third of his wings smacking the ceiling. Trying his best to ignore they warning siren that was going off in his head, Logan read the rest of what the mission was.

Logan was aghast at what he saw. A mixture of shock, fear, surprise, and worry. Shock and fear of what's to come. Surprise about the time he had to prepare. Worry for his family, with the coming horde on its way.

Logan: 'Okay, Logan, calm down. You have time until it gets here. It's time to plan. First, I have 3 hours, best thing is to have the town evacuate to Kuo Kuana. But how will I convince everyone? Let's leave that for now, the second thing I need to worry about is how to fight them? I have Ebony and Ivory, but them alone won't be enough. With what I have in my storage, I'll be able to hold it off for a bit, the biggest problem is that I don't know the size of the horde.' As Logan was drowning in his thoughts, Sophia knocked on his door.

Sophia: "Logan dear? You okay? I heard some banging from in there. You need any help getting dressed again?" Sophia asked through the door. She had heard Logan's wings hit the ceiling and came to see what's wrong.

Logan: "I'm fine! I just stubbed my toe then whacked my wings off the ceiling!" 'I really can't help but worry about them. I know I cant trust my family, but I don't want to endanger them.' Logan said to her and thought to himself.

Sophia: "Okay hun! Once your done getting dressed, please come out! We want to see what your weapons look like! These are your first after all!" She somewhat shouted through the door before leaving Logan be.

Logan sighed, he had to think of a way to keep his family safe. Even though he has a new life, he still couldn't escape from his past life. Try as he may, the things he done still hunt his dreams. Walking and then sitting on his stool, he started to plain. After 30 minutes of him thinking, predicting, and ruminating, Logan stood and walked into the living-room. As he entered, Logan saw that his family was gathered and were relaxing there. Another 10 minutes passed as he showed off Ebony and Ivory. As Logan was leaving, he told them that he was heading out to 'try his new toys' on some trees.

After leaving the town and walking a few hundred yards, Logan took off to the north-west. Hoping to catch the horde off guard when he arrived. While he was running, he had a thought, the system he was give was able to provide him with some answers. Wondering if it would work, he asked the system.

Logan: 'Hey, System. If I asked, could you use the materials I have in my [Void Storage] to build a weapon for me based off of a blue-print I made in there?' Logan was honestly curious about it as he hardly used it. Unless it was for a mission or buying supplies. The System wasn't used for much else.

System: ' I can. However, it will cost System Points and the cost will increase based on what it is you want built and will take time to build them.' The System responded in a robotic voice.

As Logan got the confirmation from the System, he thought about the 2 blue-prints he had sitting in his [Void Storage]. One was a bolt-action rifle with a scope that turned into an axe he called 'Black Jade'. The other was an mg42 that had a collapsible scythe on the front of the barrel and stock, dubbed the 'Grimm Reaper'. One was a long range heavy hitter that was perfect for ambushes, while the other was a close range mower capable of shredding everything in it's path. Logan knew that he didn't have enough time to think about it and made a decision.

Logan: 'Okay System, how much is it for the blue-prints for the [Black Jade] and [Grimm Reaper]. And can I get points by defeating Grimm?' Logan asked wile he was running towards the Grimm horde's direction.

System: 'With the materials on hand, it will cost you 15,000 points for the both of them and a 1,000 points to make aura magazines for them. Suggestion, I recommend that you buy the upgraded version of the aura magazines. With this, each full magazine will only drain your aura by 5%. Total cost of this will bring it to 20,000 points and will take 1 hour each to complete.' The system answered in a somewhat monotone voice.

Logan: 'Okay! I accept! Start with the [Black Jade] and once it's done, notify me immediately!' Logan responded. Even though it would clean him out of points, Logan was decisive in his choice. He still had well over 2 hours to find and set an ambush up.

After traveling for an hour Logan heard the System notified him that the [Black Jade] was completed. Quickly summoning it from his [Void Storage], Logan was pleasantly surprised that it turned out better then he thought. Based off the FN Ballista in .338 Lapua Magnum, was about the same length and a bit thinner with few variations to the design. The mag held 10 shots and was using aura made rounds that were similar in weight. The scope was the most unique part of it though, it was a small tube that didn't seem powerful enough to be placed on the rifle. Yet the scope was able to zoom with 2x, 4x, 8x, 12x, and 20x magnification; a truly unique scope. It came with an ergonomic grip, adjustable stock, bi-pod, and a flash hider. With this, Logan didn't have to worry about coming into their range any time soon or being found at range. All he had to do to reload it was to grab the magazine and send some of his aura into it.

After traveling another 30 minutes, Logan stopped and looked for some place he could scout from. Soon finding a tree that stood taller then the rest, Logan walked back a few feet and took a running start and placing [Black Jade] in his storage, as he was still unused to flying with his wings he needed a running start to get up. As he ran and flew up, he quickly found a thick branch he could land on about 3/4ths up the tree with a good view of the forest and plane in front of him. With the town of Unus close to a half day's journey from Kuo Kuana, and a good portion of the content not even explored, Menagerie was a place home to quite a bit of large forests and planes.

Taking out [Black Jade], Logan started using it's scope to scout the planes and the forest for any signs of the Grimm horde. As he was about to turn away from the planes, Logan spotted a cluster of Nevermore's at the far end of the planes and a large black mass. Swinging his rifle back over in their direction, Logan upped his magnification on his scope to examine it more closely. What he saw horrified him.

Logan: 'It close to about 200 Grimm. Nevermores, Sabyrs, Lancers, Griffons, Death Stalkers, Beowolfs, Beringels, Boarbatusks... Damn, it seems like any and every type of grim is in that horde, but it's mostly Beowolfs and Boarbatusks. I still don't see this...' "WHAT THE HELL?!?"

The Town of Unus

Azrael was sitting on his couch ad he read a book while his wife was working on stitching up some of his hunting clothes and his daughters were coloring in some picture books they had. The only one that was missing from this nice, quite moment was his son. He had left a few hours ago to test the pistols that he had made from scratch. Even though he was only 10 years old, Azrael knew that his son ,Logan, was very mature for his age and just as bright. The only thing that worried him about Logan was that he didn't get along with anyone his age. Yet for some odd reason, Logan got along well with the older generation of the town. Most of the adult's in the town found that Logan was acting much older then he was and didn't fined that odd at all. But Azrael blew it off as Logan seemed happy and didn't get in to trouble like his daughters. While Azrael was reminiscing and his wife and daughters were humming a simple song, he got an unexpected call.

Azrael: "Odd Logan's calling me. Well, lets see what this is about." Azrael spoke aloud and got the attention for his wife and daughters. Curious of what it could be, they became deathly quite as they knew that Logan rarely called unless it was important.

Azrael: "Hey Logan! What's..... WHAT! Are you sure?!? How far are you? HOW MANY?!? Yes... good idea. I'll see what I can do." He quickly turn towards his present family members. "Quick! Go get and pack an overnight bag! Go! Hurry!" Hearing the urgency in his voice, they didn't hesitate longer then a moment before they sprung into action. Quickly finding a pen and paper, Azrael returned to Logan. "Logan, I'm still here. Give me a rough estimate of what you see... Okay got it! Now get back here as soon as you can. NO! No trying to stall them! Your too inexperienced and have no training to handle any of them. Do you hear me!?"

As Azrael was talking to Logan, he suddenly hears a unknown woman's voice and the line when silent. Fear started to fill his heart. Countless thoughts plagued his mind when her hear the woman's voice once more.

???: "Hello? The boy you were talking to is fine. He was in danger and I and my partner moved him somewhere else, out of the way." The voice sounded soft and warm, as if the person talking was a bright and wondrous person. Azrael couldn't help but be taken back for a second.

Azrael: "Who are you? And what have you done with my son?" Azrael's voice, though calm didn't give away his anger, his eyes did. If anyone saw them, fear would be the best way anyone could have described what they felt. Trying to keep himself level, Azrael waited until the women spoke again.

Jade: "My name is Jade, and my partner is Reaper. We are hunters that live in the dark to serve the light. You need not be afraid nor angry. You have our word that your son will be fine and will be returned to you once we are done. And I suggest that you do what he said and evacuate. Your people are more important then your town. Get them to Kuo Kuana." Once the person know as Jade was finished talking, she hung up. Azrael slowly turned around and saw that his family that was currently present listening to him, their bags packed already. Sophia spoke first.

Sophia: "Honey, what happened? What happened to Logan?" Her words were shrill. Her worry was evident.

Azrael: "Logan stumbled across a horde of Grimm, close to 200 of them with many different types there. He called to have us evacuate to Kuo Kuana and warn them. A pair of hunters found him as he finish explaining what he wanted me to do. They said to follow his words and go. They will keep him safe." Azrael keep it simple. He didn't want to stress them out, fear of them passing out from the news. Ava and Eva were glade that their brother was fine and in capable hands. Sophia was relieved somewhat, but worry could still be seen on her face. Azrael went and quickly packed a bag and rushed out to call a emergency town meeting. It took less then 10 minutes for everyone to gather, including the town Elder. The Elder was an old battle-worn deer Faunus missing an arm, eye, and was heavily scarred. His remaining eye showed that he was far from being a worthless old man, even with his receding grey hair.

Elder: "Well Azrael! What have you called this emergency meeting for? This better be important!" The elder shouted for all the town to hear. Azrael stepped up and answered back as loud as he could.

Azrael: "We need to evacuate the Town! I have just received a confirmed for a horde of Grimm approaching us that number at least 200!" Azrael shouted at the top of his lungs. A murmur went through the crowd that surrounded the town hall were they were at.

Elder: "Preposterous! We would have know if that were true! We would have found some sort of trace of evidence if that were to happen! And the amount! 200!? There are no Grimm that can lead or give orders! Grim are mindless monsters! This is nothing more then a prank!" The Elder returned. The crowd started agreeing with the Elder. They too thought that Grimm were mindless monsters. Mike, the town guard, was by the side of the Elder, his face had a look of worry on it.

Azrael: "It's true! The ones that confirmed it were hunters, Trusted Colleges-"

Elder: "I knew it!" The Elder cut Azrael off. "You hunters are all the same! You think that just because your 'hunters' we'll believe anything you say! All you people want is money, power and women! Your nothing but savages!" The Elder spat with detest. Mike started to visibly shake.

Azrael: "You say all hunter are the same! Yet you your self were saved by one! Your best friend was one!"

Elder: "AND LOOK WERE THAT GOT HIM! HE'S DEAD FROM TRYING TO 'HELP' OTHERS! AND THE ONES THAT KILLED HIM!? THEY WERE HUNTERS! THEY WILL LIE, CHEAT, AND STEAL FOR THEIR OWN PLEASURE! YOU ARE ONE AS WELL! YOU'VE KILLED COUNTLESS PEOPLE IN THE NAME OF JUSTICE!" The Elder screamed at Azrael with abhorrence. "This meeting is dismissed!" The Elder tried to dismiss the meeting, but everyone stayed. Mike grabbed the Elder shoulder keeping him in place. Azrael then spoke in a low voice, but not a single person had to strain their hearing to hear what he was saying.

Azrael: "Logan was the first one to spot it. He counted the types, number, and even figured out how long it will take them to reach here." The Elder tried to interrupt but Mike started to put pressure on the Elder's shoulder. "He is currently out there watching them as we speak. Two of my colleges are there with him laying traps and planing an ambush to weaken their fighting strength. They are risking their lives to keep people safe. Logan is the embodiment of several old sayings, but one stands out more then the rest, 'A hero needs not speak; for when he is gone, the world speaks for him. The courage he brings forth inspires others to do the same, even after he is gone.' That is why he gave me a mission. One he knew that I could do." Azrael's voice started to grow with volume. "He asked me to protect this town! To make sure that the people are safe and sound while he is out there fighting! He is willing to jump straight into hell for those he cares about! I willing to do the same! But that's not what he wants me to do, he wants me to have his home evacuated for safety while he fights so that no one gets hurt!" His voice turned somber and pleading. "I ask you all! Please trust Logan!" Azrael finished and bowed his head. The Elder went to speak but soon heard one voice after another, then the whole town. All agreeing to trust Logan. 'A simple lie, but one they need to hear.'

Azrael: "Thank you!" Azrael spoke, on the verge of tears. He hurriedly composed himself and continued. "We don't have much time! The old and sick will walk up front to set the pace for the rest of us! A third of the guards will be behind them to keep them safe and to protect the sides! Those that can't fight are in the middle with another third of the guards! The end of the group will be the last of the guards. I will walk behind everyone and make sure no one is left behind! Use the horses and oxen to help carry supplies and those who can't walk! We Leave in 30 minutes! Our destination is Kuo Kuana!" The Elder was aghast at how he was overthrown, for he was basically the mayor of this town for many, many years. Now his words mean nothing, he could only follow now that this has happened.
