Cathleen Knight

[TAKES PLACE IN PAST - CATHLEEN KNIGHT]

As the moon began to push the sunset away, it began to become colder. The pink cherry trees moved against the rough, wild winds. Leaves from the pink trees fell and littered the floor.

A young teen with a short blunt brown hair slept soundly under the Cherry trees. She was covered in the pink blossoms that tickled her nose.

"Achoo!" She sneezed. The Cat Faunus sat up. She hadn't realized she let her guard down so easily.

"Looks like you won't be missing the party, Cathleen." The red haired man stated dryly as he saw the brunette slowly wake from her catnap. He shoved the end of his covered sword at her face like he had the intent to stab her.

Younger Cathleen would have flinched and would be pissed off. Now Cathleen would just be pissed off. The Cat Faunus gripped the end of the sword so she could pull herself up. Her ears then twitched; there was a loud rumbling sound. A train.

"Adam." But Cathleen didn't have to say anything else. The red haired man known as Adam out his sword back on his belt. Cathleen's brown eyes was focused on Adam, she didn't want to be behind him when he moved.

"Cathleen, I know what you're thinking. Don't try to catch up with me you'll get killed." Adam warned in a dark tone. "I'll make sure your on the train with me." He added then without warning dashed for the train.

Cathleen stood shock for about two seconds. She immediately followed after. 'Damn it! Two seconds too late!' She scolded herself as she tried to maneuver her way out of the forest she was in.

Adam effortlessly jumped into the train without looking back at Cathleen. The young teen ran after him not wanting to be left behind again. The train picked up speed and Adam seem to get farther away from her.

"A- Adam!!!" Cathleen screamed after him but the red haired man just adjusted his masked without turning to her. Soon Cathleen's legs gave out causing her to fall. All she saw was Adam's back as the train chugged off. Her brown eyes became glossy, Cathleen immediately covered her face.

"Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry." She repeated not wanting to attract Grimm. "...Don't cry..." She chokes feeling something in her throat. Her brown ears twitched, then the sound of thunder filled the sky. Heavy rain followed after.

"GRRRRRRRR" The sound came from behind Cathleen. The cat Faunus turned her head slowly around to see a giant Beowolf who's mouth was wide open. Cathleen immediately activated her Aura blocking the attack.

The Cat Faunus then opened up the small metal box on her lower back. She pulled out two metal gauntlets that were sharp at the end.

"AGHHH!!" She screamed as she punched upwards using her left hand. Long claws that came out of the end of the left gauntlet cutting off the Beowolf's head. It let out a pain groan but then dispersed.

Suddenly another Beowolf - bigger than the last one, charged unexpectedly. Cathleen flew into a tree, breaking it. Her Aura flickered but did not go out.

She could heat Adam yelling at her, "Focus Cathleen!" But when she opened her eyes nobody was with her except the Big Beowolf.

"If I could beat your friend, what makes you think you'll win?" She asked glaring. The Beowolf responding by yelling, calling his 'friends.' Cathleen gulped as she saw a hoard of Beowolves. "Oh... that's how..." She swiftly dodged the Beowolves swipes. When one finally managed to swipe at her thigh she screamed.

-CRACK!-

Her Aura was broken. Blood stained her dark long socks and the grassy terrain. Cathleen was going to pass out in any moment.

"Hey! Look over here ugly!" A man yelled as he swung his sword. A women then snuck behind the distracted Grimm to get to Cathleen. The Cat Faunus flinched when she touched her.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I'm a Huntress." She said in a soothing voice. "Calm down..." Cathleen closed her eyes - too tired to put up a fight.
