3 The Orphanage

It's been a couple of weeks since I've reincarnated my HMM law is complete and embedded in my right arm which created some weird tattoo which low key looks kinda cool. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this but I'm missing a left arm and my right eye doesn't work I know I asked for Hajime's body but this is not what I was expecting.

My right eye is covered by a little rag I never noticed because I always use 'Magic Sense' out of habit and my left arm is covered by a small mechanical arm which is literal nuts and bolts, crafting the HMM law took a lot out of me so it took me a while to notice.

But in my inventory, I have the arm and artificial eye Hajime used so I can replace them soon I just need to adjust my body size I already have a plan for this which is to craft the 'Magical Body' which will allow me to change my body at will I can be 30 or 10 whatever I want.

The only drawback is it's gonna take a little less than three years if I want a proper one that is.

Now that all that is done I need to focus on something far more important my cool new name I already have something in mind I think 'Asher Silverman' sounds slick and it matches my white hair, I also need a name for my Beta form because I want Alpha and Beta to appear as two different people I think out of respect for using this body I'll just call Beta Hajime Nagumo.

I also need to craft some magical skills that'll keep me alive since my regeneration is restricted and I'll need some large scale magic for emergencies but it's gonna cost a lot.

As Asher was contemplating his plans the door to his room slams open and a middle-aged black-haired Faunus walks through and says " Alright Brats get up its time to eat. After you eat head outside for daily training " he then walks out using his tail to close the door.

I look around at the other beds and see the other kids stretching, making their beds preparing to-go-to breakfast so I follow suit and follow the other out the room to eat the 'Healthy' breakfast prepared for us, I just shove it down my throat as fast as possible cause it reminds me of when I watched 'RWBY' and Ren would make those 'Healthy' shakes but worse.

After eating we head out to the front yard and the caretaker teaches basic swordsmanship and close-quarter combat for an hour he would go around assisting people after that we would spar with each other normally this is where I would get bullied then show some heaven-defying sword technique and say some overbearing line like ' Only I shall decide my fate' of ' I am the only king in this world' but actually we all get along very well probably because of that 'Healthy' breakfast we all come together to share the pain.*Sniff*

After that everyone is free except for chore rotation which I'm free of since I push off my work to the scrubs, I need to train my body to challenge the Caretaker because he made a rule that you're not allowed to leave the orphanage unless you defeat him or turn eighteen.

So in three years, I have to defeat the caretaker then I can leave the orphanage which is gonna be a breeze.

But I'll still need daily training because I discovered that the mana levels in this world are very small instead there's a different energy that's used by the residents to activate and use 'Aura'

Since the mana is so thin I'll have to sit and meditate for hours a day rotating 'Mana Conversion' to turn this unique energy into mana but only a limited quantity, I thought I could use mana freely but I'll need to find a solution, for now, I can't use magic I can only use it as a trump card or for party tricks like Aqua from konosuba.

Another problem is the HMM law right now there are no problems but I'll have to place some limiters on it because the laws are a higher existence weapon and a Monster-human hybrid can't handle that type of pressure so the law after mana exposure will start to spread corruption through my body but I have a simple solution which is don't use it for now at least.

But I need a lot of mana for the 'Magical Body' so I need a quick solution for mana, I think dust is a viable solution for a large supply of mana but I'll need to experiment with this.
