Chap 32) The bug part 2

Rising to the top floor, Kiana scanned the room of hostiles as she exited the elevator. Sensing that someone was nearby, Kiana smirked as she knew who it was.

"Come out I know your there, there's no use hiding from me." (Kiana)

Hearing this, Cinder already knew that she was found out, getting out of cover, Cinder stood before Kiana.

Time passed as the pair locked eyes with one another. Without any warning, the 2 started to fight. Moving at speeds unseen by the naked eye, both Kiana and Cinder traded blows after blow. Each blow dealt produced a shockwave, glass vs technique, semblance vs skills, Aura and magic vs draconic and immortal energy. Both of them fought evenly as each strike negated the other, arrows were blown out of the air as Ki blasts blew up.

"Boom*"

With 1 fell strike, both combatants dealt a deadly blow causing one another to be forced backwards. Cinder starred with hatred as she knew that in such an environment, Kiana had an edge with her technique. Not only that, she knew that she had many other trump cards including the sword and amour she has.

Knowing that the bug was already placed inside the servers, Cinder only had one choice. That was to retreat and fight on another day.

Raising her hand, Cinder immediately used her half maiden power as she forced multiple glass lances filled with magic into existence.

"Swish*"

At her command, the lances flew towards Kiana.

"Boost!" (Boosted gear)

Seeing the lances and feeling their power, Kiana knew she could not do anything. Using her will, she summoned the boosted gear as she charged her fists and released a defensive technique she learnt from Azure, known as void sakura petals. Sakura petals flew from her palm and met the lances. Upon contact each lance was sucked into the petals as if they were a black hole.

Looking at them dissapear, Kiana knew that the treat had been dealt with. Looking around in search of the assailent, Kiana was only met by silence.

Apparently upon launching the lances, Cinder blew open one of the windows and escaped. This apparently had alerted General Ironwood whom was on the way towards the tower alongside Ozpin and Glynda.

"WELL IT SEEMS THAT SHE ESCAPED." (Draig)

"Know what she wanted?" (Kiana) asking.

"NOT SURE BUT SINCE ITS HERE..... BRING ME TO THE NEAREST COMS MAYBE I CAN FIND OUT." (Draig)

Walking towards the nearest com, Kiana placed the boosted gear onto the com and in turn scanned the servers.

"Didnt know you could do coding." (Kiana)

"WELL ME NEITHER, BUT THE SYSTEMS IN REMNANT ARE MORE DUST THEN HARDWARE SO I STILL HAVE SOME FORM OF CONTROL WITH ENERGY MANIPULATION... AND THERE FOUND IT THERES A VIRUS INSIDE THE TOWER." (Draig)

"Know what it does?" (Kiana)

"WELL IT SEEMS TO BE A SYSTEM CONTROL BUG.... WANT ME TO DESTROY IT?" (Draig)

Hearing this, Kiana started to ponder about something before smirking.

"Leave it but add in a bug that gives us admin control over it." (Kiana)

"WHY WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING PARTNER?" (Draig)

"Since they wish to play foul, then let us play foul against them." (Kiana)

"...WELL THATS NOT THE WORST IDEA YOU CAN COME UP WITH...." (Draig)

After placing updated malware inside the server, Kiana leaped from the exit as she exited the tower in the dark of night.

As for General Ironwood, Glynda and Ozpin. All they saw was the broken glass window and nothing else.

...Back at the ballroom changing room...

Reaching the changing room, Cinder released her stealth dress as she walked towards the crowd. Now instead of wearing a black tightsuit, she wore a black dress.

Moving pass the crowd, she finally found her dance partner, Mercury. However he was dancing with Emerald.

"Oh. May i cut in?" (Cinder)

Looking at Cinder, Emerald immidietly released her grip of Mercury and moved aside.

"Of course." (Emerald)

Holding onto her, Mercury and Cinder started to dance with one another.

"So how was your night tonight?" (Mercury) asking.

"Hmm... a little more exciting then expected." (Cinder)

"Should we be worried?" (Mercury) saying with a some concern.

"Hardly. They will be long scratching their heads long after we've finished with what we came for." (Cinder)

"So then. What now?" (Mercury)

"Now. We enjoy ourselves. It is a party after all." (Cinder)

With that said, Cinder sniggered to herself as she enjoyed the dance alongside the others.

.....Kiana POV......

Leaving the tower, Kiana decided that enough was enough for today as she wanted to tease the others more.

Reaching the balcony of the ballroom, she entered and when looking around, was greeted by Jaune whom was sandwitched by 3 girls.

"....So whose gonna be the first wife?" (Kiana)

"Me!" (Pyrrha, Melanie, Miltia)

Hearing Kianas question, the 3 girls answered similtanously. Looking at one another, the girls started to bicker amongst themselves.

Laughing, Kiana and Draig just laughed at Jaunes predicament as both of them mentally knew what Kiana was about to continue with Jaune. Leaving the girls to their bickering, Jaune and Kiana left for the balcony where they talked for awhile before entering.

Upon entry, Jaune and Kiana were greeted by the 3 girls and upon asking who was gonna be the first, they all agreed that the first person will be his first time. With that said, Jaune started to run as the girls started to chase after him. This resulted in the whole ballroom breaking out in laughter.
