23 Chap 21.5) The past part 2

"Brother are you sure? Her soul is already damaged and her body destroyed and dead. If you revive her, she will receive the negative karma from the afterlife." (Crimson)

"There is a way to save her. But we will need a few materials to help the reconstruction." (Azure)

Currently flying through the void, Azure and Crimson were heading towards one of the locations to find the materials for Kianas new body.

Although these 2 beings were considered peak existence, they knew the downfall of having negative karma from the afterlife. Although regular karma may cause some luck difference, the negative karma will ensure death no matter what. In simplier terms, if your marked by the afterlife, it will do whatever it can to drag you from where you escape.

This was the prime principle of reviving someone. You can only do so if the soul is contained. But in Kianas case, her soul was already en-route to the afterlife and in without a vassal, it was severely fragmented. Although Azure and Crimson were able to place Kianas destroyed body into deep cryo, they could do nothing as she stood in a very precarious spot. One wrong move may cause her to permanently fall into the afterlife.

"But still Azure where are we supposed to go to?" (Crimson)

"...Were gonna get Kiana something to help complete and monitor her soul." (Azure)

"He Partner it seems that we have been beaten." (???)

'INDEED FRIEND WE HAVE FOUGHT FOR SO LONG TOGETHER. IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU.' (Draig)

Looking into the blue eyes of his foe, the current red dragon emperor laid there lifelessly on the cliffs. Even at the doors of death, fervour, courage and the pride of man could still be seen in his bloodied eyes. This current partner of Draig although not the strongest of his partners, could be considered the wisest. Instead of letting power take over and seek revenge, this man saw his enemies as friends instead and fought against them always happy and with a smile.

'DRAIG YOUR PARTNER HAS ALREADY LOST, YOUR ONLY CHANCE IS THE JUGGERNAUGHT DRIVE. SOMETHING YOUR PARTNER HAS YET USED.' (Albion)

'THATS THE THING ALBION, MY PARTNER DOES NOT NEED IT.' (Draig)

"Hahaha if were going out lets do it with a bang. You ready Draig?" (???)

'YUP LETS DO IT PARTNER IF WERE GONNA DIE LETS DO IT LIKE A DRAGON WOULD DO IT.' (Draig)

"HAHA lets do it Albion although you may have won this generation let our battle be written with our actions not words and as the japanese have said KAMEKAZIE....." (???)

'HAHAHA ALBION TIME TO SHOW YOU THE TRUE STRENGTH OF MY PARTNER!' (Draig)

Upon saying so, he used all his remainding strength and formed wings on his back. With little to no strength left he flew for Albion. Drawing his life, he concentrated it all into his heart, causing him to glow in a deep red.

'OH NO PARTNER USE THE JUGGERNAUGHT DRIVE! HIS USING A COUNTER BOMB TO DIVINE DEVIDE!' (Albion)

"Hahaha too late, as i have said we are going out with a bang." (???)

Saying so, he reached Albions user and held onto him. Although Albion current partner tried to knock him away, he still maintained his vice grips and before he exploded, he looked to th skies for one last time and smiled.

"What a nice day to die." (???)

"BOOM!"

A loud explosion occured and looking at the destruction, one would think that a few cruisers unloaded all their munitions on the cliff as it was totally gone. With no signs of life, both the red and white dragons were killed.

....Boosted gear soul realm...…..

'INDEED MY FRIEND.... IT WAS A GOOD DAY TO DIE....' (Draig)

Looking around, Draig only noticed the lifeless looks of his previous users and to the corner, the hut which resided his 2 strongest users. No signs of his current partner. Through this, he knew that his partner not only used his life but soul to empower the blast.

'IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU.' (Draig)

"So your the red dragon emperor that has the power to rival god." (Azure)

'???" (Draig)

Hearing a voice behind him, Draig looked behind only to see 2 males wearing strange cloths behind him. Looking at them, the first question he wanted to ask was, who were they and how were they in the soul realm?

'WH' (Draig)

"Hold it, names Azure. I'm the peak existence of the 9 realms from a alternate world." (Azure)

'HAHAHA SO, WHAT DOES A PEAK EXISTENCE WANT WITH ME?' (Draig)

"Your not suprised." (Crimson)

'HOW CAN I NOT BE, YOUR AURA AND PRESENCE IS SOMETHING I HAVE NOT SEEN BEFORE. IN ADDITION TO THAT YOUR POWER SEEMS TO BE MANY TIMES GREATER THEN THE BASTARD GOD THAT LOCKED ME HERE.' (Draig)

"Alright since thats taken care of, i would like to propose to you a deal." (Azure)

'HOH AND WHAT IS THAT DEAL?' (Draig)

"I will give you a physical body and release you from your gear alongside releasing the other souls here. All i ask is that you be my daughters sacred gear and summoned guardian. When not needed you can travel to other galaxies but when needed, you will instantly be transported back to the gear and help her. Also you will have a soul connection so you can talk, transfer and help control her power at a distance." (Azure)

'SOUNDS LUCRATIVE ENOUGH, WHY DO YOU WANT HAVE A DEAL AS SUCH? YOU KNOW THAT WITH YOUR POWERS IM NO MATCH AS IN MY CURRENT STATUS AND YOU CAN FORCIBLY CONTRACT ME WITH YOUR DAUGHTER.' (Draig)

"Thats the thing, she is half dead and i'll need you to help complete and recover her soul. A forced contract would be detrimental if thats the case. So i'm proposing a deal instead.' (Draig)

'....ALRIGHT I AGREE WITH IT. BUT BEFORE THAT CAN YOU DO ME A FAVOUR AND CREATE AN INDEPENDENT WORLD HERE? ALSO I NEED ENTERTAINMENT./ (Draig)

"...Why in the world do you need that if your going to get a physical body?" (Crimson)

'WELL AFTER A FEW THOUSAND YEARS IN HERE ITS ACTUALLY RATHER COMFY. ALL IM MISSING IS AN INDEPENDANT WORLD TO MAKE MY HOUSE AND SOME ENTERTAINMENT BEFORE I CAN RELAX.' (Draig)

"...So your technically a shut-in...." (Azure)

'HAHAHA AS EMBERASSING AS IT IS YES IM STARTING TO BE A SHUT IN.' (Draig)

"Alright so its confirmed that you will be my daughters sacred gear. We still have a few materials to get so we will call for you when we need your help with the merger." (Azure)

'ALRIGHT.' (Draig)

....2 days later...

"Alright we have collected most of the things..... pheonix egg, 7 reincarnations flower, gold serum iron.... Well thats about it where are going now?" (Crimson)

"To an old friend. He specialises in this more then me." (Azure)

"Dont tell me." (Crimson)

"Yup its him. Were gonna find the nine realms sage." (Azure)

Flying through the void, the pair skipped past the nine realms as they entered a pocket dimension hidden between the nine realms. In it was a independent land mass which was surrounded by the void. On this landmass was a stone hut surrounded by forests. There sitting outside the hut an old man with white hair and robes, looking up he smiled at the com[amy he did not expect.

"Hahaha what important matter does the Azure immortal have that needs my expertise?" (Sage)

"You know it old man, you have the eyes of time the only pair that can see the future with no consequences." (Azure)

"Indeed you are right... bring the girl in alongside the materials. Be prepared i'll need your help to pull this off.

Upon saying so, the sage went into his hut. Looking at one another, Azure and Crimson followed him in.

"Put her here." (Sage)

Pointing towards the stone table, Azure obliged as he slowly placed Kianas frozen body down.

"When can we start?" (Azure)

"Now, but Azure before we start I must warn you if we do this, she may not be able to cultivate at all. With the materials she may be able to gain immortality but never cultivate. Do you still wish to continue down this path and not try another option?" (Sage)

"I know of the other option.... And I do not wish to take a life of a newborn soul." (Azure)

What the 2 existences were referring to the soul transfer. But in order for it to work, they will be required to transfer the soul to a baby in the mothers womb as a newborn soul can help to merge the body and soul without much consequences. But with this method, they will have to sacrifice the newborns soul. Something Azure did not want.

".....Alright i'll need 3 drops of your essence blood and about 2 bowls of regular blood." (Sage)

Upon saying so, Azure immediately cut his hand and released the required materials.

"Alright first the body. Azure i'll need your help in controlling the materials." (Sage)

"I'll do it, Azure just take care of Kiana first." (Crimson)

Saying so, Crimson and the sage immedietly raised the egg as they poured the blood of Azure into it. When in contact with the blood, the egg started to vibrate very badly and tried to reject the blood but without any resistance, the blood merged with the pheoonix egg. Seeing that the first step was complete, the sage started to transfer the mortal blood of Kiana slowly into egg alongside some of the materials.

...2 hours later.....

By this point, the egg was already several times larger then normal and it it, one could see the glowing silhoutte of a human. This was an intricate process as the sage and Crimson were using the high regenerative powers of the pheonix to recreate a new body for Kiana.

"The body is complete. Now we transfer the soul. Can we have the red dragon come out?" (Sage)

'HERE I WAS LOOKING AT THE PROCESS AND I MUST SAY THAT ITS MARVELOUS.' (Draig)

"Well yours is alot easier since the gear itself is your body sealed." (Sage)

'YAH WELL LETS DO THIS FIRST BEFORE WE START TO TALK ABOUT MINE.' (Draig)

"Alright in order to merge the soul and body, were gonna need to do a false reincarnation cycle. That includes using the reincarnation flower after killing her and merging them together. Red dragon we will require you to help solidify, merge and oversee the healing of the soul when this happens." (Sage)

'ALRIGHT GOT IT I'LL TELL YOU IF ANYTHING HAPPENS.' (Draig)

"Lets start." (Azure)

Upon saying so, Kianas heart was instantly pierced by Azure and both Crimson and Sage controlled the flower to merge with the body. As for Draig, he was already in Kianas soul and helping to oversee the process.

Without much effort, the soul managed to merge with the body and as the merging was happening, Azure used his essence blood to complete the merger.

When completed, the egg hatched and Kiana fell out of the egg shell. Catching her, Azure instantly wrapped her in a towel and laid her on the bed in the hut.

Looking at the body, it was several times better then previous. Her skin had become as pure as jade and bones harder then iron but as light as a feather due to the gold iron. Hair as soft and smooth as royal silk. All in all, Azure, Crimson and the sage confirmed that the process was successful and nothing wrong had happened.

'PHEW THATS THE MOST HEART WRENCHING PROCESS IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.' (Draig)

"Draig is there any problems in the soul realm?" (Crimson)

'NO IT SEEMS LIKE THERE IS NOTHING WRONG. FROM THE LOOKS OF IT SHE SHOULD WAKE UP IN ABIT.' (Draig)

Hearing this, Azure and Crimson looked at Kiana with hopeful eyes as they hoped for her to be well.

....5 minutes later....

"Urh... ahh..... ddaaaa..." (Kiana)

Opening her eyes, Kiana tried to sit up but struggled to. Looking around and saw Azure and 2 strangers behind him. Noticing her dad, she wanted to call out to him but realised she could not. Not only that she had a very bad headache.

"Its alright Kiana, your still not used to your new body relax first." (Azure)

Hearing this, Kiana obliged as she laid back down. But like a sledgehammer, she suddenly recalled the horid memories of being torn, eaten, beaten and destroyed. All the pain came in droves as she remembered the horrific memories. Clutching her head she started to scream.

"Aaaahhhhh!" (Kiana)

"Draig whats happening?" (Azure)

'ITS A MENTAL BREAKDOWN, SHE REMEMBERS THE TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE OF THE ATTACK AND ITS STARTING TO AFFECT HER. NOT ONLY THAT I'M SEEING HER SOUL START TO BREAK DOWN!' (Draig)

"Shit Kiana! Kiana! Can you hear me your safe! your safe! don't worry, dads here for you!" (Azure)

But as if never hearing him, she continued to scream out while clutching her head and spasming.

Seeing his daughter in such pain made Azure hate himself for leaving her. Holding her even closer to himself, he tried to comfort her as much as possible. But it did not help as she still struggled.

.....5 Minutes later....

Finally Kiana stopped struggling as she slumpt onto the bed.

"Draig is she fine?" (Azure)

'I WOULD SAY FINE BUT IN ORDER FOR HER TO NOT FRAGMENT HER SOUL, I RELEASED AND MERGED SOME OF MY DRAGON BLOOD WITH HER TO ENSURE SHE HAS THE FORTITUDE TO SURVIVE THIS.' (Draig)

"Thank you." (Azure)

'AHH ITS NO BIGGY JUST REMEMBER OUR PROMISE. ALSO I FORGOT TO MENTION, IT SEEMS THAT WHEN MERGING WITH MY BLOOD, SHE MANAGED TO PUT DOWN A MENTAL BARRIER FOR ALL HER MEMORIES SO NOW SHE NO LONGER HAS ANY MEMORIES LEFT. GOOD LUCK I NEED TO REST.' (Draig)

"Thanks Crimson, Sage, hopefully i can repay you some day. For now i'll bring her back." (Azure)

"Ah its no problem when everything settles down i'll come visit." (Crimson)

"I'll take this as me repaying you the debt i owed you previously." (Sage)

.......1 month later.......

Since that day, Kiana lost most of her emotions as a side effect and everyday, Azure would spend it side by side with her. Athough as time progressed, Kianas condition grew better as her emotions started to come back although now with a more cold attitude.

Curious as to what happened to her, Kiana asked Azure what had happened and through him, she took up a keen interest in cultivation. But much to her dismay, realised that she could no longer cultivate. Instead of giving up, Draig gave her a method to increase her soul strength and use mana while Azure gave her combat lessons.

By the time she attended beacon, she was considered at the level of a ultimate mage when in human form and a few tiers weaker then Azure in her full assult form.

(And thats how she lost her memories, have draig as a partner and cannot cultivate)
