Chap 11) Now known as the red sky queen

Upon finishing her chant, Kiana was wrapped in a red fury of energy. The energy was so great that it caused immense pressure so strong that even the students at a distance could feel its sheer destructive powers.

But this did not last long as the red energy cracked and shattered like glass, showing Kiana in a new set of amour. This amour was deep red and had multiple green orbs surrounding it. 2 for each shoulder pads, 2 for the kneecaps and 1 large one on the chest. To those that looked at the amour, the design felt similar to the amour they saw in the arts of a past mythologic legend from the ancient Norse legends they had heard of as children. The only thing that differentiated it was that there were no openings. All parts of the amour were sealed by what looked like red scales and the wings behind her did not resemble those of an angel. Instead they resembled those of an ancient dragon, giving off an aura of relics and age.

looking up at the nevrmores, Kiana opened her wings wide and flew straight at them unarmed. With bare hands alone, she faced the nevermores and their king alone. Many whom saw this felt awe and reverence from her actions as they saw this as a very courageous act, one they themselves may not do.

Meeting face to face against the nevermores, Kiana hovered there and looked at them face to face. Smirking, Kiana raised her hand and did a taunting gesture towards them, daring them to come forward and receive death.

"Roar!"

As if knowing what the gesture meant, the king raised its head and let out a loud roar, causing the nevermores to charge at Kiana.

But this was a futile attempt as Kiana managed to move at a speed faster then the nevermores could ever achieve. Soaring through the skies, Kiana let out a rain of punches and slashes with her hands causing massive damage to the nevermores, killing of one of them in the process. As if feeling fear, the remaining 2 nevermores attempted to flee the battle despite their king calling to them to return.

'HEHE PARTNER IN THIS FORM AIR COMBAT IS YOUR DOMAIN YOU STILL HAVE MANY OTHER ARMAMENTS. WANNA TRY THEM OUT?'

As if hearing what her partner said, Kiana raised her right fist above her head and a large quantity of red aura gathered. After a few seconds, a small cannon could be seen attached to her right arm, it was adorned with green gems and its exterior filled with scales.

Raising it, Kiana looked towards the fleeing nevermores.

'BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST!'

'DRACONIC BLAST'

Red aura gathered to the entrence of the cannon and accumulated inside. When shot, all the students could only see a deep red light flying towards the fleeing nevermores and incinerating them from existence. To them it looked as if someone had shot out a meteorite of pure red energy.

The king seeing how strong the enemy it faced was, knew how small a chance it had. Its only chance to live was to hope that it could escape after causing a distraction and hence without further ado, charged head first at Kiana.

Looking at the king, Kiana sighed looking at the helpless beast that was on its last leg. Raising her cannon, she attempted to charge another shot but much to her suprise, it turned directons. It was heading towards the fotress that housed the students.

Knowing what it had in mind, Kiana stopped charging and rushed forward towards the king. But at this point, she suddenly saw someone familiar flying towards the king. It was Yang, apparently she had used her amber celica to fly towards the king. She grabbed onto the beak of the king and started blasting shots after shots into its mouth while saying.

"I hope your hungry!"

This caused the king to change directions mid-flight and gave Kiana a small window of time to deal with it. Yang knowing that she had done her job, lept down from the king and landed alongside her friends and partner.

Flying at the king, Kiana immedietly grabbed it by the belly and flew straight up at such a speed that to many it looked nearly instantaneous. After reaching the lower stratosphere beyond the clouds, Kiana released the king and looked at it with amusement.

Raising her arm, she re-continued charging her cannon while the king tried to reorientate itself to no avail. Giving her enough time to completely charge the shot, she grinned eye to eye before blasting the king to oblivion.

"Well that was a decent battle not what i wanted but still not too bad."

'HAHA PARTNER LETS NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE RARITY OF STRONG BEINGS IN THIS WORLD JUST MEATING A KING CLASS IS RARE ENOUGH ESPECIALLY DURING A TEST.'

"Hahaha. Thats true."

Hearing this, Kiana slowly decended back down towards the fotress and Jaune and upon reaching a few hundred metres away from them, she suddenly heard something.

"Red sky queen! Red sky queen! Red sky queen! Red sky queen!"

Looking at them, she finally made out what everyone was cheering about. Apparently they had given her a title, now known as the red sky queen.

'HAHAHA I DID NOT THINK THAT THEY WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU A TITLE NOT ONLY THAT BUT A RATHER UNIQUE ONE HAHAHA'

Draig not knowing what to say dryly laughed, this was also present with Kiana looking at them dumbfounded.

As the sun setted, Kiana knew that it would be a long tiring day ahead.
