Multicolored Gem

"Shit..."

He cursed not because he found himself alone but because of the army of monsters surrounding him, looking around for a way out he could only see a pathway to his left

Focusing for a fraction of a second he suddenly dashed towards it

* Slash *

That was the sound of his sword leaving its sheath as a huge number of monsters were decapitated by the wave of sword intent he sent

putting his sword back into its place he ran fast as he didn't want to get stuck, fighting them isn't a problem for him, judging by their strength he could kill hundreds of them but he will get exhausted fast

and since then he began running

"Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck..."

That's how he got into that situation as its been hours since he began running and he still can't find a way out

'Why did I think that fighting monsters is gonna be fun after this am going to retire..'

'i can't keep this up or I will be out of energy soon….'

So all he can do was run faster and faster for hope to lose them, and he succeeded but I cost him a lot of his energy as only a quarter of is left

'Finally lost them….'

Exhaling a deep breath Jack looks around as when he was running he didn't have the luxury to plan where to run to

He was now standing at the entrance of a huge room, golden floor and walls with marking all over them as they intersect at the center of the room where there lies a small pyramid shaped platform where a multicolored gem can be seen floating

The complexity and beauty of the scene can probably mesmerize anyone but what really shocked him was the huge waves of energy flooding into the gem from everywhere, hell there seems to be some energy coming out from him and going into it

This shocked him as he didn't even know the existence of this kind of energy as even when it left him his reserves of energy stayed the same

Observing for a couple more minutes his eyes sharpened as he seemed to make a decision walking slowly he went towards the gem

The closer he moved towards it the harder it got to get closer as scene after scene of different scenarios appeared in his mind, there were no bad scenes all of theme were happy ones but that made it harder as you may get lost in them

But thankfully he was a sword cultivator who achieved sword intent as whenever the illusions appeared they would be cut down

5 minutes that how long it took him to get to gem even tho the distance was small, that show the difficulty he faced

'Nothing to lose, maybe this can help me get out of here seeing that no monster dared to enter the room even tho I can see them standing at the multiple entrances….'

With that Jack focused his attention on the Multicolored gem in front of him before taking a deep breath as he extended his hand to touch it

It felt soft as if he touched a ball of cloud, taking it in his hand and rolling it nothing seemed to happen, thinking for a while he cut his finger on his sword's blade before letting some of his blood drips on it

'that's how it was with my swords, this gem doesn't seem to be normal maybe it's a magical treasure'

As soon as his blood fell on it it absorbed it like a sponge, following that he felt a huge headache as a beam of multicolored light appeared from the gem swallowing him in, as the light disappeared all that was left in the room were two swords and a wave of monster that entered after the disappearance of the gem
