16 Chapter Fourteen

We quickly made our way through the castle, giving me little time to admire the inside. I hoped I had plenty of time to explore later. The flooring is white stone while the walls are the light grey stone as the outside. There's hints of gold everywhere.

The walls are lined with portraits and the foyer is huge meaning there are lots of portraits. I notice they are all of wolves in both forms, it's incredible. There's an arch at the bottom of the foyer leading into what I assume the throne room.

I catch the scent of delicious food. Chicken being the strongest with vegetables and I can also smell cake. It smells divine, my stomach begins to growl. It's the afternoon, the last time I ate being this morning with Azaizal when we hunted.

As if he knew I was thinking about him, Azaizal cocks his head toward me, then I realise he would have heard my stomach grumble. I pin my ears back and look away sheepishly. He pushes his hip against me, letting his chest rumble in laughter. I push back against him and follow him as he turns to the right into a long corridor, which could be described more as another building. Just like the foyer, it's huge.

"Stay here while in slip in here to shift and grab some clothes." Azaizal says stopping in front of an open door. I nod and stand still watching him trot into the room. I couldn't help the thoughts of wondering what he'll look like, though guessing he'll definitely have muscles. I was excited.

Then a tall looking man exits the room where Azaizal went. From his scent I could tell it was him. I'm stunned. His hair is a bronze brown colour, he looks between six-foot and six-foot-two and his eyes are a beautiful shade of blue. As my eyes roam his body I notice his muscles protruding through a nice white shirt. With it being sleeveless his tattoo covered arms are on show and they really suit him. To go with the white shirt he is wearing dark blue jeans that fit him perfectly. 'I bet his butt looks nice in them' Ally says in smug whisper. I can't help but laugh. 'ALLY, you can't say that' she just ignores me. I roll my eyes mentally at her as she shuts me out.

I quickly look up when I hear a throat be cleared. Azaizal was grinning and had his arms crossed now. "Done checking me out?" Ally suddenly purrs, 'wow his voice is even better in human form.'

I snort and narrow my eyes at him, glad I can still talk to him through the wolf link, "You wish I was, but I wasn't so calm your ego"

Azaizal mock gasped, placing a hand over his chest. "Ouch, that hurt little wolf" he said sarcastically before flicking my ear and laughing. I huffed and pushed his thigh.

Again, he just laughed before walking ahead. "Now, come on let's get you settled."

While passing lots of corridors and turning down different places, I remember to ask him if it's formal wear. he simply nodded and I was grateful that I had also packed a few formal outfits. We see lots of different wolves in both forms, the ones in human form wearing, what I'm assuming is castle uniform, meaning they must work here.

As we enter a hallway I'm hit with all different scents which must mean we are where I'll be staying. It's very clean with the walls dark blue and gold accents on the borders, it's stunning.

It confuses me as Azaizal continues to walk and goes past all the doors on the hallway without stopping. We turn through a few more corridors and start heading up a small staircase. As I watch Azaizal I just see a smile on his lips. I love that smile, no focus.

"Where are we going? Didn't we just pass the rooms I'm supposed to stay in?" I get no response but he looks back at me and just smiles even more. What is he up too?

"We ran out of space in the dorms and there's still more wolves to come but since we have been together the whole journey, my uncle suggested you stay in my section of the castle." I instantly stop in my tracks. What!

That's when Azaizal stops and his eyes go wide before he slaps his forehead. "Ella, I am so sorry. I completely forgot to ask if that was what you wanted. I was meant to ask when Alessio first asked me but I got so caught up with you and I forgot, please forgive me."

As I glared at him, I could tell how sorry he was that he had forgot. He kept his head down and looked really uncomfortable. I couldn't stand seeing him upset so I walked up to him and licked his hand.

"I know you're sorry and it's fine, you're forgiven but next time remember to ask please. I could have been in heat and wanted my own room, or the fact that we only just met and i could have been uncomfortable. Then what would have happened?" I manage to keep my voice stern and steady even though I hate how guilty he looks.

He lowers his head again, staring at the floor twiddling with his fingers, like a scolded school boy before lifting his head up to look at me when I nudge his hand and lick it again. If he'd have been in wolf form still, I'd have licked his ear as an acceptance of his apology but since he's in human form, his hand would have to do.

"seriously, I'm so sorry Ella, If you want your own room I'll find you one, Um, I think there's one at the opposite end of this hall you can have if you want but I know that still doesn't make it right. I'm so so sorry." I can't help but giggle mentally at his rambling. I'm guessing he does that when he's nervous.

"Azaizal." I say through the link as he continues to ramble. He doesn't hear me and carries on.

"The room can be ready as soon as I....." I cut him off so he doesn't feel like he's embarrassed himself.

"AZAIZAL!" I shout through the link. I try to hold back a laugh as he jumps nearly a foot in the air, quickly turning to stare at me.

"You were showing me to your room?" I question as I wait for him to lead the way. A smile appears on his face as he nods and turns.

Hey guys and girls,

So I've had to split this chapter into two as it is quite large.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to update on Saturday as I'm currently not emotionally able to write. My mum is in the hospital so my mind has been distracted from writing and I'm sorry about that.

But I'll get back to writing as soon as possible. I should be back next week if I'm unable to post on Saturday.
