6 Chapter four

I was in shock and thrilled but my excitement was short lived as everyone turned to glare at me in disgust. I felt myself shrink into myself wanting the ground to swallow me right there and then.

"She's a stupid little runt who doesn't even know how to fight, why would you want her?" I didn't even have to look up to know that it was Britney, but it wasn't just her.

"A runt, Ha! She'll die on the first day" One snickered.

"She's way too weak"

"You're stupid for picking her"

"At least the pack will be rid of a weakling"

They all laughed and the insults continued. I fought hard not to let the tears fall, I refused to cry in front of them. I couldn't stand to be there for another second, so I ran.

I heard the King's booming voice in the distance as I ran, "SILENCE!"

Ducking behind a tree at the front of the woods, I stripped out my clothes quickly and hid them. I shifted into my gorgeous white wolf, the only thing I loved about myself. I had one black paw and i loved it. I headed to my secret spot that nobody knows about.

I weaved through the forest until I arrived and emerged from the trees. The beautiful pool had a small waterfall full of crystal blue water with a large rock placed like a balcony looking down on the beauty of the it all. I climbed swiftly on it and laid my head on my paws letting my tears fall, without meaning to I'm letting out small whimpers. It was true, I really was weak.

"I'm sorry for how the pack spoke to you earlier, I don't blame you for running." The voice came from behind me and I yelped in fright and instantly jumped to my feet, snarling.
