1 Hawkfrost

The wind howled its serene and violent cries along the snow ripped peaks of the mountains. Hawkfrost sighed from the confines of his tent and bundled his fleece blanket closer around him. If the wind didnt let up soon then the snow would pile up and bury him in side the tent, not that he was scared of freezing, but it was quite annoying.

Looking up he saw a black flecks sweep across his vision and realized that he was very sleepy. The hike up the mountain must have tired him out more than he had thought. With a resigned sigh he turned he is body around and lay down against the hide carpet he had lain out earlier. No sooner had his head touched the carpet then sleep over took him.

Waking up he found that the tent was indeed buried in snow as he had feared last night. With a harsh string of words and an aching body he pushed himself into a sitting position and crawled over to the tents opening flaps. Banging the tents side to loosen any built up snow around the entrance he walked out to find that the sun was already beginning to peek over the horizon.

Stretching his cramped body he looked around his frozen surroundings. With the wind and snow no longer obscuring his vision he could see his destination, the city of Lindin, off to the east from his elavated position.

"I'd say three maybe five days", he said to himself.

Looking back at his snow covered tent he thought it couldn't be soon enough.
