"I should cut your tongue from your lips for the tone in which you dare speak to me." There are rules. They are simple, they are clear. You must not disrespect, you must not mingle, you must not be equal. The gap between both rich and poor, bonded with safety if you follow them well. Coming of age, Pak Yian soon realizes that survival is more than fancies and wishful thoughts. Blessed with the gift of creativity, he busies himself tirelessly with his paintbrush and easel, as he longs for a time in which he truly belongs. Oblivious, not only his paintings- but he catches the eyes of the very one he's grown to despise. However, he finds out later than sooner, that he is just another victim of the Rules of Ignobility.
