42 Chapter 41 D-day part 1

The headquarters is in turmoil!

Reports from the marines who are surveying the Blackbeard Pirates have kept on coming!

And the reports are all about the recent move of Blackbeard!

Sakazuki immediately organized a fleet to observe and patrol the place where Blackbeard is going. The person in charge of the fleet is Admiral Kizaru!

The user of the Light Light Fruit. The fastest man in the world!

He set sail on a Navy warship bringing along the other warship for a total of 10 ships.

A fleet is heading towards the Blackbeard Pirates. Aboard the Warships are the agents of an organization called CP-0 and the marines.

This movement is also called the Buster Call. The only change is that it's being led by a Navy Admiral.

One of the vice admirals on the ship is a man with a cigar.

"Tashigi. We're going to a place that will make the experience you have in Punk Hazard seems little. Prepare yourself!"

*Puff*

"Understood! Vice Admiral Smoker!" (Tashigi)

(Kuzan... What do you see in that young man?! For you to be so obedient.) (Smoker)

Smoker didn't know that the Hunters like Mihawk, Marco, and Kuzan are mostly independent. They're staying with the Guild because their goals align and it's beneficial.

There's also a man with a pigeon on his shoulder that's looking forward to the battle.

"Blood... Blood will rain! I can't wait~"

The man lets out a feral smirk.

The Navy and the World Government are on the move!

Finally... It's Time!

Inside the building, There are currently only 5 people inside.

Surrounding us are the weapons that the Beast Pirates provided to Joker, also called Doflamingo.

These weapons were confiscated by Sabo and Blackbeard desires them.

In the lobby. We are seated except for the cripple champion on the floor.

Sitting on the chair is Me, Sabo, Ace, and Kuzan.

It's unthinkable that these would happen considering that Ace and Kuzan have clashed 2 years ago.

"Hey... Shikage, You think he's okay?" (Ace)

"Hmm... What?" (Shikage)

I look in the direction where Ace is pointing and I saw Kuzan dozing off.

"Well... That's Kuzan for you, Can't believe that he can sleep in this kind of situation." (Shikage)

We all engaged in a conversation to wait.

Although it is only the two of them who are talking while I joined the convo here and there. The two of them are really talkative and my respect for the lazy life of Kuzan skyrocketed.

In order to pass the time, I thought about the battle plan.

The plan is to lure the pirates here in the building using the weapons as bait.

Once the pirates reached them and saw their Nakama. It will lead to a parley in our favor.

That's where the other people in the sky that's been floating due to Sabo's ability will dive down and ambush the pirates outside the building.

And when we closed off their way to retreat. It's time for Ace to run wild!

In the meantime, my hunters and I would be capturing the 10 titanic captains... Oh, I meant 9 since Burgess is already done.

As for the RA, We have already been informed that there will be a fleet of Navy and WG agents that are following the pirates.

The Revolutionary Army would be the one to hold back these forces and ideally to deal damage to forces of the WG or the World Nobles.

The organizer of this plan, Monkey D. Dragon is absent. Something needs to be planned in the future. The Reverie. This would be their chance to declare war against the World nobles.

And so, Sabo was the leader in charge of this operation. Dragon-san also asked me to take care of this operation.

As for our forces, We have a total of 8,000 people or more!

The RA alone has 4,000 people. The ACE pirates numbered around 3,000 or more and for my hunters, We numbered at least a thousand or more.

But little did they know that I have my own army besides the hunters.

I'm currently hoping that we would outnumber the Blackbeard pirates.

But it seems that fortune isn't in our favor.

Kuzan removed his blindfold and looked serious!

Ace and Sabo stopped talking and focused on what we are sensing.

I stood up and approached the window to get a better view.

"... Damn!" (Shikage)

I cursed out loud.

I can't help it! I saw the coast of the island filled with pirate ships!

Blackbeard pirates have come! And with a massive amount of men are with him. More than we initially thought. They are disembarking now.

It looks like something is going around without our knowing.

"Fuuuh..."

I took a deep breath and sit down. The others asked what it is, and I told them that there's a lot of pirates who came that are not even part of Blackbeard's affiliates or his subordinates.

We grimaced. There's no turning back now!

◇A few minutes passed◇

*Slam*

The door of the building was slammed open!

We heard many footsteps that are approaching us.

"Zehahaha... As I expected! It's you Shadow hunter Shikage! Also, It's been a while, Commander Ace."

"Teach!! Don't you dare call me your Commander!" (Ace)

"Stop it, Ace! Hold on just a little bit more!" (Sabo)

Sabo was holding back Ace from charging to a large man that has an intimating presence.

(So this is Blackbeard) (Sabo)

I took this chance to stand up and faced the Emperor.

"Blackbeard... Or should I say, Commodore Blackbeard? Never mind. I'll call you bastard... Who are the others?" (Shikage)

After I said my words, Many pirates were in outrage! I provoked them hard that if Blackbeard didn't stop them, The fight would already start.

"Zehaha. Call me anything you like since this would be your last... Men! Look at the weapons around them! Once we take them all! We will be the strongest force! You guys are free to take anything you like!" (Blackbeard)

"Ooooooh!!!" (pirates)

I see... Somehow I can see how Blackbeard has invited other pirates.

"Ararara~ Looks like the situation isn't on our side." (Kuzan)

*Sigh*

Fine. I don't care anymore.

"Shadow hunter! Revolutionary! Thank you for the weapons!.. Do it!" (Blackbeard)

Blackbeard flashes out his big smile filled with contempt towards us!

This guy is that confident in his own power and influence!

"Captain!! Help me!!" (Burgess)

"Hmm... Burgess, You did a good job at finding this. Good work... But I no longer need you..." (Blackbeard)

"C-captain?!" (Burgess)

Blackbeard didn't even take another glance at Burgess and He laughed together with his Titanic Captains.

It seems that the momentum is on their side!

Time to break it apart!

"NOW!" (Shikage)

The four of us instantly moved!

A wall of fire and ice have surrounded the building. Blackbeard's Nakama panicked a little and tried to get out.

Sounds of fighting resounded outside. If it is a normal human, they would've been panicking right now since this is like an ambush.

But Blackbeard simply stood there and didn't even glare at us.

"ZEHAHAHA~! This is it!! The strong ones are starting to devour each other! You guys! Get out of here and kill our enemies outside!" (Blackbeard)

The four of us grimaced because of what Blackbeard did next.

[Black hole]!

The darkness surrounded the ice wall behind them and absorbed it!

This opened up their way and the Titanic Captains left the building to head to the battle outside.

Now it's 1 vs 4!

But we know that Blackbeard is still ahead of this battle.

"Take this!" (Blackbeard)

Once I saw his stance, I knew that the Headquarters of the RA would be in rubbles in the next exchange!

"Scatter! Let's do the plan!" (Shikage)

Kuzan made an Ice wall for the four of us!

Sabo flew away but was trapped by the ceilings!

Ace stood his ground and looked at Blackbeard's stance! He's sentimental because of the familiar stance.

"Pops..." (Ace)

"Ace!!" (Sabo)

"Tch!" (Shikage)

I tried to initiate an attack by using the [Shadow thorns] to bind Blackbeard.

Sadly, It didn't reach and the terror of Blackbeard begun!

*Slam*

A massive tremor/shock happened when the air cracked because of Blackbeard's punch.

The Building was in shambles! Lucky for us, Sabo uses his ability to float the descending debris! Kuzan's Ice was also shattered!

My [Shadow thorns] dissolved!

And our foothold was destroyed so we moved away.

"Zehahaha! Come! I'll destroy you all!" (Blackbeard)

The building collapses and we were exposed outside. I observe the situation and I couldn't help but worry since the pirates are disembarking endlessly.

"I... won't run away! Prepare yourself, Teach! I won't forgive you! How dare you copy Pops!" (Ace)

Ace finally drew his weapon. The cutlass is equal to Whitebeard's and Mihawk's weapons.

He used his ability to coat the cutlass with fire! And he charged at Blackbeard to start the battle!

(a/n: please imagine Ace with a fire breathing technique. Oh, I'm crying! R.I.P Rengokou)

In the meantime, Sabo left the battle to led his fellow RA members and wait for the WG to intervene.

Kuzan also left since I requested him to take command of the Hunters that are fighting the Pirates.

As for me, I'll be taking down the Titanic Captains one by one! Starting from the first ship! Burgess!

I took him out from the rubbles and faced him. My cold blue eyes are just staring at him.

*Spit*

"I'll see you in hell! You're going to be killed by Captain!" (Burgess)

How loyal... He already abandoned you right? There's no helping it.

Since he knew what will happen, there's no point in wasting time.

I unsheathed my dagger, Shadowfall, and [Imbued] my Haki into it.

*Swish* *Splurt*

I pierced my dagger into his heart and killed him. Looking at the dead crippled in front of me, I decided to let him serve me in his second life.

"Arise!" (Shikage)

I used the same method and turn him into a [Shadow warrior]

"You shall be called Champion!" (Shikage)

The huge figure of Burgess was in its smoky shadow form. His amputated legs were replaced by a shadow leg! I knew that this Shadow is a marshall-grade shadow like Tesoro and the dragon.

Oh, By the way, I am just minding my own business here. But my surroundings are at war!

There's a lot of *Boom* *Bang* *Slam* going around.

Ace and Blackbeard's fights are flashy and dangerous since their abilities are that destructive.

There's also a lot of Naval battle and skirmish between the hunters, pirates, and revolutionists!

It's like I'm back in Marineford!

But this time, I can influence the war directly! I will be doing it now!

I'll be targeting the officers of the Blackbeard Pirates! The Titanic Captains!

First is Shiryu! This guy has already escaped from our previous fight. I won't make a mistake now!

And so, I moved! Some of the pirates targeted me. They are just the foot soldiers of Blackbeard so it didn't bother me that much. I handled them easily while absorbing their shadows. This war would likely result in a more Army of the dead and shadows in my possession.

My [Doppelman] and Fenrir are already in a frenzy. I looked again at the situation and we are winning the war.

Oh, I forgot to mention it but the hunters participating are the Pack, Jabra's team.

Pasta Lovers, Kaku's team, and other solo hunters.

Blueno didn't join since he doesn't like the Frontline anymore. He's also having his own vacation with his partner.

Kalifa is at the Gran Tesoro to be in charge of it.

My team, Shadow gear is at Thriller Bark. Lily has been taking charge of it. Raiden wanted to come but I didn't let him.

The former Baroque works' bounty hunters are the elite team of the Guild alongside the former CP-9 agents. So I tasked them to take care of the business.

And that's all... Oops! that was close! I better focus now!

Just as I finished thinking, A sniper took a shot at me. If it wasn't for my advanced Observation Haki, That shot would surely connect!

I looked in the direction where it comes from and I saw the Sniper of the Blackbeard.

I smirked, Thanks for telling me where you are!

Prepare thyself!
