37 Chapter 36: One Piece:Gold

◇New World, Gran Tesoro◇

Chaos!

Pure chaos!

The workers have revolted and they are now engaging the subordinates of Tesoro!

The battle for the ship began.

The hotel was blown up by Tesoro and the civilians are in a panic because of the approaching gold!

In the meantime, Tesoro and his other officers are in different places. They will face the hunters who won the gamble!

Tesoro didn't like it if the show isn't in his control.

And so, he decided to force the hunters to be his slave!

The first to battle is a slim man with a long square nose versus a muscular man who keeps on blushing.

It's Kaku and Dice!

The second battle is at the residential district.

A man that looks like an ox and a man that's too unique to be described.

Next is the battle of the women at the gambling den.

The lady with the glasses is surrounded by the henchmen of the lady with golden armor.

And finally, The battle of the boss!

Two gigantic creatures are crushing the Gran Tesoro!

A golden golem vs a shadow humanoid avatar is battling.

The fate of the city-ship is on the brink of destruction.

Standing on the rooftop of the hotel, A purple-haired lady could be seen there. She is observing the fight between two powerhouses.

All Carina could think of is the collapse of her plans.

She wanted the city-ship too but it seems to be dangerous because of her new partner.

And so, She'll have to be content with the Tesoro money. it's worth is said to be 500 billion ฿.

But the city-ship holds the 20% circulation of money in the whole world. So, the Gran Tesoro is still more valuable.

And now, the fight for ownership will soon end.

◇At the Plaza, Kaku vs Dice◇

Right after the VIP room exploded, Kaku retreated to the plaza but he was followed by a muscular man with golden armor.

"I have something to ask." (Kaku)

Kaku stayed in his place and confronted the man. Dice smirked and told him to continue.

"You're working with Tesoro because there's no one would fight you in underworld right?" (Kaku)

"YES! yes!" (Dice)

Kaku analyzed his enemy. As a former agent, he still needs to do it but he is now different from his past.

He has confidence that he can take this man! He doesn't want to be behind Zoro anymore.

In order to do it, He'll need to accept his DF as a weapon. Kaku transformed into his [Pasta machine] form and the two clashed!

Since the man in front of Kaku is itching for a fight, It is a head-on battle!

Dice durability is further enhanced by the golden armor. Kaku is also sturdy because of [Tekkai] but he specialized in speed so he took small damage from the exchange of blows!

*Clang* *Clang*

Kaku's hoof and legs clashed with the golden armor and ax of Dice.

As a giraffe, the long legs and hoofs are the main weapon of the animal.

And with Kaku's [Rankyaku], It becomes deadly because of the strength, speed, width, and size of the flying slash.

"Take this! [Rankyaku: Ran]" (Kaku)

A massive flying slash hit Dice and he was sent flying!

But he quickly recovered and shouted to Kaku!

"Nice~! KIMOCHII~! Gimme some even more powerful hits!!" (Dice)

Kaku made a troubled face!

To think that Dice wants to be hit, what the hell is wrong with him?

Kaku dealt some fierce blows to Dice. But it's still isn't enough! He decided to use his trump card. A big move, something like the finishing blow.

He went on all four and prepared to fire something!

Dice felt that this is the climax and he charges towards Kaku.

"[Black nose]!"

Kaku's nose, in its hybrid form, is big and square. After he said it, His nose was [imbued] by Haki and turns into black.

"[BIGAN]!" (Kaku)

His neck fires! And his nose ended up hitting Dice who swung his ax.

*Woosh* *Thud*!!

A large shockwave was created and the two battled for supremacy!

In the end, Dice's golden armor was destroyed and he ends up flying. He landed and fell unconscious.

"What's wrong? Did it feel too good?" (Kaku)

Kaku returned to his human form and saw the satisfied Dice. He chuckled and left to find his wife.

◇Residential district, Tanaka vs Blueno◇

Two DF users are chasing each other.

It is the user of the Door Door no Mi and Phase Phase no Mi.

These two abilities are best in infiltration because walls don't mean anything to them.

Tanaka can just phase through anything.

While Blueno can make a door through anything.

And so, Their battle can be confusing because they are passing through the buildings in the residential district.

Tanaka went past the wall and Blueno chased him after creating a door.

Once Blueno came out of the wall, He was shot by Tanaka. He quickly used a [Hardened Tekkai]!

This fight is one-sided if Tanaka isn't running around. He only loses in the movies because of Nico Robin.

Seeing that the fight is going nowhere, Blueno decided to end this using stealth.

He went to his own dimension and stalked Tanaka. Since this guy isn't Straw hat, He couldn't react quickly when Blueno left the [Air door] and used [Shigan] to incapacitate Tanaka.

Battle at the residential district: Winner - Blueno

◇Gambling den, Kalifa vs Baccarat◇

Kalifa is having trouble.

Her opponent's ability is troublesome. With just one coin, She took damages from strange things like bananas and planks.

But Kalifa is still a former agent and a hunter now, She's strong. With the addition of Haki on her moves, It was easy to defend from those things and to beat the henchmen that are coming at her.

"Let me teach you one thing, dear. The power of lucky lucky fruit doesn't just steal other's luck. I can take that luck and add it to myself. Which makes me virtually invincible right now!" (Baccarat)

Baccarat was still confident. She took all the luck of those henchmen and prepared to fight Kalifa.

"My, my, Seems like I have to end your lucky days." (Kalifa)

Kalifa took a stance and positioned her arms like she's blowing something.

"[Shower breath]!" (Kalifa)

She blew and the bubbles in her hands spread towards Baccarat and the henchmen.

"Ara~ Like that's going to work." (Baccarat)

She didn't move at all because she's confident in how lucky she is.

And sure enough, She's really lucky!

"Ara~ I'm Lucky~!" (Baccarat)

Because a man slips from a banana and took the attack of Kalifa. He felt weak from the bubbles.

But that's only the start!

Kalifa unleashed her skills in assassination and kept targeting Baccarat.

The once arrogant lady is no more, She felt afraid of the blonde Devil Fruit user!

Once the henchmen are all down, Her luck couldn't keep up with Kalifa's aggression.

Kalifa looked down at Baccarat's sorry figure.

"M-m-monster... Have m-mercy!" (Baccarat)

"Go to sleep little girl." (Kalifa)

Kalifa chopped the back of the neck and it made Baccarat unconscious.

If Shika's going to recruit this girl, It's better to determine who's the top so Kalifa didn't hesitate to show who's the boss.

◇At the Gran Tesoro, Shikage vs Tesoro◇

Right after the VIP area exploded. I acted fast and grab Tesoro's face to drag him outside the building.

As for how I can move in the explosion, I used [Hardening] to protect my skin.

Then I quickly threw him away and positioned myself for battle. He crashed and landed on the ground.

"Ugh! How?! Why am I kneeling?!" (Tesoro)

Tesoro got up and complained. It seems that he had never been put to the ground ever since he got this city-ship.

"Don't get... Full of yourself!!" (Tesoro)

Tesoro's rage couldn't be stopped. He likes to be in control. And now that the situation is uncontrollable, He's out of his mind already.

Seeing him like this made me giggle.

"Don't ever laugh in front of me!" (Tesoro)

Oh, That's a bad move.

I'm not making fun of you but you can't hear reason anymore so I'll keep it to myself.

I silently watched as he uses his ability to form a gigantic golem made of gold.

A confident Tesoro thought he could smash me like a bug. The large fist of the golem is descending fast on me.

A monologuing villain is still cliche. Sorry, But I'm not planning on going along with your plans.

"[Doppelman]! Looks like we have a suitable enemy this time. Come out!" (Shikage)

The force of the descending fist made a gale. It blows my hair and my clothes. It's refreshing. Wondering how I can be calm in this situation? Just watch.

Suddenly!

A large hand came out of my shadow and block the fist of the golem.

Sadly, I can't see Tesoro's face. I'm sure his jaw had dropped already.

"Is that all you got? What God?.. How dare you make those people, who you duped, become your slaves!" (Shikage)

Of course, I can taunt him whenever I want. I have learned the real truth of the workers here in Gran Tesoro. If I were to lose at the gamble a while ago, I would've become the same as them.

The golem shook his head and Tesoro's voice came out.

"Those people are nothing but trash that lost my gamble. Their lives have changed because of me! all the losers aboard this ship are nothing but my property!"

"Aahh! I'm so angry. Let's go! [Blackening: Susanoo]!" (Shikage)

My huge shadow clone became my armor making me feel like a giant.

The shadow giant humanoid avatar faced the giant golden golem. We have become taller than the huge buildings in this city-ship.

Two huge figures will battle without any restrictions!

""Aaaaaah!!""

We both scream to psych ourselves up and the giants made of shadow and gold charge at each other.

*Slam* 2x

Massive shockwaves hit all the people in Gran Tesoro. They couldn't help but pause and look at the two who are fighting.

Two colossal titans exchanged blows with each other!

These Titans engaged in a brutal fistfight!

After a few exchanges, I punched the golem's face while receiving a punch to my shoulders!

"[Gon Bomba]!" (Tesoro)

The golem landed a clean hit to the left shoulder of my humanoid avatar!

*Bang*

I was quite surprised that the punch exploded and a part of the shadow avatar's shoulder disappeared.

Its arm is just dangling around with little connection to the body.

Luckily, The shadow is a semi-logia so in just a few exchanges, the shoulder regenerated.

But it boosted the morale of Tesoro who think he could beat me.

He unleashed another strong attack!

"[Gon Fuoco di Dio!]!"

The golem launches a laser beam from its eyes. I can hear him laughing at me.

Geez, I should get serious now. Time to shut this man up and let him see the reality!

"Fenrir!!!" (Shikage)

『Come to me Fenrir!』

*Awoooooooh~!*

Tesoro couldn't believe that a huge wolf appeared from the shadows!

And he was gobsmacked yet again when this wolf turned into a huge scythe that fits the humanoid avatar!

*Swing*

We cut the laser beam!

*Boom*

So it didn't hit us but the surroundings.

Want to know how did Fenrir became huge?

It's easy. I used the [Kage Kakumei] to change its size and viola~ one big wolf/scythe on our side.

"Ehehe... Impossible..." (Tesoro)

The golem paused due to how ridiculous we have done.

We resumed fighting but it's in my favor.

We kept swinging around our weapon and little by little we chopped the golden body parts of the golem.

Tesoro couldn't keep up anymore and chooses to abandon the golem and made a huge liquid gold splash!

Making it so bright that the people in Gran Tesoro remember how monster he is.

I left my [Doppelman] and drops in front of him.

"This is the end for you Shadow hunter! See how beautiful my gold shines?! Gold is absolute! That is the definition of this world. Everything is controlled by GOLD! Well, I've become GOD!" (Tesoro)

I watched as the large tendrils of gold become one and it seems that it is containing a lot of force.

Everyone could see the gold around Tesoro. Some of them are despairing already while the others like the hunters and Carina hoped that everything is under my control.

"[Gon L'ira di Dio]!"

And then... That tendrils of gold are charging right at me.

(Kuku... I make people happy. I am the only one who can grant people joy... I trap them... Make them suffer... Tear them apart... Drag them into despair!) (Tesoro)

Tesoro was laughing madly and believed that I can't dodge this.

Hm... There's no need to dodge this. I'll beat his technique head-on

"[Ragnarok]!" (Shikage)

I calmly said this without any signs of panic.

And this would be the first time I have used this.

Purple lightning could be seen around me.

My feet, as well as the others, were submerged in liquid gold. Those liquid gold suddenly turn into smoky shadows!

In the end, Tesoro has joined his loved one in the afterlife.

I can't let him continue his ambition.
