Alaric's world spun as the flashes from artillary shells being fired vanished from his site. The bullets hit nothing as Alaric and his friends vanished into Ethan's world.

When Alaric opened his eyes again, the bright sky and reflective ground was before him. The sky was blue with the occasional clouds, and the ground was a thin layer of water as far as the eyes could see.

"Is everyone okay?" Alaric asked.

"I'm good," Sarah said between her coughing and retching.

"Same here," Barry added.

Everyone looked around and Sarah asked, "why don't we come here more often? We could rest here for a long time."

Ethan shook his head, "it's dangerous for you here. I don't want you to stay here too long. I discovered that humans will change into my monsters if they are left here for too long. I don't think it would do anything to Alaric though."
