I stood there looking at the 18 year old boy , who sat under the tree staring up at the full moon . There was something about him that attracted me despite his tattered clothes , Maybe it was because of his love for the moon , He must have sensed something because he turned and looked into my direction . I quickly ducked behind a tree , luckily he didn't see me . After a few more minutes of waiting , he finally fell asleep . I walked over to him lightly not wanting to wake him up . Focused on the task at hand , I slowly transformed from my human form , I adjusted his neck then bit him , Turning him into one of my kind . I made sure to be gentle as not to wake him .

With the job done , I licked his blood off my lips and quickly shifted back , I didn't want to die in my other form , I wanted to die in my human form .

He turned and walked away , never to be seen roaming the forests again .
