Chapter 165 POORLY CALCULATED

Noah had his eyes wide open at this point, and his mind struggled to process what just happened.

Ignoring the bloodied scene of scattered flesh and internal organs, Noah dashed out of the room, where the unmoving customers had grim expressions.

They had heard the man's scream and the sickening bursting sound, and their mind couldn't stop replaying it in their heads.

Noah saw this and raised his left hand with his palm wide open. Those present saw their lives flash before their eyes, but Noah never planned to kill them.

The ice in the room suddenly gathered on his opened palm, and he closed it to destroy the frozen ball.

Shock filled his audiences eyes, but their mouths refused to make a sound, something Noah found pleasing.

Staying still for a few seconds in order to clear his mind, Noah peeked into the room, and an astonished gasp escaped his mouth at the sight before him.

Clean!

Not a single drop of blood or mass of flesh could be seen anywhere in the room. All traces of the man's exsitence had literally vanished.

Fortunately, he managed to catch sight of what resembled black dust vanishing into thin air, and the room returned to its stillness.

Those were the only traces of Cespian and they had also disappeared.

Whoever wanted the man's mouth shut, had gone to extreme limits to ensure he never managed to spill anything.

The only issue bothering Noah, was why such was even needed.

Jesse and James had mostly been unknown throughout their lives, and did not possess anything that made them different, even if slightly, from the majority in Vonol.

'Why would anyoneone do this then?,' Noah felt utterly lost in the whole situation.

Entire chunks of the matter were missing, he had absolutely no way of understanding what exactly was going on.

He eventually refocused his gaze on the tavern. Luckily, during the mere minutes of his visit, no one had tried to gain entry into that place. But sooner or later someone would.

With a helpless sigh, Noah walked towards the exit, all eyes following his movement.

"Thank you for cooperating," He announced, leaving the bar and vanishing from the front door.

Sitting atop a building where he could get clear visuals of the tavern, Noah watched the terrified customers flee the place, practically falling over themselves.

This sight immediately gained the attention of the passerbys, and soon enough city guards were dispatched to the scene.

Noah felt not a shred of pity for the man that had died, he simply experienced deep hopelessness and longing for answers.

'Where do I even begin,' He heaved a deep sigh leaping from building top too building top, at speeds fairly un-noticeable to the human eye.

He eventually came to a stop on a tall building that stood at the center of the city.

Cespian hadn't been able to drop the slightest of clues capable of helping him, and Jesse could be somewhere dangerous.

Noah immediately felt his mood darken at that thought, and he inevitably recalled his promise to the young man.

Now that James was no more, the least he could do was protect his powerless brother.

But he had nothing to start with, and couldn't give up that easily. He would never forgive himself if he didn't at least try to search more.

Thoughts about the royals being connected to the whole matter sprouted in his mind. He felt a deep hatred rise in his heart, at the mere thought of them.

But even that seemed far-fetched. The royals had no prior knowledge about them, and even if they had sources, why would they kick the young man out.

'Did they desire to hand over his rewards to his only living family,' Noah considered, but soon threw that thought into his mental garbage can.

'Those stingy bastards would never perform such a noble and potentially dangerous act,' Noah concluded, but didn't rule out the possibility. He currently had no way of actually getting to them, which meant he couldn't confirm his words.

Helplessness permeated strongly in Noah's mind, and he eventually spent a few minutes simply sitting atop the building while ideas were constructed and dismissed hundreds of times each minute.

He truly had to give up. He felt bad for only trying a bit, but he had nothing that could lead him to more information.

'I only hope he's okay wherever he is,' Noah concluded getting up. His eyes scanned the city and he could almost taste its blandness.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

Having stayed in Keriele for only a few hours had made him forget the lack of beauty in places like Vonol, but it remained far better than Mariwa.

Noah felt unsafe in the walls of Vonol, a search would probably be ungoing for him.

His facial features were striking enough for all those who had been present in the bar to recognize, and be able to describe; even if they had only seen half his entire face.

He planned to leave Vonol in one go, and an idea inevitably appeared in his head, but he pondered on the possibility of it being successful.

However, his mind provided many reasons why leaping out of Vonol was possible for him.

Picking the direction he wished to travel, Noah counted a few tens of building backwards, that would act as a runway of sorts for him, and he quickly shot backwards.

He needed a significant amount of momentum to successfully execute a few kilometers leap.

"Here goes nothing," He muttered readying himself for the crazy stunt he was about to pull.

Essence rapidly moved from his core, and his body immediately flared with dense energy.

pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ His soul core spun intensely, crackling with bright electrical energy, and his environment seemingly stopped moving due to it.

His white hair gained a yellow shade to its colour, and whole sections of it stood due to the influx of energy.

Rank 1 speed essence remained Incredible as Noah felt his body get stronger, but his overall level remained the same.

His blue eyes blazed with a yellow light, its colour seemingly turning green for a moment, before the yellow within it overwhelmed his natural colour.

Taking a step forward, Noah tried his very best to calculate his speed, but failed.

Nevertheless he managed to gain solid footing on a particular building, a few buildings from what he previously planned.

His knees bent a bit and he leaned forward, almost falling off the building.

Just before taking off; his body flared with even more essence, and he shot upwards.

Although his movement had been mostly silent due the bracelets effects, but the building he utilized as his propeller, almost completely crumbled, only a relatively significant portion caving in on itself.

Noah killed a few tier 1's with his actions, but he would never know, as he was long gone.

Noah felt his environment whezze past him, as Vonol almost completely disappeared from behind him in that Instant.

His figure, which sped around mach four, made an arc high in the air, before rapidly descending.

Noah felt his clothes begin to tear-off his figure during his rapid descension, and Muliix quickly exited his body, to salvage the remainder of his attire.

Preparing his mind for the landing, Noah tried his best to land perfectly, but alas, he remained too inexperienced for such complex actions.

His feet struck the ground with a powerful thud, and the ground immediately shattered, but his Incredible momentum couldn't be quenched simply with that.

Noah's legs creaked in their various joints and he tripped. His body got launched forward due to his mis-step, and he ended up smashing through trees like mere tall twigs.

Noah eventually stopped after traveling more than half a kilometer.

He received no injuries due to Muliix's protection, but that couldn't be said for his environment.

He had created a linear path through a portion of the forest, every inch of the path dripping with destruction.

laying his back on a barely standing tree, Noah laughed his heart out at the ridiculous and poorly calculated action he just took.

He had no regrets whatsoever, after all he enjoyed every moment of the crazy ride.

Chapter 166 NEXT PHASE

Performing a few stretches, Noah seemed to daze off afterwards.

He had experienced the same hazy dream he had a few days ago, and it also ended when the entity was about to reveal her face.

Being the third time he experienced the same dream of sorts, he understood that it wasn't something normal. But had no clue whatsoever of what it meant.

He tried searching for a pattern, wondering whether it happened as a result of what he did before falling asleep, but found none connecting to the three incidents.

After reviewing his crazy action, he had gone through a series of thoughts, mostly worry, but those were normal at this point.

Soon thoughts based on his next move flowed into his mind, but he had fallen asleep before he could gain any real ground on that matter.

Luckily, it seemed he had only been asleep for a couple of minutes.

'Maybe an hour,' Noah thought, when his eyes fell on the path he had created.

The trees had began to regrow, and the path now featured tens of relatively tall tree stumps.

He felt satisfied to see that mana still took care of such things, as he didn't exactly find pleasure the destruction of nature.

He had spent a significant amount of time in such environments during his time on Earth, after all.

With nothing else to do, Noah resumed his thoughts on his next plan.

With his business in Vonol partially done, and he had nothing really keeping him there, he felt it was time to move onto the next phase of his life.

Joining a guild.

Both his maps exited his inventory at that point, and he didn't hesitate to check the large one which he got from Luke's ring.

The map indicated most of the important locations in Cusk, but he hardly understood why they held importance, as it didn't have a description like the map he got from the small party.

Apart from names like the royal city which was situated exactly in the center of Cusk, and the names of the three great guilds, Noah understood not the rest.

From his inspection of the map, he had spent the last three to four months at the very edge of the country.

Even Keriele was situated at the edge of Cusk, only being a city far richer than the surrounding ones.

Moving on to his real target; the 'Divine Lightning guild', Noah felt his mind ache at the sheer thought of the distance he would have to travel the reach it.

Even worse, it was only the major branch.

pαndα`noνɐ1--сoМ The real thing wasn't identified on the map, and he inevitably wondered why that was so.

Actually only the major branches of the great guilds were identified on the map.

His mind searched for the easiest way into getting admitted, and he soon gave up on it.

Only travelling would take him there, but the distance would be too much, it could take him weeks, and he desired not to waste such time.

His mind soon recalled a place in Keriele; which according to Emillia was a faction that allowed people board flying beasts, which would then travel from city to city.

The idea sounded great, but Noah found it utterly useless.

He had better chances of getting to his destination running than patronizing that mode of transportation.

'I could run,' Noah eventually considered. His earlier calculation which resulted in spending weeks was by moving at the speed his body could naturally take him, but not his full speed, Mach 75, which was around 25,000m every second.

While he could only sustain that velocity for merely five seconds, he had potions simply piling up in his cultivation room.

Their numbers already neared hundred, as he had drank some during his journey from Enil.

Utilizing his potions would allow him arrive at his destination far faster, though at the cost of his cores' stability.

He would simply cultivate for a long time after that.

Noah soon approved of his plan, it was simple but effective. He didn't expect the journey to be easy, as there were sure to be obstacles made by the environment, but he trusted himself to handle them efficiently.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

With his thoughts on that matter settled, he focused on another slight problem:

He didn't know his current location.

Although he had chosen an area close to the Vonol's front gate during his leap, his flight had taken him far away from the city's perimeters.

His 3d mental map remained active, but at this point it featured whole sections of blankness.

Unfolding his consciousness quickly updated the map, but the issue remained.

He could guess his location on the map, but, its indication of the city and its surrounding areas was too small, it wouldn't do much.

Deciding to on a solution, Noah's body crackled with energy. He felt free being able to express such a key aspect of his existence. Someone about being part speedling seemed to add to the intensity of that emotion.

Noah performed a quick scouting of the area, by simply running around in no particular order.

He perceived things in slow motion, so he didn't have to worry about smashing into trees during his multiple circular runs.

The area saw a bright yellow streak rapidly move across its terrain, absolutely undeterred by the hundreds of trees or bumpy grounds.

Noah enjoyed every second of the search even though it burnt a significant amount of energy.

He soon left the perimeters of that area to perform a wider search. It wasn't until after a few seconds did he arrive at a path he recalled clearly.

He came to a quick halt and his consciousness unfolded to further scan that environment, and he soon ascertained his location.

He currently stood on a path that would lead him back to Mariwa if he ran straight down, but he didn't plan on doing that.

His maps quickly appeared to float in front of him at that point.

In mere instants he understood his position on the maps.

While his evaluation remained rough, it proved more than enough, as Noah's eyes snapped to a direction West of his current location.

His destination was a large city, even bigger than Keriele. Its name being something that vaguely excited him.

On his way to the said city would be a series mountain chains and exactly three valley's, which spanned for multiple miles. There would be a few smaller settlements too, but he planned to avoid them.

He would then encounter a large lake which was the final hurdle before arriving at the Dragons Claw city.

'I hope I don't have to simply run all through,' Noah grinned, he felt excited.

The new environments he would witness made his blood pump, and the thought of almost getting killed in a battle, pushed him to a state of nigh ecstacy.

A potion appeared in his palms, and he didn't hesitate to chug its contents down.

His speed core immediately bubbled with essence at that actiu. Although he would need to abuse that medicine for a while, his core remained at its best condition currently.

Essence rumbled out of our MC's body, his figure lighting up his immediate surroundings, though only by a bit, the sun still stood high above him.

His destination was the exactly the west region of the nation of Cusk, and his position being the southern side of the nation, he remained a few thousand miles from it. A distance that could fit a medium sized country on earth!

Wrapping his conciousness around his figure, Noah took a big step forward, and he turned into a bright yellow streak travelling at around 10,000 meters every second.

Chapter 167 SNAKES VALLEY

Glancing at the massive landmasses a few miles from him, Noah didn't hesitate to run on the mountain chain as soon as he arrived.

His figure zoomed up the rocky terrain without any hindrance. Landing on a once again horizontal path, Noah's eyes scanned the deadly looking surface before him.

He almost couldn't call it that, as spikes protruded out of the mountains surface for kilometers, but he already had a solution.

Ice shot out on a linear path before him, and it continued moving.

His figure dashed forward at that point, and he never stopped pouring essence into that makeshift path.

A bottle soon appeared in his hand, and he quickly drank its contents and felt his core bubble with energy.

He soon crossed the mountain range, and stopped fueling the icy path. But began to fall at that point.

Cudgel landed on his palm at that point, and he didn't hesitate to throw it downwards; before allowing it grow.

Cudgels figure barreled up in sheer size, and it collision with the forest below it caused an explosion, great in size to burst out.

Noah disregarded the destructive consequence of his actions, and placed his feet on Cudgels surface. His figure turned to streak almost immediately, as he ran down his staffs large structure.

Noah kept Cudgel in a moderate size so as to not allow it get seen by any surrounding settlements. Nevertheless, its figure remained large.

He soon arrived on the messy ground, and Cudgel instantly shrunk to shoot back into the sky.

Noah's mind calculated his current position, and he felt glad to realize that only the valleys and the lake remained before reaching the city.

He had been on the road for two days now. This was as a result of the rests he took along the way. He also utilized those periods of rest it to cultivate his mind.

Noah felt himself go downhill, then a sharp elevation followed, and he immediately arrived at a drastically different environment than he was used to.

Coming to an abrupt stop, Noah felt his eyes widen at the sight before him.

"Immense," He muttered. His eyes lay on a series of hills and large ponds of sparkling blue water.

Noah couldn't sight smooth land for miles; only linear looking landmasses beside a long river of shimmering water.

He had arrived at region called the Snakes valley, and he quickly understood the reason for that.

From the height he stood, Noah could trace what resembled a curvy snake which was formed by the river and long masses of land.

The whole place was coloured with deep purple. From trees, to the grass.

A weird aura permeated that scenery, and he didn't hesitate to cut a blade of grass from beneath him, as the strange purple began from where he stood.

[You have come in contact with a poisonous plant]

[Tier: Below 1]

[Note: This plant isn't naturally occurring. It has been mutated due to the blood of a tier 5 serpent]

pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ Noah felt his mind buzz with shock at that prompt.

The miles upon miles of purpleness was as a result of one snake's blood!

His shock soon turned to excitement. He recalled the requirements to upgrade his dagger. A tier 4 poisonous plant being required.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

The only issue was the possibility of such a powerful organism existing there. Even if it existed, he doubted that it had not been harvested, or even eaten by a beast.

Stillon that thought, Noah noticed the lack of beasts in the area. His eyes scanned his environment even more, and he quickly sent his consciousness forth, but that proved to be useless.

Had the area become an unhabitable environment due to the event that occurred there, he wondered.

'I'll be back here wherever I have the chance,' Noah thought, he didn't want to embark on missions along the way, as they would delay him too much.

His eyes landed on the liquid below him, and he felt it was time to continue his journey, only this time, on a different surface.

Essence moved, and he shot forward. It took his figure a few seconds to near the surface of the river, and Noah felt his focus reach its max almost instantly.

His feet touched the shimmering liquid and he immediately felt his body begin to sink.

'Steps! Noah, steps!,' his mind screamed at him, as he struggled to gain balance on the liquid.

He sank in slow motion to himself, and soon felt his confidence begin to wane.

With each movement of his feet, he seemed to paddle his way deeper into the river, and his confidence took a powerful blow due to that.

Doubts began to pile up In his mind about the possibility of the action he planned to take, but something within him refused to accept failure, and memories of his Incredible feats played in his mind.

Noah's mind trembled in unknown excitement, and he felt about to move, when a dangerous presence struck his senses.

Something large wrapped around his waist. As Noah watched in slow motion a reptilian limb pull him into the river.

Speed essence rushed into his nostrils and he remained able to breathe. This allowed him to focus on what exactly was going on.

During his dive into the river, he managed to ascertain that he was being attacked by a magical beast.

But things turned dangerous when he noticed five large serpents surrounding him, all radiating power well in the lower-stage of tier 3.

Managing to grab the tail of the snake trying to drown him; he twisted his body mid float, and flung it.

Then did his eyes reveal to him how potentially dangerous his situation really was. Over one hundred tier 2 snakes floated around him, which was already a few tens of meters below the rivers surface.

They all barreled towards him not wanting him to get any chance to act, but that failed.

Noah quickly threw a punch towards the swarm, and the power inside that limb pushed them backwards, but they remained mostly unhurt.

Their hisses almost deafened him as the tier 3 seemed to give the weaker ones instructions; forcing them to attack the clearly not-drowning individual.

Not wanting to get pulled deeper into the river for his Instincts informed him that something he currently could've dream of handling lay quietly down there; he tried beating the water around him with his legs while activating the the speed force.

This pushed him upwards, but he soon found that a tight array of snake's lay above him.

How they managed to bypass his senses left him baffled, but he didn't place too much of his focus on that matter.

The liquid around him gave birth to spears of ice in their tens, and he didn't hesitate to send them forward while he himself shot upwards at breakneck speed.

His attacks skewered tens of the serpents and he soon found himself bursting out of the river.

But the environment before him had changed drastically. Noah sensed and saw hundreds of serpents around him, and tens of them held power at the peak of the lower-stage.

Chapter 168 CHASE

Noah could immediately tell that only death awaited him if they actually attacked.

He noticed all this in mere instants, as his figure seemed to pause in the moment of exiting the river.

He felt a tinge of fear spread in his mind at the sight, as the serpents remained large creatures, filling the rocky ground and even the walls around him with their greenish-black scales.

[You have come in contact with poison][Your body is battling the foreign substance.....]

[Your body has successfully neutralized the poison]

pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ The prompt left him surprised, as it him wondering when he had come in contact with poison.

The scene before him seemed to receive a powerful blow as an immense crack literally spread in the reality before him. And it immediately shattered like glass.

Suddenly his Instincts didn't sense hundreds of snake's, and the disgusting swarm before him had magically vanished into nothingness.

His feet landed on the small piece of land beside the river, and powerful bursting sounds resounded behind him, followed by water spreading everywhere.

Noah laid eyes on the tier 3 snake's. Their repitilian eyes held a tinge of intelligence, as their large figures stayed afloat without moving towards him.

They seemed to communicate with their hisses and Noah tried to grasp the topic of their conversation.

His instincts seemed to tune into their frequency at that desire, as he became able to understand them, though vaguely.

Their communicative abilities weren't as advanced as the black panthers', which made for his difficulty in understanding them.

Muliix exited his body to wrap around his figure, but he left his head uncovered.

The beasts noticed this, but remained in their various positions. Noah felt ready to kill them, their bodies were valuable commodities to him. But his instincts stopped him in from moving.

They eventually stopped with the hissing, and he felt their reptilian eyeballs completely focus on his figure.

Noah sensed immense danger at that sight, and he clearly felt his Instincts tell him to run. But curiosity delayed that movement for a few instants, and he got to lay eyes on the source of that mind wracking danger.

A large object burst out of the river, as the tier 3 snake's present moved backwards to give way for that large beast.

An aura so dense that the area immediately got filled with fog followed that event, and Noah felt his body move on its own.

Just before he left that area, he managed to inspect the beast, and his heart almost stopped.

[Mutated Serpent]

[Tier: 3(Peak)]

[Affinity: >Deviant< Posion]

[Level of danger: Unknown]

His feet struck the rivers surface, and Noah found himself sprinting on water, ignoring the loud high-pitched roar the serpent released.

He travelled like this till he arrived at the end of the valley, this journey taking him a whole day of running and resting, as the distance was great.

*

*

*

Gazing at the sheer size of the last obstacle before the city, Noah wondered how the body of water wasn't called an ocean, as its size proved to be crazy.

And after that was an immense wall. It seemed like a smooth mountain had been constructed, as the view of the world ended at the beginning of that white wall.

But firstly, he had to cross the lake which served as a demarcation between the two masses of land.

The lake being almost completely linear wasn't that far across, but it's overall size easily surpassed 10,000sq miles.

As a result of this reality Noah expected the wall before him to be mind more blowing in size that it looked from that distance.

With the valley being behind him, and a small forest separating him even more from it, Noah decided to rest here.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

The sun looked close to setting and he could feel his energy core become less durable than before.

He had utilized over twenty potions after all, and hadn't cultivated that vessel of power much to begin with.

Noah stayed a safe distance from the shore. Although he would be able to escape, he desired not to get attacked by something at the peak of tier 3.

He currently understood why no clear path was made on this side of the country. It being a wild area probably only traversed by stronger existences.

As this surely wasn't a place for anyone weaker than the peak of tier 3. Because to his abnormal power he could easily kill a few tier 3 beasts, but for the average human at his level, that was basically courting death, not to mention the higher levelled danger lurking around him.

"Let's get out of this place quick," He muttered waving his hand, and a large tree appeared before him.

He had stored such naturally occurring supplies for situations like this, and he didn't mind using them even if there were tons of trees behind him.

His mind diced up the tree into multiple sizeable chunks, suitable for a campfire.

Cultivating his mind had proved very useful, as tasks like this became easy to carry out, even allowing him multitask.

Sparks exited his finger and quickly lit the stacked woods. Noah didn't hesitate to unfold his consciousness at that point, before retrieving the inscription manual from his inventory.

He had started a few days ago, but hadn't made any real progress.

Most of the books pages contained diagrams on how beginners were to perform, but he never managed to conjure a shining line since he began, which was the bear minimum to start the full journey of becoming an inscription master.

According to the books explanation, the first step an individual had to take into learning inscriptions, was to listen to the energy around them.

Then when they learned that to a moderate level, they would need to condense the energy around them into an ink of sorts.

But the condensed energy would need to bear the Individual's will in order for it to function as they desired.

That was all that the first book spoke about, and Noah understood it fine, but had never managed to actually learn to listen like the book had explained.

There were even instructions on what thought process the conjurer had to lead at that point, and a breathing pattern which they had to practice in order to calm themselves long enough to be capable of listening.

Noah did all this, but nothing ever managed to happen. He found console in the writers words about some spending decades to achieve it that seemingly simple requirements, but still tried nonetheless.

A few hours passed and the sun eventually set, but he made no progress, causing for his disappointment.

He stored the book and returned Into his cultivation room to cultivate his core, which only lasted a few hours.

'I wonder why i even made a fire,' Noah thought after returning to the outside world.

By this point the sky had turned pitch black, and the 'moon' as Noah called it, wasn't present, nor were the stars. The night featured a totally black sky.

Noah feasted on the supplies in his inventory, and soon found himself gazing at the black sky.

The soft wind blowing on his skin at that view, made him feel nostalgic. He recalled multiple nights like this on Earth, and inevitably gave a reminiscing smile.

Noah felt himself begin to doze off at some point, but just before the darkness of sleep enveloped a significant portion of his mind; his unfolded consciousness Informed him of a foreign presence entering the small space it covered.

Noah immediately sat up to lay his eyes on the entity that had strayed into his domain, and he remained utterly stunned.

His eyes landed on a tall figure around 6ft3. The entity looked pale as even in the dark sky he could see their body seemingly shimmer, probably due to his fire.

The facial features of the existence looked masculine, and Noah felt surprised to find a beauty that closely neared his.

The entity had no upper clothes on, which allowed Noah gaze at a ripped body in a state of nigh-perfection, coupled with the long grey hair the entity sported, he almost wanted to worship them.

The last detail that told this strange existence to clearly not be human, was his pointy ears.

They resembled knives attached to his stunning face. Though for some reason Noah found them quite alluring

The duo stared at each other for a few seconds, as the entity looked clearly stunned, so did Noah.

"Shit!!," The entity exclamained in a language Noah didn't understand, before turning and dashing into the trees obscuring the valley behind them, and Noah quickly sprang up to give chase.

Chapter 169 EFFECTS

'Fast!,' Noah exclamained inwardly, seeing as the entity turned into a blur immediately he returned into the woods.

Noah quickly unfolded his mental waves to pinpoint his location, and a wave of shock filled his mind, when his consciousness found nothing.

Now that he thought to it, the entity had been aura-less, and he had only been able to notice him due to his entry into the range of consciousness. Not even his heightened Instincts notified him before that.

Nevertheless, Noah tried to search the area. Without his true speed of course.

He could be dealing with someone potentially dangerous, and wouldn't risk revealing the only thing that made him different.

But he gave up after a few minutes, as his consciousness found the man to no avail.

Noah quickly returned to his fire, and found that it remained as it was a few minutes ago.

Now realizing that he wasn't alone, Noah couldn't fall asleep, and kept reviewing the mysterious male.

Half of this was because of the entitys looks, while the other half was simply out of pure curiosity and marvel.

'It seems there are truly other races out there,' Noah thought, utterly amused.

If he hadn't know any better, he would tag the individual; an angelic being, as his features were simply too striking, even if their encounter barely lasted more than a few seconds.

The night eventually passed, but the individual never returned.

ραпdα nᴏνa| сom Feeling not the least bit fatigued, for he could stay up for weeks, Noah destroyed the fire, and prepared to move.

But now that an unknown individual could potentially have eyes on him, he felt shy to act, and also couldn't reveal his secret. He would have to kill the enity if his secret got out.

The tingling sensation of potentially being watched got so sensually deafening, that Noah noticed his actions become stiff, and he soon found himself calling out to the individual.

Needless to say no response returned, making Noah feel even more suffocated, and the space around him eventually gave birth to air based spells.

Large spears of condensed air materlized around him in their tens, and his mind didn't hesitate to send them forward.

Thetrees before him experienced a disturbance, as powerful explosions resounded every now and then.

A sizeable chunk of the ground and trees before him, vanished as a result of those attacks

Noah felt tempted to utilize one or two of his more powerful spells based on that affinity, but he opted for more spears, even though they cost a relatively significant bit of his SE.

A minute eventually passed and Noah never stopped spamming his 'Air spears' skill during that period.

At this point he had cleared hundreds of meters of land and a large crater had begun to form in front of him.

From above that land mass, he seemed to shaved that portion of the ground.

Feeling his core reach a critical state, Noah stopped the spells, and quickly drank two bottles of speed essence potions.

He trusted the rising cloud of black dust to shield him from whoever was looking, though only for a few seconds.

His core quickly returned to its filled state, and Noah felt unsure of his next move would be

Silence reigned for a few seconds, as Noah waited for any sort of retaliation from the mysterious entity.

Nothing happened for another minute, and it eventually dawned on him that he was probably alone there.

Nevertheless, his paranoia wouldn't let him use his speed in the open, and he soon found himself crouching to place both his palms on the ground.

Shutting his eyes to envision a large wall, big enough to completely shield him from prying eyes; Noah moved essence to bring his imagination into reality.

The ground rumbled as Noah's surroundings experienced a significant drop in temperature. Ice soon escaping Noah's palms to do as he willed it.

120 SE vanished from his core, to give rise to a powerful looking wall, over 50ft in height, and around 150ft in length.

The wall being 9 inches thick, stood tall above Noah, and a feeling of satisfaction permeated his mind at that sight.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

Quickly moving on to the real reason for that wall, Noah focused his gaze on the sparkling blue lake before him.

His Instincts warned him about dangerous beings potentially lurking in that lake, and Noah felt his focus reach its max.

He didn't plan on delaying his movement even by a milliseconds, for his instincts assured him that such would most likely lead to his death.

Speed essence moved in his body and Noah experienced a state of strength allowing him feel like he could take on anything.

He felt ready to move, when something strong struck his ice wall.

Noah watched for a few instants, large pointy green vines burst out of his wall.

The ground beneath him have birth to hundreds of snaking vines as they tried to reach him, but he had moved by this point.

Glancing back after a few seconds of moving around mach 1, he felt a wave of surprise hit him at what he witnessed.

He watched his ice wall crumble, and managed to make out five figures gazing at his yellow streak.

One of the five figures suprisingly jumped on the lake, a series of vines materializing under their feet, but Noah sped up, and he seemingly vanished.

Only the disturbed water being evidence of his passage.

Increasing his velocity to its max, Noah seemingly parted that lake as his movement was simply too Incredible.

Although spending more essence, he quickly arrived at the sandy shore just before the great wall, and his earlier evaluation about its height was spot on.

The white wall stood around 700ft in height!

Noah wondered why something so large was even needed, but the power of the beasts in that region explained why.

He looked tiny compared to that Incredible wall.

His feet took him closer to the walls base, and he felt mesmerized by its whiteness, prompting his touching it; an action he shouldn't have taken

A series of multicolored inscriptions appeared on the spot touched, and a buzzing sound soon escaped the walls material, as a beam of blue light holding power at the peak of tier 3 burst out.

Luckily, still having the speed forces effects at the tip of his mind,

Noah managed to sprint out of that position, but not without getting his left arm almost completely blown off by the attack.

Pain quickly spread in his mind at that serious injury. A significant chunk of his left arm had vansihed. But he felt able to bear the pain, as essence soon left his core to repair that limb.

'No touching,' Noah concluded, retrieving his map. He had arrived at the back of the city, and needed to know where its gates were.

Noah feared running on it, part because of the deadly defenses placed on it, but mostly because of the protection it would have on the inside.

The city could even possess a barrier that he definitely wouldn't be capable of breaking into.

During those few seconds of Inspecting the map, Noah heard the wall rumble, as a cubical portion of tha structure opened to give way for three Individuals,

their power being something that Noah couldnt face now.

The group of three managed to lay eyes on him for an instant, but his figure turned into a bright yellow streak before they could fully make out his features, or act.

Their dumbstruck expressions couldn't be more evident, but being existence's in the higher-stage of tier 3, they quickly regained their regal composures,S and returned into the city's walls to alert the higher ups of the strange sighting.

The security of all ten gates the city had were immediately beefed up.

Any suspicious looking individual had to be immediately apphrended and questioned.

These were the effects of Noah's first arrival to the Dragons claw city.

Chapter 170 POTENTIAL TROUBLE

Sprinting on the sandy shore of sorts, Noah made sure to keep a safe distance from wall, ignoring the change of scenery.

The incident which just occured had been too close. He hoped the cultivators didn't see his face, since things would become troublesome if they did.

His steps came to halt for he had arrived below a metal bridge which led Into the city.

The bridge stood a few ten meters above his current position, and was used to cross the small river between the city and the other landmasses.

Noah moved, and swiftly crossed the river, before sprinting towards a direction away from the orderly queues.

There were a few trees present, which were adequate enough to shield him from the eyes of people.

Noah immediately understood that the situation would most likely become slightly difficult, and a commotion at the gate confirmed it.

He had crossed a distance of a few miles to arrive there, and the information of a strange figure had already circulated.

Noah watched as a few soldiers Inspected the queues, and soon began drawing people out, before walking them away into the city's gate. Those being walked away obviously didn't like their situation.

Some individuals tried to struggle, and were rough-handled in the process, eventually being taken away, as their power wasn't enough to escape the lower-stage soldiers.

'I need a new attire,' Noah thought Inspecting himself. His clothes didn't look neat, as whole sections of his attire were missing.

He resembled someone who had just exited a wild environment, very odd amongst the neatly dressed citizens.

His eyes scanned the queuing Individuals, and found that a few of them; mostly those at the far end of the line, left their positions to avoid the still Inspecting soldiers.

The soldiers didn't notice this as their full focus was on those right in front of them.

Spotting a young man who had an outfit he found pleasing, Noah began his slow walk towards this man.

Being one of the individuals that left their spot on the line in fear of what was going on, Noah managed to catch him alone, and his figure shot forward at the right moment, his movement utterly silent.

Noah grabbed the man like a doll, and brought him towards a secluded area amidst those tall trees.

The young man suddenly tried to scream; something Noah hadn't seen anyone do in Creagar, but his mental waves stopped him.

Having covered his face with Mullix's dark material, Noah spoke to the young man without fear of his identity being known.

Even without that mask, his identity remained unknown, as he had literally crossed the country, and was even supposed to be dead.

"Your clothes, give them to me," Noah announced menacingly. His tone that of command.

The young man felt dumbfounded by the request, as he froze in surprise.

Noah frowned inside his armour, he didn't like that lack of reaction, and moved to make himself clear.

"I'll ask only once more, give me your clothes," he spoke, allowing the pressure his figure naturally gave off, but had been concealed, to seep out.

Fear and panic spread inside the your man at that point. Being a mere peak-stage tier 2, his natural defense couldn't withstand that pressure for long, so he quickly began putting off his clothes, not minding Noah's unmoving gaze.

Waving his hand to store the clothes, Noah has another idea, and though he didn't like it, he still went on with it.

"How much do you have on you?," He asked feeling shame spread in his mind.

His very being hated that action as it made his pride crumble.

Would such a unique existence be reduced to a mere common thief?

Noah felt a battle go on in his mind on that matter. Part of him felt he needed to take such actions since he still had a time limit on his days of calm. While the other part felt he shouldn't stoop so low as to practically beg for money.

He had enough power to make as much as he wanted if he were in the right place, which was where they planned to go.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

The battle ended in a draw, either part not being able to win, and Noah felt a wave of anger hit him.

The internal strife had barely lasted a second.

The young man widened his eyes at what was going on, and Noah managed to sense a tinge of disgust in his eyes, causing for even more anger. He felt stupid.

The young man said nothing while waving his hand to allow a small bag appear. The sound of coins spreading at its impact with the ground.

Noah honestly didn't expect much from the man, as he didn't look to be a noble or anyone rich, and his hunch proved partially correct.

Noah counted exactly 230 small silver coins, which were more than he currently had, but wasn't anything ground-breaking.

There was also the possibility that the young man hid the rest from him, but his furious pride wouldn't let him receive more looks of disgust.

Noah picked the purse and his figure immediately vanished, leaving the young cultivator even more stunned.

Putting on the clothes, Noah figured he shouldn't stay on the line yet.

The young man definitely had more clothes in his ring, and would probably come looking for someone dressed in his stolen attire.

A few tens of minutes passed, and Noah actually sighted the young man again.

He had a new attire but this time his figure featured three other Individuals standing beside him, and he conversed with them.

Occasionally he would glance here and there, most likely looking for his thief, who was watching him from a safe distance.

Noah decided to leave that gate and move to another one, he didn't want to risk getting caught for stealing.

pαndα`noνɐ1--сoМ He formed an arc with his movement,, and arrived at a similarly looking bridge, but this one had red patterns drawn on it.

Ignoring the gazes he received when he got on the line, Noah queued, waiting to get inspected by the soldiers.

His turn eventually arrived, and he felt his mood darken when the three soldiers circled him and one of them came forward to speak.

"Can you follow us please? We will like to question you," the man said, his hand gesturing at the gate, while his colleagues looked ready to pounce on him if he struggled. He didn't have much of a choice.

Immediately faking a smile, Noah nodded his head, and walked forward.

His mind beginning to provide possible questions and their suitable responses.

The soldiers led him to the red gate, which stood at half the height of that Incredible wall, and a few other soldiers took their place in leading him.

A small portion of the gate was opened to him, and Noah found that there was a brightly lit pasaage which ended at another gate before actually stepping into the city.

This told of how hard it would be for that wall to get destroyed.

Instead of leading him through the other gate into the city, the tier 3 soldiers stopped him halfway through the passage, a black door standing in that spot.

"Please enter," One of them gestured, and he didn't hesitate to grab the knob, opening the door before stepping in.

Feeling a change in the density of space, Noah found himself inside a brightly lit room with exactly 11 Individuals inside it, all men.

A smile suddenly cracked on Noah's face when he noticed a detail that told him he could potentially be in big trouble.

The heads of the individuals featured mostly black hair with shades of grey. And he stood apart by having completely white hair. This meant the peak tier 3 cultivators had noticed that feature in the mysterious Individual.

'I guess I should have stayed away for a day or two,' he facepalmed himself inwardly, but his smile remained.
