Dungeons and such appear one after another throughout the world, giving off terror to people live near it. If not cleared or conquered monsters swarm from such places destroying and devouring everything to nothingness.
Mysterious lands appear one after another, forest of illusions, forest of poison, sea of blood, endless mist, thunderstorm islands, burning islands, frozen forest, blood forest and many other mysterious lands. Resulting in a great change upon the worlds ecosystem and structure.
Dragons and other mythical creatures of legends and fiction's appear out of nowhere installing fear upon people. Monster and beast of various sizes and appearance walk upon the earth spreading terror and massacre in their path.
Destroyed cities, fallen countries and death became a common occurrence for the worlds inhabitants. The era of peace had long been a fairytale of the past, the world turning into a game might be an understatement for describing the new world era.
A system like interface was shared to every living being inhabitant. Giving people the chance to fight back and become stronger by killing other living beings.

There are no longer any clear-cut borders or even nations, the only semblance of order left is enforced by the self proclaimed rulers.
Heroes and villains appear one after another people begun to worship such people follow them and serve them. As everyone wanted to survive in this new world, as the world's rule's flipped.
Government? Is nothing but a forgotten tale of the past era. Old weapons were treated as toys nuclear weapons and such was destroyed during the first day.
Human rights? Is that a joke word? Mercy? Weak doesn't have the right to live. A world of a eater and to be eaten. The strong triumph the weak die. If you have power, you're practically treated as a god. If you have the charisma you would be treated as a ruler.
Normal people begun to show their talent's incredible traits was shown upon some lucky people. Their were also those that work hard to become stronger, gathering skill books and items to increase there strength and power.
Before the apocalypse people that were nothing but ordinary civilian's rise in power. No prestige. No strength. No fame. They lived the same boring routine every day working day in night just to comfort themselves. Now where the strong devour the weak, they live like Kings and gods being worshipped and respected.
All of them are many things now. Some are killers, some are rapists, some are ruthless, some are compassionate, merciless, justice without exception, they are all unbelievable and incredible if not they couldn't have reached such heights. Facing a life and death situation day and night a kid that was supposed to be playing at it's age wield sword to survive.
But even all these strong one's fear is one thing. An army? They could fight armies.
