Chapter 7: Next will be us Deva's.

When Shankar saw the school, which was way better than other schools comparing the environment, he thought it was the best choice for Rudra to join this play school.

"Gayu, this school looks good. Our son will enjoy playing with the kids his age," Shankar this time spoke about his intentions to make his wife allow Rudra to join this school.

"____"

Gayathri didn't speak in response to Shankar and looked at the kids the age of Rudra playing before her. She looked at her husband, who was looking at her with a pleading look.

"sigh... okay." Gayathri accepted Shankar's suggestion to join Rudra at this play school.

"Then that's decided. Rudra will be joining this school," Shankar, with a wide smile on his face, walked towards the office room to apply for Rudra to join this play school.

After completing the formalities for Rudra's admission, Shankar and Gayathri exited the office, one with a happy expression while the other had a gloomy look on her face.

Shankar and Gayathri came near the motorcycle and took a look at the school's gate.

"He will have a good time here. So don't worry, Gayu," Shankar saw Gayathri was still hesitant even though she accepted to send Rudra to this play school.

After speaking for a while, Shankar and Gayathri left the school.

Shankar's house...

Shankar and Gayathri entered the house and sat on the couch. After a while, Janaki and Chandrakanth entered the house, holding Rudra from the park near the house.

"Ohh... Shankar, Gayathri, when did you arrive?" Janaki noticed her son and her daughter-in-law arriving at the house before them.

"We just arrived, Mother. We found a good play school for Rudra to join," Shankar went to his mother and took Rudra from her, saying with a bright smile.

Shankar started to play with Rudra in his arms while explaining how they joined Rudra in the play school.

"Papa... Papa..." Rudra in the hands of Shankar started to giggle while playing with his father.

Next day...

Rudra was getting ready for his first day of school with the help of his mother and his grandmother.

While Shankar was waiting outside in the living room on the couch, looking at the wall clock for the time.

"Gayu, it's getting late. Hurry up," Shankar informed Gayathri, who was inside the room preparing Rudra for his school.

But there was no response from Gayathri. It was like he was speaking to the wall.

After 30 minutes, the door to the room was open. Gayathri was carrying Rudra with a satisfied smile on her face, followed by Janaki.

"Why are you shouting like a crazy man?" Gayathri, with narrowed eyes, asked Shankar while correcting Rudra's hair.

"It's getting late. Look at the time," Shankar showed the time on the wall clock while taking his bag and his motorcycle keys.

Gayathri made Rudra sit on top of the petrol tank of the motorcycle in between Shankar's arms.

"Mama..." Rudra called Gayathri with a confused look on his face because all this day when Gayathri would carry Rudra in her arms while traveling on the motorcycle.

"Rudra, you will be going to school. There you will find new friends and toys to play with. In the evening, I will come and pick you up,"

Shankar patted Rudra's head, looking at his son with a confused look, and took off on his motorcycle.

Gayathri waved her hands, looking at Rudra who was looking at her with teary eyes.

"You can go with them and drop Rudra at school, right?" Janaki looked at her daughter-in-law who was crying and looking in the direction of the motorcycle.

"If I go with them, I might change my mind and take Rudra home with me," Gayathri, while wiping her tears, said. This was the first time she would be separated from her son for a long time.

Shankar dropped Rudra at the play school with the caretakers. To his surprise, Rudra didn't make a scene when he dropped Rudra at school.

This even shocked the caretakers, and they were mesmerized by the charm of Rudra.

They started to play with Rudra, enjoying his cute expressions while they were taking turns with each child.

Devalok (the realm of gods)...

Inside the place in the capital of Devalok, Amaravati, Andrade was sitting on the throne while enjoying the dance from the Gandarva dancers and Apsaras in front of him while drinking drinks.

Some of the other gods under Indradev were also enjoying the dance show.

"Arputham (wonderful)... Arputham..." Indradev, while holding his drinks, was shouting and commenting while enjoying his drinks.

Suddenly, a soldier rushed inside, carrying a scroll in his hand.

When Indradev saw the scroll in the soldier's hand, he raised his hand to signal the Gandarva dancers to stop dancing.

Seeing the signal, they stopped the dance and left the throne hall. After the Apsaras left the hall, Indra Dev signaled the soldier to give him the scroll.

The soldier bowed his head and gave the scroll to Indradev.

Indra Dev took the scroll and started to read the content. While reading, he couldn't control the bright smile on his face.

Seeing Indradev in a happy mood, Deva guru (teacher for gods) felt something was wrong.

"Indra, what happened?" Deva guru, with a confused look, asked Indra, who was smiling brightly.

"Hmm... Guru Deva, today we devas (gods) must celebrate," Indra Dev announced the celebration.

"____"

"What happened, Indra?" Seeing the behavior of Indra, Deva guru asked again, feeling something was off.

Seeing his guru looking at him with narrowed eyes, Indra Dev became stunned, wondering why his guru was looking at him like that.

After some time, he looked around to see other gods inside the hall also looking at him with a questioning look on their faces.

"It's Asuras. They are waging wars on themselves under the leadership of Miralasur. That's why I am happy."

Indra Dev, with a bright smile and in a loud voice, announced what was written on the scroll.

"They will fight among themselves, kill each other, and perish together." Indra Dev, seeing his fellow gods looking at him with a raised eyebrow, said with a twinkling eye, thinking how Asuras will perish.

Hearing Indra Dev's explanation, others present in the room also became happy and started to celebrate.

Except for one. Deva guru, who was thinking something very deeply. Indra Dev, who noticed his guru dev become serious instead of happy hearing the news, became very confused.

"What happened, guru dev? Something bothers you." The Indra Dev asked his guru while walking towards him.

Deva guru didn't hear Indra and was still in deep thought.

"____"

"Guru deva."

Indra Dev, seeing his guru didn't notice him once again, called while standing before him.

"Ah... Indra, I somehow have a bad feeling about this." Deva guru informed his ominous feeling to Indra Dev.

"____"

Indra Deva started to think deeper hearing his guru's bad feelings.

After thinking for some time, suddenly, Deva guru's eyes widened in realization, and his face turned even more serious.

"Indra deva, this matter is very serious." Deva guru, with a tense voice, said to Indra, who was looking at him with a confused look, not realizing anything.

"Indra Dev, Miralasur got a boon from Brahma Dev that his death can only be at the hands of Maha Dev. Now, Maha Dev is not in the Kailasha..."

Deva guru started to explain the boon of Miralasur and the situation in Kailash.

When Indra Dev heard about the boon of Miralasur, he widened his eyes and started to massage his temples, thinking how could he forget about the boon of Miralasur?

"So he is immortal until he is killed by Mahadev." Indra Dev said, which interrupted Deva guru's explanation. Deva guru nodded his head when he saw Indra Dev caught what was going on.

"When Miralasur unites all the kingdoms in the Pathal Lok, then his next target will be us devas (gods)."

When Deva guru further explained, Indra Dev's face turned even gloomier, hearing the explanation.

"Until he faces Mahadev, he will be unstoppable." Indra Dev, with a gloomier voice, said, understanding the situation Deva Lok was in.
