CHAPTER 28

At the Lee's hospital.

Jaydin drives into the driveway...

A nurse witb a stretcher on a stand by.

He quickly carried Eddie placing her on the stretcher.

Eddie is immediately rushed into the ICU room.

The light at the top of the door immediately turn ed red.

Aunt Stella and James arrived at the hospital. Stellas face pale and tears streaked down her face....

Aunt take a seat...James said.

No James...where's Eddie? Where's your sister ?I can't live without her bring her back to me James.

Auntieee take a seat Eddie will be fine ok nothing is going to happen ok...everything is going to be fine.

No James...aunt Stella pushed James out of her way and grabbed Jaydin by his shirt...

Where's Eddie....Stella shouted.

What did you do to my niece? Answe me?

Jaydin had a shock and pale appearance. He didn't know all this things were happening.

He shook his head.

Aunties Jaydin is innocent and you know it. Just take a seat James coaxed taking aunt Stella to a nearby chair beside the ICU room.

James and Jaydin also sat beside aunt Stella. James took a deep breath and asked

How did it happen?

She was shot .....came his short reply.

By whom ? How?

Jaydin told James all what happened from the moment he was at her house to when she was shot and the call she got.

She must have received a call before she was shot. James said.

I'm sorry Jay....Jaydin remembered the last words she said before she was shot. But why??

The light fr lm the ICU turned green and the doctor came out.

Jaydin,James,and Stella stood up and approached the doctor.

How did it go doc...Jaydin asked.

It's successful....Doc replied.

Aunt Stella heaved a deep breath....

But she doesn't want to see anyone.
