32 Chapter 32: A Shamless Idea

Crow Cliff's HP was slowly decreasing as time passed and the puppet monsters were all destroyed. 

"Since you refuse to join the Holy Clan and hand over the information, there's nothing else to say. I'm sorry." As Sky Wing said to Crow Cliff, he raised the wand that was in his hand and started chanting. Soon, there were layers and layers of clouds accumulating in the sky and numerous lightning bolts shot towards Crow Cliff. " The Forbidden Curse — Demon Thunder Seal!"

When Crow Cliff looked up and saw what was happening, he couldn't help but frown. There was a look of desperation and unwillingness in his eyes. He bit his lips and released his ultimate skill.

"Puppet Coalescence — The Attack of the Demon Dragon!"

As soon as Crow Cliff finished his sentence, he was entirely covered by black air. Soon, he became one with the Demon Dragon and the death energy surrounding him, he quickly dashed towards the sky.

When Jiang Ming saw that the battle had already reached its peak, he thought of something and made a very disheartening decision — The Purple Thunderball.

From their conversation earlier, it was deduced that Crow Cliff was a kind-hearted man while Sky Wing was the opposite. However, if Jiang Ming wanted to cross the canyon, he would have to get past both of them. Crow Cliff might not be that big of an issue as both of them were from the same faction, but Sky Wing might not be as easy to deal with. Since both of them were of opposite parties and Sky Wing was not the kindest person among the two, it would be a miracle if Jiang Ming could walk out of the situation unharmed.

Therefore, he placed the Purple Thunderball onto the Reaper's boots. Since Sky Wing was a mage from the thunder series, as long as Jiang Ming had the Purple Thunderball, Sky Wing's skills were basically useless against him and could even help him replenish his HP.

Jiang Ming initially wanted to sell the Purple Thunderball for money, but at this point, he had no other choice. 

When he was done with putting the Purple Thunderball onto the Reaper's boots, he saw that both Crow Cliff and Sky Wing had already released their ultimate skill. Jiang Ming was truly shocked.

Woah… both of them have released their ultimate skills. With their abilities, the entire canyon would be affected. I better hide so that I don't get hit by it.

Jiang Ming immediately climbed onto the Demon Wolf King and started running out of the canyon.

"Hong~"

Just a few seconds after leaving the canyon, there was a huge explosion that came from behind and the entire canyon started shaking.

The Demon Wolf King staggered which sent Jiang Ming flying in the air. Then, Jiang Ming immediately released the Phantom Shadow Technique. He left several shadows in the air in order to prevent directly hitting the ground as he fell.

"Holy sh*t, what the hell happened!"

Jiang Ming turned around to look at the canyon, but the canyon that was supposedly filled with rocks had been completely destroyed. All the rocks around it disappeared and the air was filled with smoke everywhere. There were still lightnings coming out of the smoke from time to time. 

There was actually a peculiar sound that came from the canyon before this, but the entire canyon became quiet after the explosion. Other than the 'sizzling' sound that came from the lightning, nothing else was heard.

"Is it over yet?"

After a while, most of the smoke and lightning disappeared. Jiang Ming peeked into the canyon and tried to see what happened in the canyon.

As he was getting more curious about it, Jiang Ming and the Demon Wolf King walked into the depths of the canyon.

"Ahhhhhh!"

Jiang Ming held his breath as he walked amid the smoke. Then, as he took another step forward, he suddenly felt that it was empty beneath his feet. Before he knew what had happened, Jiang Ming started falling downwards and he couldn't help but scream.

The Demon Wolf King, on the other hand, who was much smarter leaped forward as all four of its limbs flashed with lightning. It kicked around for a few times and finally touched the walls of the canyon. Then, it used the canyon wall to help slow down his fall. When he reached the ground, he leaped aside and caught Jiang Ming who was about to hit the ground.

"This…" Jiang Ming looked around and was stunned with what he saw.

Both he and the Demon Wolf King fell into a huge ditch that smelt like burnt gas. The top of the ditch was filled with smoke, but inside the ditch, it was completely clear. The ditch was about ten meters deep which was about half of the depth of the canyon. It was huge and there was a lot of debris from the broken puppet masters and the debris still had lightning emitting from them.

Other than that, he also found out that both Crow Cliff and Sky Wong were still alive. They were lying at two extreme ends of the ditch and both of them were in a weak and severely injured state. 

The 'weak' status meant that there was a drop in their attributes and the 'severely injured' status meant that their physical body had been damaged and they were unable to move. The rejuvenation potion and medication could not be used until both the status disappeared.

"Cough~~"

Both Crow Cliff and Sky Wing looked at Jiang Ming and the Demon Wolf King who fell into the ditch. As both of them were severely injured, they were coughing really badly and with each cough, they spat out a mouthful full of blood. 

"Hehe, well… Both of you seem to be quite comfortable lying there. Is there anything that I can help you with?"

When he noticed that both of them were looking at him, Jiang Ming gave an awkward smile as he asked both Crow Cliff and Sky Wing.

However, deep inside, he was thinking that since both these level 150 NPC was already in the weak state, they would die immediately if he just put in a little more work?

As the thought began to sprout in his head, he turned and looked at Sky Wing.

He had a good impression on Crow Cliff and despised Sky Wing who was a bastard. Therefore, when he had to choose one to kill, he immediately chose Sky Wing.

Jiang Ming stopped and thought about it as he looked at Sky Wing.

"They've mentioned before in the gaming strategy that when players and monsters enter the 'weak' status, their attributes would drop and they would be severely injured. For an NPC at level 150, both would have thousands of points of attack and defense. Their HP might even be as high as ten thousand points. This means that even though they are in the weak and severely injured state, their overall attributes are still so much more than mine and they have the ability to finish me!"

Well, he had been into gaming for a very long time. Although he hadn't been actively playing them for the past three years, he would still read the gaming magazines and his analytical abilities were still intact. Therefore, he could easily guess Sky Wing's abilities.

"Young Brother, since you have chosen the special profession and you are one of us from the demon faction, help me destroy him. I will pass down all the techniques of mechanics that I have studied over the years and give you one of my high-level puppet monsters." Just when Jiang Ming was pondering how to kill Sky Wing, Crow Cliff reached out to him.

Special profession? Right, he still hadn't chosen a specific profession yet and so his job class was still the same, which meant it was still written as 'special profession' under the profession column. When he heard that Crow Cliff was willing to tell him the techniques of mechanics and would give him a high-level puppet monster, his eyes immediately lit up.

Crow Cliff said that he was willing to pass down the techniques of mechanics to him, which meant that there was a hidden profession there. As for the puppet monsters, if he got the dragon puppet monster that Crow Cliff was using just now, wouldn't it be a great thing as well?

Jiang Ming already had the intention to kill Sky Wing. Now that Crow Cliff, who knew his profession, had openly asked him to join hands in killing Sky Wing, it meant that there was a way to do it. As Jiang Ming was still thinking about how to kill Sky Wing, this was a melody to his ears. So, he smiled and walked towards Crow Cliff.

"Young Brother, don't listen to him!"

When Sky Wing saw that Crow Cliff was getting Jiang Ming to kill him, he started to panic and shouted at Jiang Ming.

"Young Brother, those techniques and puppet monsters are worthless. If you help me finish him and obtain the information that I want, I will give you a divine weapon along with three forbidden scrolls!" Sky Wing started tempting Jiang Ming.

"Divine weapon? Hahahahah….." Crow Cliff laughed. "If I'm right, you only have one divine weapon with you and it has been destroyed during the battle. As for the forbidden scrolls, you only used one just now. If you really had more than one with you, I would have been dead by now. Don't listen to him, Young Brother. He's just a counterfeit of a gentleman. You should know that you would get more glory value after killing him since you're from the demon faction. These glory values can be exchanged for a lot of other things!"

When Jiang Ming saw that both parties were trying to convince him, he smiled and a shameless idea popped into his head.
