2 (2) Tutorial

'Oh, the mission, I might as well use the tutorial while I'm walking to the green leaf's kingdom.

Jake headed out of the building where Elaine was waiting for him.

"Grayson, what type of mission did he give you?"

"Oh, just have to transport a message, nothing too serious..."

Jake decided that if he was to stay with this body, he had to stop acting sus and learn more about the people around him.

"Hey Elaine, it's not because I don't know that I'm asking, but could you tell me where I can find horses? Not because I don't know, but because I want to know if they are still in the same place,"

"The staple is behind the Weaponry section..."

Elaine pointed in the direction with a suspicious look on her face.

Jake then walked to the staple as fast as he could without turning back. Indeed, the staple was behind the weaponry. When Jake walked in, there was an elf with a straw hat and a farmer's suit sitting on a chair.

"Hey Grayson, so, what brings you to Ben's good old staple!?"

"I need a horse that has good stamina and that good endurance," Jake replied.

"I have just what you need!"

Ben stood up and went towards a black horse.

"His name is Pegasus," Ben said, "He is the man you need!"

Jake took the horse and then brought it to the entrance of the headquarters.

At the moment he was about to head for the Kingdom, he just remembered something, he didn't even know where he was supposed to go.

"Umm, hey dude," Jake said to the elf guarding the entrance, "Where is the green elf's Kingdom?"

The elf looked at Jake with a suspicious face and sighed.

"We have to do everything for you, Grayson, when will you decide to get stronger?"

The elf then tapped on the horse's head, and a tab appeared. From there, he configured the horse to head to the destination of Jake's mission.

"Thank you!" Jake shouted as the horse started moving.

'Alright, let's see about this tutorial thing!'

Jake pressed his chest and clicked ok the tutorial icon.

As the horse was on autopilot, Jake could concentrate fully on the tutorial.

"Alright, first I would like to know more about myself,"

[Grayson Hodergard, a young elf of 250 years. Is part of the Isengard guild, one of the most respected guilds of the kingdom. He has a little sister named Lisanna who is the lieutenant of the Gray Havens guild.]

"Oh well, so basically, I have a little sister stronger than me... Anyways, how does this world work?"

[Despite the fact this world is real, the population used what we call a system. This system is called Leveling system. With this, you can send messages, missions etc. This system is what is used for nearly everything, building, cooking, plantations, etc. All this is in terms of level, the higher level you are at given criteria, the better you are at it. Those minor criteria cited above only have the cap level of 15]

"Alright, so what does this Grayson dude do as a living, Is he a messenger?"

[Grayson is part of a mages guild, meaning he is part of the ones who protect the kingdom. On your menu tab, you will see stats, on those stats, you will be able to see your vitality points strength points, endurance points etc. Each time you upgrade your level, you will receive one point on each]

"Well, how do I level up?"

[Unlike other players, you have a special exception. You gain one level per kill, while other players would need several quests to level up. This is why most of the guild masters are more than 1000 years old because it takes time to reach a high level]

"What is the max level?"

[The max level is 3000. For instance, you are level 1, while the guild masters are all higher than level 1500.]

"Ok... oh I. forgot to ask, what is the source of power in light bulbs and all that?"

[The source of power in this world is crystal manas which are collected in dungeons. Once Crystal mana can Aliment a whole city for hundreds of years. This is why it is so rare to find one, however, once you find crystal mana, you can do nothing else but to sell it to the Kingdom's government. Selling it to another organization will result in the death penalty.]

"So crystal manas are only used for a power source?"

[Yes, and the people of this planet learnt how to create what we call mana zones which extracts some of the mana crystals. Mana zones are found in Mana bulbs, Mana screens (TV), and many other things. Even elves have a small mana zone concentrated in their stomach.]

"So those mana Crystals, what happens if we get to absorb it?"

[In your case, you would happen I absorb it and level up by a lot, but in other cases, the small mana zone would not be enough for such an amount of mana and it will explode the person's body...]

"Tell me about weapons and armour,"

[Weapons can be bought or can be claimed up from a dungeon boss. It depends, and concerning armour, it is the same case. Killing magical beasts in forests or prairies can also result in collecting items that can be sold. For example, the most common item a fanged boar might drop is a fang, this can be sold for 10 coins in the market.]

"And what about the Kingdoms in this world?"

[There are nine kingdoms in this world. In the nine Kingdoms, there are three which are called the 3 Kingdoms of Tirion

1. Caspia: Land of White Orcs

2. Faerûn: Land of the green elves

3. Mithrim: Land of the grey elves

For the rest of the trip, Jake learnt more ok how to use the system, and about Grayson's family and friends. Elaine is supposed to be his best friend since he was 150 years old.

He learnt how to use the system as well and also learnt more about the world. At the end of the day, from the top of a mountain, they could finally see the colourful Kingdom of green elves, Faerûn.
