3 Buying Slaves Pt. 3

The moment the announcer nodded at Prince Li, he cut up a small wound on his palm. He groaned lightly and observed as the blood pooled in his hand.

He knelt and offered the blood to the Demon who hesitantly drank it after one of the Knights held her face steady. The leather belt on her mouth has been taken away as soon as the announcer started the spell.

The pentagram below them glowed a red light and the Prince instantly felt the odd spiritual connection with the young Demon.

He pulled away his hand and she let her head down, panting as if the spell tired her.

"And that is the conclusion of the Loyalty Ritual, Your Majesty." The announcer said as he bowed his head lightly.

"My Prince." Baron Henry spoke behind him.

The Prince turned and thanked him after accepted the handerchief offered by the young man. He wrapped the small cloth about his wounded hand and observed as the Knights finally unbound the Demon.

She stood up straight and looked up at Prince Li as if a soldier or a warrior in battle ready to obey orders.

"Come." The Prince said and the Demon obeyed, walking towards him and kneeling down on one knee as soon as they were near one another.

"Do you have a name?" Prince Li asked.

"My name is Lucifel, Master." She said, looking up to meet his eyes.

"Good." The Prince nodded and geatured for the demon to stand up.

When they walked outside of the Ritual Room, the Prince was greeted by a surprised Marlin standing at the entrance of the shop.

The siblings bid their farewell and exited the shop, promising to visit his new estate by the end of the week.

"My goodness, Your Majesty. You certainly have quite a diverse staff at hand." Marlin said after Prince Li introduced Lucifel to him.

"Where are the others?" He asked as Marlin prepared the payment.

"I've already called private carriages for each of your servants in order to avoid some unnecessary qualms on our journey back to your estate." Marlin answered, thanking the announcer as they've finished the payment process.

"Good, but she's riding with us." Prince Li gestured towarda the quiet Demon.

"Of course, Your Majesty." Marlin bowed and opened the shop door for the Prince to exit.

Five carriages waited for them at the main street, gathering quite a big crowd.

As soon as they saw the Prince, the people started to murmur about him and his new Demon servant.

He entered the biggest and most lavish carriage and the two followed suit with Marlin the one having to close the door.

"This day has certainly been amusing. You've done a good job for bringing me to this place, Marlin." Prince Li grinned at the old Butler.

"I'm pleased that you've found what you're looking for, Your Majesty." The Butler bowed lowly.

"As a reward, you can take the next week off." The Prince said, causing Marlin to look surprised.

"But what about my duties to you, Your Majesty?" He asked.

"I have more than five new servants, Marlin. I think I can handle a full week without you." The Prince chuckled lightly.

"But they don't even have any idea how to be servants, Your Highness! I have to thoroughly train them first to satisfy your orders." Marlin reasoned and Prince Li just shook his head at the workaholic old man.

"You have four days until this week ends. You can train and teach them all you like for the moment. After that, give them a chance to prove that they're worthy of being my servants." Prince Li said as he gestured to Lucifel who's quietly listening to their conversation.

"I will try my best, Your Majesty." Marlin hesitantly replied, already thinking of ways he would train the Prince's new servants.

The Prince turned to look outside the window, a small content smile painting his beautiful features.
