65 Chapter 65: A way to make money (3/?)

So that he visits them tomorrow and learns the truth first hand and the news of her infection didn't spread in the city. This were also the instructions of Tianlong Xiangyun, after all she wasn't in a state to answer to these calls and her reputation couldn't be ruined by a virus.

Saying this he gave her a little kiss through the phone for encouragement and then called his new accomplice Doctor Song. The phone rang just once and the weak voice of doctor Song could be heard on the other side of the phone.

Doctor Song:"He-hello, who is this?" He was expectant of this call but also a little a bit afraid of it, after all he didn't know the person on the other side of the phone.

Tianlong Yun didn't care much about how this doctor Song felt and just said in the same calm and collected voice,

Tianlong Yun:"Well done today doctor Song, you proved your worth to be a really good accomplice, now I have a proposition for you, do you want to hear it?" Saying this he waited for an answer in silence, while the silence did her job and the doctors interest increased with each passing second.

Finally as if woken up from thousands of years of sleep, doctor Song said with a weak voice that contained a bit of expectation,

Doctor Song:"Y-ye-yes I am interested." He had bitten the bullet now there was no place for retreat anymore.

Hearing the confirmation from doctor Song, Tianlong Yun said in a roundabout way,

Tialong Yun:"Doctor Song what do you think is the most profitable medicine right now that people would pay millions to have?" He liked the mysterious play he was doing he was looking really cool, perhaps he should do this all the time.

Doctor Song was a bit startled hearing this since he was expecting for the guy to tell him about his plan, but hearing that question he was stunned, what was the most needed medicine right now? Wasn't that obvious? But wait since he said something like this then did it mean that this guy had a cure for the virus?

So with a coarse voice like he hadn't drunk water for hundreds or thousands of years he said,

Doctor Song:"Ar-are you saying you have a cure for Covid-19?" He said that with a voice full of disbelief, like the person in front of him was saying a not funny joke.

To tell the truth Tianlong Yun didn't have a cure at the moment but he had seen the information of the virus on internet and with his knowledge he was sure that he could create a cure in less than a weeks' time. And he already had a plan on how to take a long vacation but he was still thinking about it.

So thinking like this he said with the same calm voice as if mocking the poor old doctor and said,

Tianlong Yun:"I don't have it right now but I can make it in two weeks time, but this product will not come out in the market immediately, firstly we need to sell in the black market and make some money, I am not a saint doctor Song, I am a man who works for himself."

Saying this he waited for some moments in quiet to learn about the doctors decision. In the mean time doctor Song was hearing Tianlong Yun speaking he was shocked, it was true that when he heard about the cure he thought that this guy was asking him to be a figurehead for him, and he thought about the fame and popularity he would get.

But listening to the continuation left him flabbergasted after all the cure wasn't his and it was obvious that this guy only thought about his own interests. But still a person who had that confidence that could create the cure in two weeks time wasn't a normal person, so sticking to his side was the most optimal and wise choice so he said a bit dispirited,

Doctor Song:"I understand sir, but to tell you the truth you can't be an ordinary person if you can create a cure for this disease in two weeks so I would be a fool if I turned down your request." He decided to tell the truth, after all if he had to work with this guy he needed his trust.

Tianlong Yun was really happy at those honest words, this proved that his choice was correct, so with a slight smile he said,

Tianlong Yun:"Well done doctor Song, but don't worry you will take your credit latter for the cure, but firstly we need to make some money, otherwise it would be a foolish thing to have a treasure and not use it." But at this time he thought about something.

It was obvious that there were cultivators and extraordinary beings in this world after all there was no chance that all those novels and legends were an imagination, somewhere, sometime, someone must have seen something. But if there were really those kinds of people then why didn't they create a cure and profit from it.

What was the purpose behind this virus, according to the news it was a mistake made by a single person, but could such a coincidence really happen and get millions of people infected? Was there some kind of conspiracy behind all this?

But now was not the time to think about this, first things first so he continued after waking up from his reverie and said,

Tianlong Yun:"In these two weeks' time I want you to make a list of possible clients that want this cure and their details, also don't try to tell them yourself and put yourself in danger, leave them to me." The last words were a kind of warning to the doctor to not try and act smart.

Not because of the retaliation from him but from the other parties that would be desperate to get a hand on the cure that's why he warned the doctor, and he was sure that doctor Song wasn't a stupid man and he could understand the meaning behind his words.

After that Tianlong Yun just like the previous time said,

Tianlong Yun:"Make the file ready and wait for my call, I will call you next week at most, so be ready at any time." Saying that he closed the call without waiting for a confirmation, he didn't need it, after all who would miss a chance to become rich and famous at the same time.

Closing the call, Tianlong Yun turned his head towards his toy and saw her in a deep sleep. He went close to the window and gazed at the sky and stars in there thinking, Immortal world, traitors clean your necks and wait for me I am coming.
