Hi! My name is Patricia delos Reyes. Everybody calls me Trixie. This is my story...

I am now in Junior High in an exclusive boarding school. Do not worry about it, because it is a co-ed school. I am not one of those types of golden teenager, if that's what you called them? I am perfectly normal teenager who enjoys her youth. As part of my scholarship, I worked as a library assistant. I loved this job because it is easy for me to do my research since I am very familiarized with the card catalog. I usually get A's scores on tests. But, it does not mean I have supernatural gifts as you find with the whiz kids. Like I said, I am just perfectly normal and organized person.

I usually have a daily planner that is separated from my personal diary. In my planner, I noted down my schedules of quizzes, lists of project, and homeworks. But, in my personal diary, I wrote dowm my own thoughts or expression.

Now, I weighed 170 lbs. Supposedly, my ideal weight should be 150 lbs. Thanks to my dad and mom who lived in Cebu City. I visited them during summer. They usually cook festive meals when my sister and I arrived home. We owned a restaurant in Cebu City.

But, my sister, Therese, who is a figure - conscious, is now helping me to lose weight. I also tried aerobics and gym. But, sometimes, my sister is overdoing it.

I have a boyfriend named Barry. He is in Senior High like Therese. For others, he is sort of a bully. He is boastful because he is a school athlete. He plays football. For me, he is a sweet guy with a big heart.

When I was 150 lbs, he used to bring me chocolates and flowers. But now, he wants me to lose weight and he also helps me to watch out my diet. One night, when we dined in a restaurant, he suggested me to order a vegetable salad while he is ordering a chunky steak meal. I was very famished then. I really wanted to taste that delicious steak meat. But, I loved him so much. I followed his advice.

He is actually changed. We used to hold hands together in public. But now, he does not want it anymore. He doesn't like to be called by sweet names in public anymore. He feels so embarrassed whenever I was doing it. Sometime, he treated me like a kind of freak. I really missed those chocolates and flowers he used to give me.

After five months, I lost 10 lbs. The head librarian is glad because I am now can move a little bit faster than I used to be. One day, I fainted and fell on the floor. The library staffs brought me to the clinic. The doctor advised me to stop taking those diet pills, and try to lose weight in a normal and healthy way. Suddenly, I reconized this doctor. He is Rico Rios, the whiz kid that is featured in newspapers and magazines. He is graduated in medical school in US. He just got his license at the age of 15.

Rico is a sweet guy. He offered me help to lose weight in a healthy way with free of charge. He is doing this because he wants me to be his friend. He said that he would properly guide me in losing weight. I also mentioned this to my sister, Therese. But, I haven't mentioned this to Barry. I am sure that he is awfully get jealous.

When Barry took my personal diary on purpose, he reads everything about Rico Rios. He asked me about him. Then, we had a fight on that night at the lobby. I was hurt. I took the diary from hip and slapped him on his face.

I went out of the building and called Rico Rios on my cellphone. Then, Rico took me in his house. He comforted me. For me, Rico is more than a friend. He likes me for who I am, regardless of my physical feature. I also like him. Oh my! I think I am in love with Rico Rios.

Rico is so sweet, intelligent and thoughtful. Barry is nothing but a handsome face. I think Rico is better than Barry. And so I had decided that I would break - up with Barry.
