Cora thought she could look past her boyfriend’s terrible abusive qualities and focus on the loving side of him, but one specific day had proved that to be impossible. It wasn’t the first time Adam had put his hands on Cora in a violent way, but she certainly wanted it to be the last. She’d had enough. With ambitious plans of finally running away and leaving him for good, Cora leaves her messy relationship.
