2 Kill This Love!!

Rose tried to open her eyes after a long sleep. Her head was still dizzy.

She tried to get up. Her body ached.

"Oh! I drank too much last night!" Rose told herself aloud.

She was now alone in her room. She could not remember exactly what happened last but her younger brother came to pick her up.

"Not good at all Rose, You should be a better sister!"

The train from Seoul to Busan was going on the route.

Rose looked out the window from the train. It was a cloudy day. The rain was coming. Rose was going back to her hometown. Her other family members were on the train too.Her brothers, her parents and of course her grandmother.

Before going back, Rose had applied some jobs from properties and furniture companies. She expected to get some responses soon. But for now, she hoped she will feel better at her home town, far from her college where she had had bad memories. She got to have her heart healed soon.

She put on her headphones on and played the music.

They finally arrived to their own home. Rose looked at their cottage as they walked toward there.

It looked lonely somehow.

But Rose still hoped she could make it more alive.

Rose's grandfather, died early before sons of family was finished school. The grandmother was intelligent woman, in fact she became the school headmaster after her husband in their village. She tried to encourage both of her sons' education. But the boys prefered to have fun and pleasure more than the school books. Nonetheless, both of them able to finish high school after failing exams several times.

The elder son, Park Yi Sung, got married early, not so long after he finished high school much to his mother dismay. Especially, the woman was even worse student than him and loved fun and pleasure better than him too. They were caught on the bed in the room in one late evening they usually meet by her parents, a well respected teachers as well.

By those older days, in this village especially, it was just so ugly face and downgrading woman to be alone with a man in the room in this particular evening.. especially if they were on bed hugging. Therefore, nothing was much known about their bonds or affections, they got married not so long after as her respectable parents had wished.

The second son redeemed himself by finished studies up to college degree and got married to a decent womad and had a warm family.

After Park Yi Sung had married and his wife had his child. They had up to three children. He reformed himself by trying the best to work for his family. His first son was even known to be worse than what he had been. The elder son ignored the studies and became a well known alcoholic. And he even became a beggar to buy alcohol.

His other two children were better. They were always near Park Yi Sung and Mrs Park, their grandmother. She loved her granddaughter very much and named her "Rose", a beautiful soft flower with thorns, her favourite flower. A rose was a classic flower well known for its beautiful build of petals, sweet smell and sharp thorns. Yes, roses are beautiful, sweet smelled and can healing in health but had the sharp thorns that had to becareful.

The mother did not stay home much. Her whereabouts were mostly gossips within town that she liked being with men.

Rose rest in quietly in her home most of the time and mostly talked with her grandmother. Sometimes, her grandmother encouraged her to walk around in the hometown.

Sometimes she walked with her grandmother, something with her younger brother. Her father mostly stayed home if he's not going to work. Sometimes, Rose walked alone too.

Old places brought old memories. Both good and memories were coming back; her childhood friends, relatives, people she could not get along with. Every sight was making her nostalgic.

She was walking along the bridge crossing the small river that was connected with the sea, when suddenly someone called her..

"Rose.....Chae Young!"

It was Mina, her childhood friend since Primary School.

"Mina...."

The two girls hugged.

"It's been long time!" Rose began.

"I really miss you!" Mina said. After sometimes, Mina says...

"It's must be really good to study there... you are lucky...!"

Rose nodded.

"Yea...but education is education...!"

"Yep..I am very finished college nearby here . sometimes I also want to go somewhere far away too.."

Mina paused.

Rose looked at her as she became silent.

"Rosie... please don't be alarmed but.. but.."

Tears were falling down from Mina's face.

"Hae Yi just passed away yesterday from her sickness last night!"

Rose was shocked.

Rose remembered Hae Yi, one of her best friend from middle school.

Hae Yi was resident of another village.

As her fishing family moved to Rose's village, Hae Yi started her studies started by entering to middle school. Hae Yi was in the same classroom with Mina and Rose. At that time, a young teacher from Seoul had come all the way to the village to teach the middle school and high school for a duration of time. The young teacher was well liked by students and by those surrounding him for his kindness and patience in teaching to the children.

Time passed by, Rose had been aware that the young teacher existence made Hae Yi very happy. Hae Yi was not the beauty like those of models or actresses. She definitely had the look of a village girl. But her friendly nature and gentleness made her very likable. She was now 16 in highschool alongside with Rose. Despite, the lack of world's standard beauty, Hae Yi looked beautiful at least to Rose.

It was one evening, when Rose was walking home under the sunset across the bridge. Rose suddenly see Hae Yi hugging with the young. With their looks and the way they hugged, Rose knew then that they must be in relationship.

However, the young teacher was well fond of by another woman, a primary school teacher... who had long been wanting to marry as her family had wished and she had been then looking for a suitable bachelor. For a reason, most bachelors she came to like did not reciprocated her. But at the moment, she just could not resist of the young bachelor teacher from another city. But she did realised the young teacher fondness for Hae Yi. She did not want to lose her dream guy to such a school girl.

It was one summer vacations that the school had held.

The two teachers and a group of students camped on near beach in Busan for a night.

The two teachers were than the young teacher (from Seoul) and the female teacher who was fond of him.

The students included Rose, Mina and Hae Yi and others.

The young teacher took care of his students well especially of Hae Yi.

Hae Yi was very happy.

Nonetheless, news were soon spread about something going on between the young teacher and the primary teacher who was targeting him. It was like they had spent the night together at sometimes at the vacation camp.

It must be true. The young teacher hardly came to see Hae Yi after that. Not long after the teachers were married.

Hae Yi was heart broken, uncontrollably heart broken. She went into quite depressing and became thin. Rose and Mina tried to cheer her up.

It had been long time before Hae Yi could finally able to get over all of it. She could even visit the young teacher family without feeling any alongside with Rose and Mina.

Nevertheless, it gave her a stomach pain she got from her depression(heart break) since she could not sleep or eat much at the time.

The stomach pain lived with her till she died at the age of 23.

Hae Yi funeral was taken.

All Rose's family members and Mina's relatives came.

The young teacher and his wife also came.

He definitely looked sad. But for a reason, Rose could not feel any sympathy towards him.

Rose had just had her heart broken not so long ago. And she had to find her beloved childhood friend died as a result of it even when her friend had overcome it already.

Emotions were indeed dangerous.

By feeling sympathy for Hae Yi, Rose somehow felt better and relieved from her own experience of heart break. And she knew she wanted to kill it just like in the song. After all she wanted to live and she had other people she loved, her family.

But just then, a young lady entered the funeral place.

Rose saw her. Her best college friend!..Umm but that woman caused her heart break too. Nonetheless, she was one of their girl gang at high school.

The lady paid respect to Hae Yi picture.

And she finally turned towards Rose.

"Rose, I...I'm...I'm very sorry...!"

Rose just smiled.

"I forgive you... It's natural I supposed. I have already get over it. I wish the best for you two!"

The friend did not say anything.

Rose then just turned away.

Yes, she thought she killed the love already.
