2 The Goddess of Love

'A person? What the fuck!?' He screamed in his mind, not knowing what just happened.

"Wait, nevermind that. I should probably help them." Ryuuji decided as he inched just close enough to see the front of her body.

"A girl? Wait a minute, that's not the problem! Why the heck did that rock turn into a naked girl!?"

'Nevermind, I should probably take her to a hospital or something.'

And then, as he drew closer and closer–close enough to touch her– he felt her twitch.

When Ryuuji felt her move, his heart started beating faster and faster

*Badump badump*

When he's looking at her flawless face, he felt that nothing in the world matters anymore.

Then, as if in a daze, his face drew closer to hers. Then, when his lips are just a few centimeters away, he hesitated.

He hesitated, because the image of Kurumi suddenly appeared in his mind.

However, her cherry-colored lips is just too enticing to resist. So in just a few minutes of resistance, he gave in.

At this point in time, he had no idea how much this decision is going to change his life.

As his lips touched hers, he came to his senses. 'What the fuck did I just do!? I hope she's not awake, else I might get reported.' Then, just as the thought left him, He noticed that the girl's eyes are slowly opening.

'W-what's happening?'. The girl thought as she tries to get a better look at her surroundings.

It was at that time that she saw Ryuuji leaning close to her face. Then, as if struck by lightning, she touched her lips and, while blushing, said, "You-you... did you just kiss me?"

It was then that Ryuuji finally realized what was going on. 'Fuck, I'm going to be reported, aren't I?' he thought, completely ignoring the fact that he just saw a rock turn into a girl. Well, in his defense, he's not the type to be able to remain calm in all situations.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that, I was in a daze and just-", then, he noticed that she was completely ignoring his existence. Mumbling things that he could not comprehend, like, "I just kissed a mortal, I'm going to get punished" and "What am I going to do now? And I just got released from the seal, too!"

"U-um, are you okay?" Ryuuji could not hel but ask, seeing her act like that.

She, then, finally turned to look at him. "Am I okay? Am I okay? Of course not! How the heck are you going to take responsibility for kissing a God!?"

"A God!?" He said, shocked. Then, he recalled that she was a pink gem before. Then he thought that everything makes a lot more sense if she were a God. After all, apart from the stone-to-human thing, her beauty alone is incomparable to a human's.

"Yes, mortal man, you heard right. I'm a God. God of love, Rose, at your service," She then proceeded to introduce herself. "And now that you know that, I'm going to take you to heaven to decide on a punishment for you; however, as I am a benevolent God, I'm going to give you some time to say goodbye to your family."

"Take me to heaven, you say?" He asked while being a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information being said. She snappily responded, "Yes, that is what I just said, mortal, just before you repeated it.

"You... You're not going to kill me, are you?" He asked while having a tinge of fear in his eyes. "Of course not, I'm just going to take your soul to heaven *temporarily*, at least until father finds a suitable punishment for you, for sullying the chastity of his daughter."

"Sullying your chastity? That's unreasonable! Sure, I was at fault fo kissing you in the first place, but it was just a kiss, right?" He said, trying to justify his actions.

"Ha, you have no idea how much heaven values the purity of Gods."

Then, out of nowhere, a ball of light suddenly appeared.

"The Messenger of Heaven's will, the Oracle?" Just as the girl finished her sentence, the ball of light entered her forehead.

After that, she suddenly looked as if someone just killed her family in front of her.

She looked at Ryuuji, while looking obviously shaken, and said, "The oracle's message said: For the crime of mingling with a mortal, the Goddess of Love, Rose, is hereby sentenced to a lifetime as a mortal– stripping away her powers as a God in the process."
