3 Going Home

"Why am I the one being punished? And isn't lifetime banishment too harsh of a punishment for kissing someone? That's it, someone is messing with me, I just know it," She grumbled.

Just then, another ball of light descended from heaven and entered Rose's head

"'Coming back to heaven without permission will result in termination of the soul?' Are you kidding me? This is bullshit!" Said Rose, complaining. Then, she started to glow golden. After a few seconds, the golden light got sucked in to the orb.

"Goddammit!"

Ryuuji did not have a single clue as to what the heck is going on, but seeing Rose in a bad mood, he asked, "Are you okay?"

Hearing this, Rose glared at him and said, "Okay? Do I look like I'm okay!? I just got kicked out from heaven and got my powers stripped away just because you decided that it would be fine to just kiss a sleeping girl!"

As Ryuuji was trying to come up with a retort (which he can't, as that was completely his fault), he got dazed while looking at her.

"What? You got nothing to say, huh", Then she noticed that he was just looking at her in a daze. "W-what is it? You're creeping me out!"

It was then that he noticed that he was just dazedly staring at her and snapped back into reality. He then started to blush and then said to her while handing over his jacket, "You should wear this,"

After he handed over his jacket, Rose was contemplating why he did that; it was not that she has no morals, but rather more in line with, 'Why should I care if an ant saw me naked?'

As Ryuuji was thinking of the dozens of questions he has in his head, he realized something; it would be bad if someone saw them. A guy and a girl alone in an isolated place— what's worse is the girl is pretty much naked, with only a jacket covering her body. The chances of someone walking in this place is pretty slim, but Ryuuji is not willing to take that chance— as he might get reported to the Police. 'I should take her home for now. It's going to be easier to explain this to my parents than to the Police anyway.'

Mustering his courage, he asked her, "Um, do you want to come home with me? I have a few of questions,"

At Ryuuji's room

"So, uhh... First question: what the fuck just happened? Second question: who and what are you?"Although Ryuuji somewhat understood what happened based on what she said and a few clues, he still asked for confirmation.

"To answer your first question; I just got banished from heaven because of you and now I don't have anywhere to go to, so you must take responsibility by providing me shelter as well as some basic necessities. As for your second question; I am what you mortals would call a Goddess. The Goddess of Love, to be precise. Due to a mistake of the past, I was sealed inside a gem, to be imprisoned for a few centuries to repent. The seal was almost undone when you came. Once I was out of the seal, I was supposed to return to heaven. But then, YOU came along and ruined it! I could finally go back home when you kissed me!" Rose said as her eyes became slightly wet. "*Sob, sob, sob* I don't even know what to do anymore..."

'I really fucked it up this time, huh...' Ryuuji, obviously, felt bad for taking away her right to go back home.

"I'm sorry. I should not have done that. I don't know what came over me. Usually I wouldn't do that. Anyway, do you know of a way that I can help you so that you can return to heaven? I'll do what I can to help you. If you can't return to heaven, you can just stay here." Ryuuji said.

Rose looked at his face after calming down for a bit before saying, "You know, it's not really your fault. I was just a bit emotional." Seeing the the confusion in his face, she continued, "As I just came out of the seal, I wasn't able to properly to control my Divinity. A Divinity is basically the power of a God or Goddess. A God's Divinity can influence the surrounding area if not controlled. For example, the God of Death's Divinity will suck away the life of every living being in the vicinity. Conversely, the Goddess of Life's Divinity will give more life to anything that has even a tiny bit of life in the surrounding area. Such as: healing wounds, making flowers bloom and making wilting plants grow. So you see, what happened was just an accident. If anything, I was the one at fault. I actually feel kinda bad that your giving a place to live... Don't worry, though, I'll help with the chores!"

Before Ryuuji could say anything, the door to his room opened. What came in was a cute little girl, about 10-11 of age. With white hair styled into a ponytail.

"Onii-chan! Mom said that dinner is ready!" The little girl said while hugging Ryuuji's arm. It was then that the little girl saw Rose sitting opposite of them. "Who is she, Onii-chan?"
