3 Part 2: This can only be a coincidence, right?

I ended up going to sleep soon after my encounter with Kirito, I felt too embarrassed to show my face at the time, so I hid away for the rest of the night till morning.

It's now 7:45 am and I look at myself in the standing mirror in the corner of my room, my Rose Academy uniform looked rather good, a black skirt with a white blouse and black over jacket that had a red rose emblem on my right shoulder and a blue rose on my left shoulder, a black-tie around my neck completed the outfit it felt weird wearing a black tie, my black leggings came to my mid thy which made me feel a bit uncomfortable but I quickly got over it once my alarm went off to head to the campus auditorium.

I quickly slid my black uniform shoes on and move my bangs out of my eyes before walking out of the dorm, I didn't see anyone when walking out it seems they left earlier. Tons of students packed into the auditorium but upon entering we were given a number according to our class, I was to sit at...

( A2? Does that mean I'm on the first-row second chair? )

I could easily spot my seat and was dreading it already, the one who sat in seat A1 was no other than Kirito Ryoko,

( I don't want to engage in any conversations right now...but what if he thinks I'm weird if I just ignore him...oh, I don't know what I should do! )

While feeling so conflicted with my thoughts, someone approached me wearing the same school outfit as me, she has straight blond hair and hazel eyes, her bangs were pulled back with what looked like a diamond heirloom, it was very pretty, the shape of it was of a swan that sparkled brightly when the light hit it, it complemented her fair but smooth skin tone.

" Hello there! I'm Naiomi Bashi it's nice to meet you! I'm in seat A3 it looks like we're going to be sitting next to each other so I just thought it would be nice to introduce myself to you while we walk? "

Her sudden approach threw me a bit off guard but I politely smiled back.

( I could use this as a way out! )

" It's nice to meet you too Ms. Bashi, my name is Yuki Hiroshimae. "

" Oh no need to be so formal with me we are in the student council together so why not be friends! You can just call me Naiomi or maybe Nai-Nai? Oh, you could also call me Omi if you'd like! Or even Ash!! "

Her energy was so overpowering I wasn't sure to laugh or cry, I waved my hands in front of me.

" No no it's ok haha I'll just call you Naiomi and you can call me Yuki ok? "

Her face lit up and that answer seemed to please her, she then motioned me to walk with her and we took our seats, Kirito just kept his focus on a book he was reading, he had a cold and emotionless stare that could give any person the chills just by him looking at them. Naiomi and I talked here and there getting to know each other a bit more.

" Yuki where are you from? You don't look like you from around here? "

" Oh yeah, it's that noticeable huh? "

I replied with a nonchalant tone and she giggled

" It's your eyes they are too pure looking to be from this region, it's rare that your eye color is so pure looking, like most here eye color shows the amount of magic one has, but also their traits and bloodline, most mages here are halfbreed these days or lower but this year it seems we're lucky with 6 purebloods coming here, and they're all in the student council! though this region is most famous for this Academy and politics, it's mostly run by half breeds, 65% of the population is of commoners, 30% is half breeds and the remaining is of purebloods and most of them are in the government for this region, so what about you? "

I laugh nervously.

" Well, I'm just from the outskirts nothing special..."

She tilted her head to the side glancing behind me when I looked towards her gaze I found she was eyeballing Kirito.

Before I could say anything she begins to talk to him.

" Hey, Kirito are you having problems with reading?"

He looks up at her with an irritated look on his face before responding

" What??"

She smirks at his answer

" You have been on the same page since Yuki and I came and sat here! Are you eves dropping on our conversation! "

my face instantly went rigid.

(Oh no what is she thinking!!)

You could tell Kirito was aggravated more and his cold but distraught face looked livid.

" I was just thinking! I wasn't even reading! What's wrong with being lost in thought sometimes..."

Naiomi laughed at his response

" I'm just messing with you I had no idea you were even on the same page chill! "

She was laughing so hard and Kirito just turned the other way in his seat not showing his flustered reaction. he failed to notice Naiomi's cunning smile after he turned away from us but I caught it.

After a few more minutes the principal walked out onto the stage. He wore a suit and tie that looked similar to the boy's attire but he had a red tie like the teachers while students have black ties, he scans the crowd and the ceremony began with his long grey beard swaying as he talked into the mic.

" I want to welcome you all to Rose Academy, this year we are very lucky to have not one, not two but 6 purebloods in our classes this year, it's a great honor to be here another year I hope to see each of you excel more than the last! The 24 council members of the day and night classes are in these first rows, here's the day council."

He points in our direction

"And the night class council members are here to the left."

There was a round of applause

" Every student will be handed a school handbook to look over once you receive your number ID badge and class schedules, there are a few things I would like to go over first before I let the council members take over from here...

First things first, anyone who is caught going outside of the wall surrounding the school here will be severely punished, it is dangerous for you all to leave without anyone escorting you.

Also once your partner is selected you can't change it, the partner system is not under our control it is your own magic's abilities choosing your most beneficial partner that will help you both succeed in this life, another thing!

No sneaking into opposite dorms have some decency for yourself and others. The student council of both night and day will be scouting the school grounds if any of these rules are broken. You will receive the punishment that seems fit for your actions.

There are plenty more rules you all will need to learn, but most importantly no fighting each other at all, if you are caught fighting without being in training or supervised you will be charged and or banished from our school...Now welcome our student council presidents from day class, Kirito Ryoko and from night class, Suzaku Sheng, also your Vice Presidents for student council will be Yuki Hiroshimae from day class and Shun Shi from night class, will the two presidents come to take a stand and explain the events for the next semester."

My heart skipped a beat when I heard my name called out and my thoughts became erratic.

(Vice President?! Do I deserve such a title?! I'm sure there are better mages than me, I don't feel worthy nor do I think I am the right choice...)

"Hey Yuki look!"

Naiomi whispers in my ear and points to the two at the podium

" Suzaku looks rather charming doesn't he!? "

He had a nice smile and good looking face, he seemed very cheerful his aura made it feel like he's a nice guy while Kirito seemed like the polar opposite.

Though he was smirking it was only for show, you could tell if you looked close enough, he seemed distant but very mature and calm. While Suzaku's appearance showed energy and enthusiasm. Suzaku's wavy short sandy blond hair and masculine body tone gave him a great first impression.

His bright golden eyes shined brightly as he spoke, His deep but confident voice rung out through the auditorium, then it was Kirito turn, once they were finished giving their speeches they both shook hands and gazed into each other's eyes.

For a second, it looked like they could be friends but you could tell something was off, the atmosphere around the two seemed chaotic. Once off stage the ceremony thus ended and we were directed to head back to the dorms till we received our ID cards and handbooks, Naiomi and I chatted as we made our way into the council dorms, and upon entering we were greeted with a scream then a crash that threw us both off guard.
