She Was Stabbed!

As i closed my eyes, someone turned on the lights and i gasped.

It was the PRINCE!

"G...g...hi." I greeted him. He looked ruthless. Better than the prince i met and knew.

He really looked like someone, who could be called Queen Ahyeon's son. This time, he was shirtless.

"What...what...you are not even speaking or anything...." His look killed me and i felt something electric in my belly. He jumped on the bed and i pulled the sheets to myself scared.

"Wh...what did i do to you...why are you..." He grabbed my face before i said a word.

"Why are you even...' He threw away the sheets and smashed his lips on mine, never wanting to let go. He pressed me against the bed and fondled me. I can't believe a princess like me was being handled so ruthlessly.

But the kiss made me powerless. There was nothing i could use to defend myself. I was only a maid, and i was....

What's the word??

Powerless. And since his lips tasted like vanilla, i couldn't resist.

I mean, can you resist vanilla?

My favorite flavor. Even if the devil's lips tasted that way, i would obviously not stop kissing that. As he took his fingers behind me to unzip my outfit, i pushed him and threw myself on the ground.

"ROSES!!!!" I opened my eyes.

Phew! It was only a silly dream. I couldn't believe i could actually dream about a guy. A prince.

And not just a prince, my enemy. I flew out of bed, and there was a slight pain on my head.

"Is this a dream or reality??" I licked my lips. They were still vanilla.

Wow! Those vanilla lips....

And let me remind you what, i don't joke with vanilla. Whenever i get to taste it once, i yearn for more. And i will get those vanilla lips, whether accidentally or purposely.

And there is only one way i can -

"ROSE!!!" Wait....is that Queen Ahyeon?? I wore my apron, took the books and ran out of the room. Thankfully i didn't get lost. The courtiers were seated for a meeting. Queen Ahyeon and her foolish daughter Mina were standing right in front of Princess Sapphira.

"Who is Rose?" Sapphira asked.

"Her!" Mina yelled and pointed on seeing me.

"Am sorry my lady Sapphira. I ran away from home. Am just a simple maid. Am their maid. Thanks so much for the hospitality."

I heard footsteps rushing downstairs and i looked up.

"MR VANILLA!!!" I thought, wanting to melt like vanilla ice-cream. He was in a cream colored tuxedo. As he passed by, i inhaled his sweet fragrance.

I just want that dream to come true.

"You are welcome Miss Rose. My Queen, you can have your maid."

"When is Leah returning?" Queen AHYEON asked.

"Soon. In a weeks' time i guess." The prince sat on his throne.

"Okay then."

"Let's go." Mina whispered and pulled me.

"She is not going anywhere." Someone said and we stopped in our tracks.

"Prince Ethan, shut up!' I was even more shocked at that. Well, she had the right. She was his aunt.

"Why should i? And you don't even have the right to say that? If you weren't my aunt, you'd be arrested!" Ethan yelled.

"Am sorry."

"I say, Rose isn't going anywhere. She's staying here in this palace."

"Look guy, Rose is our maid. And we have the right to take this witch to hell, to the palace, wherever we want." Mina said and i rolled my eyes.

"Don't move an inch. Rose, go to your room." The Prince ordered me.

"I will go with them."

"By Mina's actions, and Queen Ahyeon's attitude, am not sure they treat you well there." Prince Ethan said.

"I am fine there. They treat me well, thanks for the care. Good day. Shall we?" I turned to Mina who i wanted to give a black eye at that moment. I led the way and they followed. The courtiers looked at me with astonishment.

We reached the palace a few hours later, and Queen Ahyeon and Mina retired to their bedrooms. I went to the kitchen, slipped a knife in my pocket and followed Mina.

"Rose, please wash my hair and decorate it with those white roses." I washed her hair in the sink, and left to get some roses. A few seconds later, i returned and she was gone.

I even yelled her name in Korean and looked everywhere in the palace. I asked the maids, and guards but they swore they didn't see her leaving.

Where was this kitten!

I passed by the balcony and saw her in such a beautiful garden. It wasn't a garden i have actually seen before...it was a bit stranger....It did have red roses, but on the other side of the garden it had tulips. I saw Mina from upstairs holding a red rose and tulip bouquet.

I ran downstairs and yelled at her.

"PRINCESS! I have been searching!"

"am sorry." She turned around in a soft voice and smile and i was 100% sure it was fake!

"Hazel...i mean Rose, am sorry for what happened. Everything i have been doing to you, my mother and i are so cruel, to have arrested your parents..we are sorry..My mum wanna release Queen Jennie and King Damien tomorrow, and we'll be on our way to Seoul. We are sorry for the trouble..." She knelt down and started crying aloud.

I felt a bit bad, maybe she did realize her mistake and was ready to make up.

It was a sincere apology maybe. I brought her up to her feet and hugged her.

"Don't worry Mina. I forgive you. You don't need the tears..."

'I knew you liked Red Rose. So accept this bouquet from me. Sorry there are tulips."

"No problem." I took the bouquet and inhaled the fragrance.

Wait....what?

There was a strong smell. It was thick, sharp and i was sure i was gonna pass out.

How could Mina do this??

This is your last Mina. She stood before me grinning. It was all blurry, as i took the knife in my pocket and stabbed her hard before passing out in the flowers.

I opened my eyes in my bedroom.

My real bedroom, which Mina stole from me. I was in my soft comfy robes.

Was i dreaming again??

Obviously not!

I got up and went to the court. Courtiers stood speechless as Queen Ahyeon screamed, wailed and cried uncontrollably. Mina laid before her, her gown drenched with her blood, and the knife which i stabbed her with.

This was all i wanted before leaving the palace. I went back to my bedroom and wrote a letter to Mr Fang. I waited in my room till he acknowledged the letter. Then, i wore a hoodie and sneaked into the dungeon. It was completely dark, and echoed.

"Queen Jennie....King Damien...." I whispered playfully.

"Come here!" I heard a whisper as i saw Queen Jennie. There were tears in her eyes as i ran towards her and flew in her arms.

I wasn't allowed to see her for five years!

Dad was asleep.

"I missed you!'

"Same here my Princess. How are those scumbags treating you?" She sounded worried.

"I finished off Mina."

"YOU KILLED HER! WHY??" Queen Jennie yelled.

"I don't have much time. I'll send letters, if i can, and i will visit you again, when all my enemies are conquered." I promised mum as i ran out of the dungeon again. I packed my things, and ran out of the palace.
