14 Solo Mission

"Why did you forcefully drag me here?" Eli asked the Headmaster as he walked into his office and the Headmaster gave him a wicked smile, "You could've just asked."

"Yes but this was far more entertaining." The Headmaster told him with a chuckle and Eli sighed while pinching the bridge of his nose, "I need you to handle a member of Anti-thesis that has been giving us a lot of trouble recently."

"Don't you have guys like this to handle them?" Eli asked as he motioned to the men in black suits stand at the door and the Headmaster's smile turned to a frown, "That strong huh? What do I get out of this because your threats aren't going to work on me like they did with Tsukune."

"I figured not. How about I give the Newspaper Club a fully functioning room with supplied equipment?" He asked Eli as his smile came back and Eli's eyes widened at the offer, "I'm assuming that's a yes?"

"I can't fight anyone serious without Tsukune's help and you have him working with the festival committee guys." Eli told him with a serious look and the Headmaster gave one of the men a nod. He handed Eli a small wooden and Eli gave it a strange look before opening it and seeing a ring inside. He noticed it was far too small for him to wear but when he took it out words he couldn't read began to glow red and it resized itself.

"Why don't you try it on?" The Headmaster asked with his smile getting wider and when Eli slid it on his finger he immediately changed into his vampire half, "That ring has the ability to nullify magic and that includes your rosario seal."

"Where's that member at?" Inner Eli asked with a serious look as he put his hands in his pockets, "I'm not going to promise there won't be any damage done to the school if their are close to the school."

"I'm aware of that and she was last seen a few miles East of the campus. We are unaware of what type of monster she is since none of our men have come back so take precaution." One of the men explained as he pulled out a map of the dimension and Eli gave him a nod before walking out of the office. He made his way to her last known location and saw a building similar to the one the Outcasts were using as a base. Eli calmly went inside and saw a girl with dark hair around his age sitting on the opposite side of the building.

"Why do they keep sending people after me?" She asked as she stood up and began to walk towards him with a glare before she suddenly stopped when she saw his rosary, "Are you Eli Akashiya by chance?"

"How do you know my name?" Eli asked with a confused look and she grinned as flames exploded off of her. His eyes widened when she sent a massive fireball at him and she watched as he was swallowed by the flames.

"I guess you weren't as strong as the rumors said." She sighed while walking back to her chair before a demonic energy appeared behind her and she turned around in time to see Inner Eli put the fire out with a swipe of his arm.

"That hurt." Eli told her as his burns began to heal and they both dashed towards each other with their arms pulled back. They slammed their fists into each other's faces and stunned each other before flames exploded off of her fist, engulfing Eli's head in fire. She coughed spit when he suddenly punched her in the stomach and they both stumbled back. In the blink of an eye they locked their hands together and began to struggle for control, with Eli quickly winning the clash. She headbutted him in the nose before delivering a fierce knee to his chin and Eli let go of her as he fell back. He landed on his hands and quickly flipped away from her to gain some distance as he accessed the situation.

"I guess the rumors were true after all." She laughed but stopped when Eli launched towards her with enough force to destroy the ground at his feet and hit her with his shoulder, sending her fly backwards. She landed on her feet before realizing that Eli was already behind her and he kicked her into one of the walls.

"You aren't as strong g as I thought you'd be. I'm kind of disappointed to be honest." Eli said as he walked towards her and sighed when she sprinted towards him with fire surrounding her arms. His eyes widened when the flames formed into a firey gauntlets with a clawed hands and she slammed her fist into his jaw, causing him to bounce off of the ground several times before managing to land on his feet and slide to a stop. Eli wiped the blood off of his mouth as her demonic power skyrocketed and looked up to see wings made of fire come out of her back.

"I'll admit I underestimated you but let's see how you handle this." She told him with anger burning in her eyes and Eli immediately knew what she was.

"So you're a Phoenix." Eli said as the two stared each other down and he gave her a grin, "My father told me stories of your kind and I wondered how'd I hold up against one."
