Chapter 4: The Potential of Class 4-2

"Let's keep comments to ourselves, Ikeya," Ichitani Yu retorts sharply, incensed by Ikeya Yu's underestimation.
"Mm-hmm, Whatever" Ikeya Yu responds while flipping a kunai nonchalantly, She looks over at Mukai and changes the subject.
"Anyways teacher Mukai, you're doing amazing. I glanced into your class today and couldn't believe it's your first year teaching given the great atmosphere,"
Mukai humbly responds, "It's all thanks to your examples and the students being attentive," despite knowing it's modesty, everyone loves compliments. Ikeya Yu smiles and shares some of her snacks with Mukai.
Seeing this, Ichitani Yu feels a sting of preferential treatment; despite being colleagues with Ikeya Yu for two years, he rarely received such generosity.
Silently criticizing Ikeya Yu, Ichitani Yu quickly greets Mukai.
Mukai, always cheerful, responds to everyone before picking up his calligraphy brush to practice, a habit from his past life nurtured after a college calligraphy course.
With limited lunch breaks at the ninja school, there's scarce time for practice or training.
As class time approaches, Mukai tidies up and heads to the classroom.
