I unlock the door and open the door, "This is my place ," I said as Rogue took a look around the apartment "Mi casa es tu casa, make yourself at home,"

"Except for my room, don't go into my room," Milo said as he went to the fridge, he took off his mask and take out a bottle of Vodka before downing it,

Rogue looked slightly concerned

"He has a very powerful healing factor that puts Wolverine's to shame, he needs to drink excessively to feel a tiny bit of buzz" I explained and she nods her head

"I'm Milo by the name, my hero name is Kars,"

"Nice to meet you Milo, you already know but Ah'm Rogue," she said with a straight face

"So how is this gonna work?" Milo asked "Are you gonna get a job, join me in cartel raids, or are you gonna live off of The Ring Foundation like Archie here,"

"What's 'The Ring Foundation'?" she asked me

"Remember how I said my powers allow me to earn cash quickly" she nodded "Well, Ring can you introduce yourself to Rogue,"

"Your Ring can talk?!" she exclaimed

"Yes she can, it is actually a semi-sentient construct I created, just like this one" I made a green rose and gave it to her

"Wow, it even smells like a rose," she said as she smiled

"Yeah- yeah his powers are cool," Then our phone rang, Milo opened it as he usually got calls, he looked excited and closed the phone "Something came up, I'll leave you two love birds alone," Milo said as he grabbed a shirt from his room and left.

"What was that?" she

"That's Milo, he is a bit of a skirt chaser"

"Really? He didn't make any passes on me,"

"Well, if I wasn't in the picture he would be all over you," I said, Milo respects the unspoken bro code.

"Hmm… So what do you wanna do?" she put her arms around my neck, her face was an inch (2.5 cm) from my own, the Ring started playing {'Wicked Game' by Chris Isaak} and me and Rogue slowly made our way to the bedroom…

-- Milo's POV --

Well, she looked at me

…" I continued singing as I drove on my Harley to Harley's house. She was this Australian girl I met at the bar. On my way there I heard from the police radio that Rhino was spotted around Central Park and decided to make a stop there and wore my mask and took him down, easy enough, he is just a brute after all.

But I was brought out of my thoughts when the motorcycle rose from the ground and started floating. Before I knew it, a man wearing way too much purple appeared before me. "OH NO!"

"Young Kars… It's a pleasure to meet you," Master of Magnetism said as he approached me, "I have been looking for you. I wish for you to join my cause, no not my, to our cause." he then floated next to me "Will you help end this endless cycle of hate, help your mutant brothers and sisters take their rightful place on Earth." he held up his hand "Will you join the Acolytes."

Okay fuck this shit. I threw some bone finger bullets at the man before jumping off the motorbike.

Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!

I was higher than I expected.

I threw my ulna to a building, connected by a thin, but powerful layer of bone tissue, I used it to swing like Spider-Man and land on top of a building.

There waiting for me was Magneto. He started clapping very slowly, "Most impressive, not only are you strong, you are also creative with your gifts, you will make an excellent addition to my Acolytes," Then he held up his hand and a metal bar wrapped around my body "Willing or not,"

"OH MY GOD!" I shouted as I was being crushed by the metal bar, I managed to keep my focus despite the immense pain I was feeling and somehow managed to send a Pager signal to Archie. I hate to admit it but Magneto was several tiers above me.

"Let me warn you about something helmet head," I said and he motioned for me to go on "Beware Green Lantern's Light!"

In that moment a Giant Boxing Glove smashed into Magneto and sent him flying.

"You good Milo?"

-- Archie's POV --

Rogue and I were on my bed, her shirt was off, so was mine and I was kissing her neck when suddenly we heard a sound

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

"Hm-?" Her moaning stopped in the middle because I had stopped kissing her neck. "What's wrong?" She asked

"Milo's in danger," I said as I got out of the bed and willed my super-suit on. I then flew out of the window.

The Ring had already detected where Milo's pager was located and I was flying there at top speed, when I got there I immediately noticed Magneto. Without thinking I created a Large Boxing Glove and slammed him as hard as I could with it.

He was sent flying as a result.

"You good Milo?" I ask and he nods

"Yeah. Is that 'Wicked Game' by Chris Isaak?" he asked and I just remember Ring was still playing the song, {Ring, stop playing Wicked Game}

{{Affirmative}} she telepathically relayed before Magneto came flying at us.

"Why do you children defy me?! All I want to do is save our kind! To help homo-superiors take our rightful place on Earth!" he shouted as he hurled metal objects at us and my shields blocked it.

"You just randomly appear out of nowhere, destroy my bike, threaten me, and then have the audacity to ask why we defy you?" Milo asked as he made

"Enough! You will join me whether you want to or not. Both of you." He screamed as he hauled metallic objects at us but my shields held.

He then sent an electromagnetic blast but my shield still held up, after that I willed tendrils to shoot up from my shield and try to encase him but this time his shields blocked my attack.

I willed into existence multiple arrows, trying to see how his shields held up against piercing damage, and it did. I could feel him try to manipulate my constructs like he did any form of electromagnetic energy, the only reason he couldn't do so is that my control over my constructs made his influence on them negligible.

We continued blasting each other with different types of blasts, trying to break through each other's defenses, but nothing worked.

He was by far the most powerful opponent I had ever faced, if it goes on like this whoever lasted longer would win. We both knew that.

We both stopped fighting for a moment and stared at each other.

"Green Lantern, you are powerful, I'll admit to that. But you do not know how to use your powers effectively, join me and let me help you reach your full potential."

Huh… Classic Bad Guy Recruitment Speech.

I need something powerful to end this,

I held up my Ring, charging a blast more powerful than I have ever done, reciting the most powerful move known to weebs everywhere to help me imagine and make it even more powerful "KA-ME-

Then a metal bar hit me at Mach 10 and made me flip around several times before regaining my composure,

"What was that supposed to be? It's sickening to watch the waste of such a gift. You are one of the most powerful mutants I have met yet you have no idea how to use your gifts efficiently. Your moves are powerful but they leave you vulnerable, over-reliant on your shields. Up to that last attack it was acceptable for a young mutant, but that last one was a god-awful attempt to unleash an attack with such a swagger, like a third-rate fighter."

Something within me changed, "Asshat, what did you say? Like a third-rate fighter?" Raw will power energy exuded off me in my anger, I knew how I was gonna beat this asshole {Ring take out the safeties, killing is prohibited} {{Affirmative}} "That move comes from a single greatest hero in the universe whom I respect. If the real thing was used on you just now, you'd turned to dust for sure, that's how awesome that move is. You're still alive only because I'm just a poser, that's right. I look up to him so much that I started to carelessly copy him, but no more, I will now show you something original"

"Hm… I suppose you should use your own-" he then held his chest

"Having trouble breathing? Are you feeling weak? Any pain in your chest? Ha- Ha- You see Erik while I was making that long-ass bull shit of an angry rant I actually released to the air a special gaseous material, which your shields let in since this material have similar properties to oxygen, except when breathed in it causes an electrical malfunction in the heart which then causes an irregular heartbeat and then …" Heart attack, or at least heart irregularity.

Erik's shields were down, he started falling down,

I did not see him hit the ground, just before he could, he just… disappeared.

(AN: Pre-AvX Magneto vs Less Experienced Green Lantern fight was a very tricky one. Both of them are around the same power range with relatively similar powers, their fight would be drawn out until one of them gets tired or slips up, the reason Magneto won't slip up that easily is because of his decades of experience and Green Lantern won't slip up thanks to his Ring, so their fight will be one of endurance, but in here Green Lantern used an attack that by passed Magneto's defenses and used his human body against him. If Green Lantern had experience and/or Will Power on par with Hal Jordan, he would have won without having to use an attack that bypass Magneto's shields and nearly kill him.)
