'Oh, will alchemy give me agility? This is so pointless for now, but I would really like to learn more about alchemy.'

Ron reflected for a moment.

"Ron? Are you okay, dear?"

Molly asked, as Ron was taking his time answering her.

"I want to learn magic!"

He responded to Molly, responding to the system at the same time.

When the reward message appeared, Ron felt a quick shiver run through his body. This made him more excited.

"Since you haven't even started Hogwarts yet, I thought I'd teach you some second-year spells. Thus, you will evolve your skills in due time."

Molly began to speak, as she positioned some boxes in the yard, at a considerable distance from Ron, but still short of being too far.

"Today we are going to learn the Flipendo spell."

Molly continued.

'The pushing spell? I suppose that's the one.'

Ron thought, checking his memory of spells.

"Basically, this spell is practiced in defense against the dark arts classes or dueling. Do you intend to do any of them? I hope it's just from duels hahaha."

Molly teased as she positioned herself next to Ron again.

"I'll do it once and I want you to try and copy me. Pay attention to the movement of the wand and the pronunciation. It may seem difficult at first, but it's not too difficult."

She assured Ron.

Molly held her wand firmly in her right hand and pointed it at one of the boxes, which was now a target. Quickly, Molly began to repeat the clear and firm pronunciation of the word "Flipendo", while moving her wand with a swift, upward flick. Then, a blast of bright energy shot from Molly's wand towards the target.

The spell hit the object, causing it to bounce back and a few inches off the ground before coming to rest.

"Right. Now let's see you try."

Molly took a small step back, indicating that it was Ron's turn.

Ron positioned himself a little further forward and, gripping his wand firmly, he aimed it at the middle target. Ron began to clearly pronounce the word "Flipendo", while waving his wand in exactly the same way as Molly did.

This time, a stream of blue energy flew from the tip of his wand and hit the target hard. The object was pushed back a few meters before falling to the ground.

Ron lowered his wand and looked at Molly, expecting her to tell him about the next teaching, but when he looked back, Molly was gaping.

"I thought we were going to take longer on this…"

She said, in disbelief at how amazing Ron was turning out to be.

"What else are we going to learn?"

Ron asked excitedly.

"To tell you the truth, I thought we would only learn this today, but I can teach you some other spell. Let me see…"

Molly started swinging her leg. She looked anxious.

"How about teaching me the 'Reducio' and the 'Engorgio' spell?"

Ron suggested.

"Oh, no dear. These spells are very dangerous. They are taught only after the fourth year. Even Fred and George haven't learned about these spells yet."

Molly responded by rubbing her hands together.

"How about we learn something like… Diffindo?"

Molly said excitedly, skirting around the situation.

"But isn't that a cutting spell? How could that be safer than a shrink and grow objects spell?"

Ron questioned. He had a confused expression on his face.

"It cannot be used on living beings, and I believe you will not be endangered by cutting paper or string."

Molly replied, positioning herself to show the spell.

"Why can't I use it on living beings? Does it not work?"

Ron asked, hoping for a logical explanation.

"Honey, we have rules. Ethical guidelines that do not allow people to use spells with the intent to cause harm."

Molly tried to explain calmly.

"So, spells that can kill people are taught, and you regulate it with 'it's up to you'?"

Ron asked, frowning. He looked a little outraged by the news.

In his past life, people committed terrible crimes: killing, stealing, and engaging in all sorts of wrongdoing. Yet, no school ever taught them how to commit such acts. Ron couldn't fathom what people might do if they possessed the power to cause even greater harm, simply by wielding an object that could also be wielded by children, and casting a spell.

"AND…".

Molly didn't know how to respond.

Even though that conversation was awkward, Molly didn't find it so suspicious as to doubt Ron's nature. He was just a child, or looked like one, which made Ron look like a naive and curious little boy.

"Right. Let's start."

She ignored that conversation and continued with the training.

Moly, standing beside Ron, pointed her wand at a rag hanging on the clothesline, drying.

She began to utter the word "Diffindo" as she moved her wand in a linear path across the cloth. The movement was smooth as the wind and continuous, without oscillations.

And then, a bright line of energy was released from the wand and cut the cloth in half, causing the severed part to come loose and fall to the ground gently.

"Easy, isn't it?"

Molly asked. The spell was a little more difficult than the previous one, so Molly expected Ron to have a little more difficulty this time.

Ron firmly gripped his wand and quickly repeated the same movements, only this time he was pointing the wand towards the clothesline.

"Diffindo!"

Ron said firmly, pointing his wand.

A bright line of energy shot out of the wand and sliced through the clothesline in the corner. The severed rope began to fall to the ground.

"Locomotor!"

Quickly, Molly pulled out her wand and pointed it at the rope in the air, making a quick, circular motion, continuous and smooth, speaking the word with a clear pronunciation.

The scene passed in seconds, and Molly managed to catch the rope before it hit the ground, causing the other clothes laid out to get dirty with the wet earth underneath.

"Easy."

Ron said to Molly with a mischievous smile as Molly looked at him a little irritated.

"Ronald Weasley! Just try not to destroy or mess up my things. If not, I'll start teaching you the cleaning spells and you'll be the one to clean the house."

Molly scolded Ron, but there still seemed to be a teasing edge in her voice.

Ron couldn't help but pay attention to the spell Molly had performed. Even if it wasn't her intention, she had just taught Ron how to perform the "Locomotor" spell.

After a while, Molly noticed the time and decided to end Ron's training there, as she had a lot of things to do.

Ron continued in the backyard practicing what he learned.

He struggled all day to perfect the spells more and more.

Evening began to arrive and Arthur Weasley was already home, lying on the bed in his room, relaxing while reading the newspaper as he did every day.

"Have you noticed how much more focused Ron is?"

Molly said to Arthur. She was at the bedroom window, watching Ron tirelessly practicing all the spells he had learned.

"Ron? Why do you say that?"

Arthur asked, not even realizing where his son was.

"Look over there, he's practicing the spells I taught him."

Molly said, pointing to the backyard.

"Are you teaching him spells? You know you can't do that, right?"

Arthur asked. He looked a little upset by the news.

"Arthur, you don't understand Ron's talent. He's an amazing wizard."

Molly started to say proudly.

"He could very well be the second Albus Dumbledore, which is something I heavily doubt, but we must not teach spells beyond his level. He is still a child, dear."

Arthur scolded, looking at Ron through the window next to Molly.

"I didn't teach him anything dangerous. Just basic stuff. You don't have to worry."

Molly said, placing her hand affectionately on Arthur's shoulder.

So Ron started practicing the spell he had seen Molly perform earlier.

He positioned himself in the exact spot where Molly was before and gripped his wand tightly.

"Locomotor!"

Ron pointed his wand at one of the boxes, which were used as a target, and said aloud, while making a circular motion with his wand.

Arthur and Molly's eyes widened, trying to see if the box would move.

Then, a wave of energy shot out of the wand and enveloped the box. The box slowly began to shake and levitate with difficulty.

Arthur and Molly didn't even blink, as if they were rooting for Ron.

Ron started moving the box to the side, trying to concentrate as hard as he could. The box was shaking a little, still not perfectly stabilized like Molly had done, but he managed to move it a little, making it all the way to the other side.

"He managed to cast it. My God, this is fantastic. Do you know how long it took me to learn that spell?"

Arthur began to say excitedly to Molly, who was smiling happily.

It was strange for her to know that a wizard so young had the power to master magic so easily. She had never seen anything like it when she studied at Hogwarts.
