30 LONGINUS

After returning back to the Villa they were staying at, his aunt had Ron practice a few more simple spells that would help him in his day today life.

"I'm going to go rest, after your done you can self study. We'll have dinner at eight o'clock, and remember to not overexert yourself. You can do that after you've acquired your wand tomorrow."

"Yes, Aunt."

Ron started to practice the new spells, which were Scourgify, Sonorus, and Muffliato. The first was used for cleaning, the second was an amplifying spell ,while the third and last one prevented eavesdropping.

"*The most useful one's is Muffliato, as for the other two they're usefulness varies... I can't believe tomorrow, I'll have my very own wand.*"

-

The next day Ron was practicing his spells when his aunt slowly came down the stairs.

"You're awake, did you rest? Or did you spend all night thinking about your wand and couldn't sleep?"

"Good Morning, Aunt. As for your question I did sleep quite well I must add."

"I see, then come let's go today will be a long day."

Ron didn't waste anytime and Accio'd the Floo Powder before entering the extravagant chimney.

"Gregorovitch Nachlass!"

-

Getting out of Mykew's chimney Ron was surprised to see a rather long wooden box with a note attached to it sitting on a table right in front of the chimney.

"*The Wand's finished, 15" in length, carved of Cherry Wood, with a Rougarou Hair Core and Unyielding. I'm sorry I didn't handed it to you, but after hearing about your ambitions I've thought about my own and decided to find want was stolen from me many years ago... I wish you luck and remember every Wand needs a name. Mykew Gregorovitch.*"

"Incendio."

Ron set the note ablaze before reaching for the wooden box and opened it. The Wand Inside was straight for the majority of its length, it's tip sharp and it's handle was composed of two strands of Cherry Wood which were tightly interwoven.

When Ron picked up the wand, it's surface was covered in a glowing red sheen, he waved it around and quickly felt like it was draining his magic.

"Oh, looks like it's not submitting to you... What'll you do Ronald?"

Hearing his aunt's snarky comment, Ron quickly ran out the door and pointed his wand up to the sky.

"EXPULSO MAXIMUM!"

A shining blue light flashed from the wand before an ear piercing explosion erupted high above the sky.

*BOOOOOM*

As Ron was trying to control his breathing and wipe away his sweat, he felt the same draining effect so he raised his wand again.

"Wait! Let me enclose the area first... Really now, not being able to control a wand, focus Ronald.

"Yes, Aunt."

Lucretia raised her own wand and casted two spells, the first Protego Horribilis to create a protective shield and Muffliato to not let anyone hear the explosions.

"Proceed."

At this point the red sheen on Ron's wand was turning brighter and it even began to burn his palm. To try to numb his pain he clenched his jaw and raised his wand to the sky.

"EXPULSO MAXIMUM!"

"*AGAIN!*"

"EXPULSO MAXIMUM!"

"*AGAIN!*"

"*EXPULSO MAXIMUM!"

"*FUCK, YOU!*"

"AVADA..."

Lucretia who was standing off to the side has become worried when she saw blood dripping from his hand, but she didn't act. That was until she heard him start the incantation for the Killing Curse, although he wasn't aiming at anything if it was to rebound Ron would die.

"RON, DON'T!!!"

"...KEDAVRA!"

The Wand emitted a flash of blinding green light before a rushing sound was heard, as though a literal dragon soared through the air before... it disappeared.

"Ron! Ron!"

From Lucretia's point of view she saw as the blinding green light flashed before Ron fell like a marionette whose strings were cut. Fearing that she was right and the curse did rebound and killed Ron she ran towards him with tear filled eyes.

"Ron! Ron! Ron!"

When she finally got to him, she was surprised at what she saw and couldn't help but smile as the tears continued to fall from her eyes.

"I did it... I got my Wand."

Ron was laying on his back with his head turned looking at the wand in his burnt hand with a wide grin on his face.

"Your name will be... Longinus." "*The Slayer of God's.*"

-

Having named his wand his aunt healed his hand before they left back to the Villa. They ate lunch and Ron practiced with his wand for a couple of hours before they headed back to Russia.

"Get ready, you know that it's not very pleasant but just try to not hurl on my floor got it?"

"Yes, Aunt."

"*You're the one who's ill not me...*"

They both placed their hands on a small snow globe before they vanished.

*SWOO*

-

When they got back to her home, Lucretia quickly called for Brownie and vanished once again.

Ron was set to leave tomorrow, one of the next door neighbors were going to let him borrow their chimney so he could go to Moscow and then use the Portkey there to head back to Britain.

Feeling ba bit melancholic, he went to the underground training room and practiced his magic this time with his Wand.

Compared to when he casted the spell wandless, the effect and range of the spells was easily doubled. He still had some trouble with his wand, but not to the point where it bothered his casting.

-

That evening his aunt didn't come down for dinner, so he ate alone on the large dinning room.

He then went to his room and went over everything he'd learned from his five month stay with his aunt.

Around midnight Brownie knocked on his door and told him that his aunt wanted to talk to him. He obliged and quickly went to her room, only after hearing her voice telling him to enter did he do so.

When he did unlike the first time he came there was no veil and he could see her as she layed on her bed pale and sickly.

"You called for me?"

"*She looks worse compared to when we left for Germany, did the repeated trips take a heavier toll on her frail body?*"

"Yes, you're leaving tomorrow, so I wanted to talk to you before you do so. As you can see I'm dying..."

Ron's calm and almost playful expression didn't waver at her words, that was something she'd taught him, never waver.

"So, I'd like to tell you that I've written my will, and named you my sole heir. As of right now you are the heir to the Prewett Family, but that's not why I called you..."

She was right since the first day they met she'd promised to hand over ownership of the Prewett Family Vault. As for her next words they were an actual surprise to him.

"... I've also written a letter to the British Ministry of Magic to name myself your legal guardian. I received your parents consent on a few conditions, but as of today you'll be, Ronald Billus Prewett Black Weasley."

"Wait that means that-"

"You're officially a member of the Black Family, you're not the inheritor but you'll have complete access, to the Family Vault and properties. That's all I can do for you, until that brat Sirius dies of course."

That perfectly fit Ron's needs, it gave him access to their vault to fill his pockets, find all kinds of treasures and he could go grab the Horcrux from the Black Family Home.

Not knowing how to respond, Ron deeply bowed to his aunt and stayed in the position for five minutes. After which she waived him off, telling him she was tired and wanted to rest.

As Ron was walking away and the door to her room was closing, a small and low voice escaped the room.

"Take care of yourself... Son."

-

Early the next morning a tall bald man was walking by the outskirts of the community until he was stopped by a presumptuous guard. Being a bit afraid, the guard readied his Wand and pointed it at the mysterious man.

"( Stop, Who are you?)"

"Silencio..."

As the guard tried to speak he found that no sound was being produced and when he tried to counter attack the man was already right in front of him.

"Legilimens."

-

*Knock*

"( Who is it?)"

" ( Security, I'd like to talk to you about a recent sighting of a... )"

" ( A what?)"

Not being able to hear the woman unlocked her door and before she could do anything the supposed security guard barged in and pushed her to the ground.

"You laughed at me, and I hate when people laugh at me."

" ( Who are you!?)

"Silencio."

"Don't worry I'm not a bad person, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just going to make you forget... Everything. Obliviate."

-

*Knock*

" ( Who is it?)"

*( Security, I'd like to talk to you about a recent sighting of a... )"

" ( A what?)

"*Stupid, sheep...*"

September 1, 1991. King's Cross Station, London, England.

"Where is that boy! The train leaves in a hour and he's no where to be seen! And look at all these Muggles, how am I going to see him!"

Ron's mother, Molly shouted as she led Percy, Fred, George and Ginny through the station.

"Maybe he ran away-"

"To that Russian Wizarding School."

"Don't say such nonsense, ah, here we go platform Nine and three-quarters, remember one at a time."

"Mom, can't I go. . . "

"You're not old enough, Ginny, now be quiet. All right, Percy, you go first. "

Percy calmly walked through the barrier and vanished.

"Fred, you next."

"I'm not Fred, I'm George,"

"Honestly, woman, you call yourself our mother? Can't you tell I'm George?"

"Sorry, George, dear. "

"Only joking, I am Fred."

After their little joke Fred also passed through the barrier, quickly followed by George.

"Excuse me!"

As Molly and Ginny were about to enter the barrier, they were stopped by a scrawny glasses wearing boy.

-

"*Damn it! Why did I stop by Gringotts first!? At this rate I might miss the Hogwarts Express, that would be humiliating, and why do I have a weird feeling that I'm forgetting about something?*"
