14 The experiment

"Trap? Mr klent I am not getting what are you talking about".

"really don't you know about what's going to happen to Haya?".

"what's going to happen to her? Please say".

"she may die today," Mr klent said.

I am not understanding what's happening.

"Mr klent, please say clearly" I requested.

"didn't you wonder how Haya is taking a breath on this planet even though she is a human?"

I never thought about that. I didn't reply to him but stood silently.

"she is not a normal human," Mr klent said.

"what?" I surprised.

"did you remember the day when we kidnapped Haya from her village and injected her?"

"she actually survived that medicine. A human cannot survive that. We tried that on some humans after her. Some couldn't tolerate that and for some that medicine didn't suit so they died but Haya tolerated and also it suited her".

We met your dad and explained everything to him. He said he will talk to you but actually, he ignored that. So we went to him with a proposal that can bring your mother back".

"my mother....? She already died."

"yes, she died by sacrificing herself to you. She repaired your wounds with her particles. Now you recovered. We can separate those particles from you and can send back to her body".

"Is it possible? But her body was buried many years ago".

"We don't know it brings back her life or not but it separates her particles from you and send back to her. And your dad loves mother very much. So he preserved her body without knowing to anyone".

"not sure but we will try our best" Mr klent said.

" we asked her to help us to make that medicine perfectly which we are failing. We are making medicine which helps us to develop our body and faces looks like humans. We want to live on earth but because of our looks we can't. She agreed to help us. We said to her about our experiment on others and said that she is the only one who survived. She tested her own blood because of that medicine her blood was changed into the new type of blood. It is both human and alien blood. She worked hard to make that medicine and finally she invented that medicine with the help of her blood samples. Now we can become into humans. We are going to hand over our machine to you in exchange for Haya's blood. I am sorry Aeryn ".

" do my dad knows that there's a danger to Haya's life? " I asked.

I fell down. Did my dad betray me? There is a way for my mother's return but in exchange, I should lose Haya? No! How is it possible? My mother died. It's impossible to bring back a dead person in to alive. I don't know what's going on. But first of all, I should stop Haya. I left that place without saying anything to Mr klent.

I went to the lab for Haya.

"Haya" I shouted.

"wait, I have more works to finish. By the way, why are you here now? I said that I will call you" Haya said.

"Aeryn? What are you doing here?" my dad arrived and asked in hesitation.

"why? What happened? What's wrong if I am here?" I said to my dad rudely.

"Haya, you cheated on me. You said you will live with me forever. Now you took a decision without thinking about me. Haya I....." I couldn't able to speak. My voice stuck. My heart became heavy.

"What?... Nothing gonna happen to you? Do you think I am a fool? So you can live without blood right? Nonsense. Stop this" I yelled at her.

I don't know what to say. I can't even decide whether her idea is correct or not. My mother already died. We are not sure that the device brings her back or not. Now I only have Haya alive. I don't want to lose her.
