17 Robin Winter

I could see my own breath but I knew it wasn't really there.

I shivered.

"Colder than you remember now?" Alam said as we walked through the snowy land of Griseo Mundi.

I remained silent.

"So, I am guessing you don't want to go in the waterfall" he grinned with a chuckle.

I shot him a glare.

"Not funny."

He looked at me with different emotions in his light blue eyes.

Happiness, sadness, longing, joy, and pain.

I wonder.

Did he love me at some point.

I chuckled aloud.

"Griseo Mundi hasn't changed at all."

Alam tilted his head so that his white hair slowly dropped to the snowy floor of the woods.

"Everything is the same..... the distant islands, the cold weather, the waterfall...even you" I said flicking Alam's head as I stood on the tips of my toes.

"So I'm still handsome?" He said crossing his arms like a child.

"Well, types don't change" I said laying down on the floor to make a snow angel.

Alam joined me.

I had agreed to go here because it was what I can to do.

I had come to get rid of my trauma and seal off the dead.

It's cold.

I know it really isn't cold.

I just feel cold because of the illusions of ice.

"I figured it out" I said as I stood up and dusted snow off my red jacket.

"Figured what out?"

"I figured out that this place nor you are really real...... it's a dream... isn't it?"

Alam stood for a minute before nodding his head.

"This place," He started, "is a place made for people of wish to die... it separates the mind from the body for a period of time in order to help the mental state."

I hummed.

"It did help me."

Alam smiled a toothy smile.

"I'm glad."

We stood there for a moment.

Staring into each others eyes.

It had been a long time since we last saw each-other but it felt like only a few minutes.

"So do you have a lover?" Alam asked out of the blue.

"Huh?!" I screeched.

Alam covered his ears in defense.

"What kind of a question is that!" I said as I hid my blushing face by throwing a snowball at Alam.

He dodged it.

"Just wondering......" Alam trailed off.

"Well..... I don't" I lied.

Alam's face lit up and he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me towards him.

Hopefully he couldn't read minds.

I stood still for a minute before he kissed me.

Unlike Jung, Alam's lips where cold.

No, they where cool.

His lips where cool but his mouth was warm.

Me tasted minty, fresh, just like the winter woods we stood in.

It seemed like an infinity until he pulled away.

Oh no, I got my lipstick all over his mouth.

I blushed as I turned slowly into a tomato's realizing all the dirty thoughts that had piled into my mind of Alam.

"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that" he giggled almost as if he where a kid.

I laughed an embarrassed laugh.

"You should probably go" he said after a moment slipped by.

I looked at him sorrowfully.

He smiled back at me.

"Well, Okay."

I guess that as it.

My journey back here ended like that, a kiss, a goodbye.
