1 Chapter 1
(NOCTURNAL)
The day of their newborn child's birth ceremony, King Ranoul and Queen Lyra are in their bedchamber. Now sitting on the large bed which is properly made for the king and queen.
" Ranoul, what do we do now that our son is born. I know by now news has reached the Zeons that their doom is born." The queen who is on the far end of the bed sitting next to the king, starts talking facing the king now looking worried.
The light skinned, green eyes,dark haired baby boy is supposed to be in the nursery well guarded but the queen insisted that he the baby is brought to their room for fear of him being kidnapped. The cradle bed of the boy is next to their large bed.
The king is silent and does not answer the queen's question. She(Lyra) stands up and walks to where her son is sleeping peacefully. She sits by the side of the bed far away from where her husband is. The king also stands up but he goes to the balcony siding the bed but a bit far away. He goes there look at the castle, in the night. It looks so peaceful with everyone going about celebrating the birth of the prophesized hero of the eight realms.
Kings thoughts: they don't know what is coming. Destruction lies ahead.
Just then the King's eyes moves to the castle gates. There he notices a tall, hairy (fair), elfish figures with their tails (they were two of them) with their tails strangling the guards assigned there one by one. All of a sudden more of them start to come in.
Kings thoughts: the Zeons, they are here.
He rushes back inside the room, closes the balcony door quickly. The queen's to look at him alarmed.
"What is wrong Ranoul?" She asks him worried for her son.
He says nothing, he just walks straight to the cupboard that is facing their bed, he opens it and in it he brings out a cloak, an invisibility cloak with a hood. He walks to his wife who is holding the boy, cast a spell on the boy that will keep him asleep through out the night until the next morning.
" I need you to wear this and get out of here with the boy, do not look back or think about what will happen to me just keep going" Ranoul says handing the cloak to Lyra.
" They are here isn't it? The Zeons are really here for my Rim" she collects the cloak crying
"There is no time for this woman. You need to move fast"
"Where do I go?, Where do I take the boy?." The queen asks as she wears the cloak, making her invincible leaving only her next and head. She carries the baby and puts him inside his carrier lifts it up and covers him with the cloak.
" There is a farm outside Rojam East of the castle my friend Manoul owns it. Take him there and give this letter to Manoul" he says putting the letter inside the baby's carrier. The king helps her put on the hood, now the queen is fully invisible.
Just then the sound of the intruders breaking in is now heard, because the Zeons are breaking in to the room.
"Immediately the door opens Lyra, run fast before they sense your presence(he says to the invisible queen).... Here we go" he says as the door is broken down and the Zeons comes in. Lyra is long gone.
