Rogue Mancer: A litRPG Fantasy Adventure

Prophecy holds that he will overthrow tyranny and bring peace to the Spire, but first he has to earn a name. Faced with imminent death due to an incurable disease REDACTED has his consciousness uploaded into an afterlife game called Havenspire, run by an all-powerful AI known as the Didact. Expecting to emerge into sun-kissed meadows, surrounded by flittering sprites and scantily clad maidens, the unnamed is instead delivered into the hands of vicious slavers and sent to die a second death in the blood pits. As the sword blow falls, the unnamed is thrown a lifeline, a single ward rune through which he survives certain death and begins a new life as a fledgling sorcerer. Rogue Mancer is a LitRPG fantasy adventure rooted in epic fantasy and showcasing classic game mechanics, level progress, skill acquisition and enhancement, guilds, PVP fighting, quests, and boss fights. Set in an afterlife simulator governed by a deranged AI, the book follows a young man’s desperate struggle to survive and prosper in a brutal fantasy world as he gathers companions, gains rank, and discovers an innate gift with bloodmancy that may just give him the edge he needs to succeed. First though, he needs to earn a name.
