7 Next Morning
"AHHHHH!"
Alex's eyes snapped open, he quickly got up into a sitting position, his forehead was sweaty and he was short of breath.
He hissed loudly from the pain, his hand moved towards his neck instinctively.
But, there was nothing there!
Even so, he had already started hyperventilating.
"W-What just happened? The last thing I remember was…" His eyes widened remembering the man-size wolves, "dying…" He muttered while looking at his hand.
*BAM*
His room's doors were forcefully opened as a girl with pink hair rushed in.
"Alex, What happened!?" She quickly looked around for enemies.
Alex looked at her, then remembered…
"Right… I am in DxD…" His eyes hardened, he remembered what kind of world he was living in now, and that he had no choice but to go back to 'that' dungeon if he wanted to get stronger.
He moved the blanket away and was about to get up from his bed, before he ended up collapsing onto the ground.
Julis quickly rushed to his side, but then saw the scars on his legs as she gasped from shock.
"W-What happened to you?" The pink head asked with concern.
She then looked at him even more closely, and then she noticed even more scars on his neck!
"What happened? those were not here yesterday!" The princess pointed out the neck scars.
With how visibly large the bite marks were, she would have definitely noticed them yesterday!
Alex moved his hand to his neck, he brushed his fingers through the skin, a phantom pain washed over, remembering the man-size wolves that lunged at him...
"My power to gather more tickets… is a dungeon…I got transported there when I went to sleep." He said while slowly getting up from the floor.
Julis's eyes widened, a dungeon?
"W-What did you face? To get those kinds of scars…" She wanted to finish the sentence but she couldn't…
"Man sized wolves killed me there."
The princess' mouth got dry as she heard that.
"T-Then…" She wanted to ask how he was even alive in the first place? And why does someone who does not have any powers, apart from his falna, have to fight monsters of that size?
"I want to know, too." He said that with a bitter smile.
Julis nodded, allowing Alex to pass through her, he started walking towards the bathroom.
He was deep in thought, the whole dying thing has quite shook him.
'It was like Dark Souls and…' His eyes widened in realisation, 'Monster Hunter?'
'Yeah… and it's only the beginning!' Alex frowned thinking about just how much more dangerous it was going to get.
He needs to adapt… to become a hunter in that place, otherwise he will be dead again!
His mind was already wandering at fast speeds, especially about the weapon he used, a sword… they are overrated, and it has cost him his life…
Unless, of course, he gets a magical sword, or magic which could increase the sharpness of the blade.
Otherwise, he is switching to a mace, they are better for breaking bones.
Eventually, he ended up in the bathroom, he stood there looking at himself in the mirror, he could see some large bite marks around his neck area.
In the front, and at the back.
They were very visible, not even the lions or tigers of this world had teeth that size… That means he is going to need to start wearing clothes with high collars to hide them... for now…
Alex decided to stop worrying about it and, instead, focus on the day at hand, he is meeting the devils today; Sona's Peerage and maybe even some members of Rias' peerage.
He doubts that he could hide his magical signature from them, he had no idea how to use magic in the first place…
Or does he? In a sense, the 'Power Of Falna' already gave him hints on how to channel magic.
'Maybe I could find out how to use some basic self-casting spells? Like reinforcement, or sharpening a blade?'
And so, he was thinking the entire time he was in the shower.
Once he was done, he returned to his room and went to his wardrobe to look for clothes that could hide his neck scars.
Eventually, he found a black shirt that fits his description.
'Right, but first I should upgrade my stats…' He focused on his falna and followed the instruction he received from the card.
Only this time, instead of just allowing it to do its thing, he focused on the feeling.
He could feel some sort of energy flowing around his falna.
'Hmm, so that should be magic,' He could see the bright light on his back glowing before settling down.
Alex got himself a piece of paper and used it to show his stats.

When Alex saw his stats he was quite… disappointed, to say the least. Reading it over again, he was surprised that he even got an improvement in the magic category
He only used the Falna... twice? So, he got a point per casting?
'If I continue like this, I will become a sorcerer in a millennia or two!' He sarcastically thought.
After checking his stats, he dressed up in the Kuoh academy uniform and walked into the kitchen.
The first thing he noticed was his 'waifu' making breakfast, which is quite the surreal thing, seeing an anime character alive and in his kitchen making breakfast.
It's going to take some time to get used to…
'At least that's something positive from all this crazy madness which my life has turned into.' He sighed internally, he enjoyed looking at very serious Julis who was making sandwiches for their breakfast.
Eventually though, she noticed him.
"Oh, you're done with your shower, are you okay?" She spoke with concern.
"Yes, I am fine, sorry for hogging the shower without asking." Alex apologised, but Julis quickly shook her head.
"It's fine, don't worry, you needed it more than I did anyway." She said while looking back at the sandwiches.
Julis wanted to say 'she knows that feeling too', but her death paled in comparison to his, and she is simply unable to say it.
"Do you need any help?" He asked curiously.
"No! You made dinner yesterday! Now it's my turn!" She seriously stated, and the girl wasn't going to take 'no' for an answer!
After experiencing his food yesterday, Julis felt like she had been slapped in the face! Her woman pride has been stomped down on.
That's why she wanted to show that she knew how to make food as well and not appear as some useless princess!
And so she is going to make the best sandwiches possible!
Alex quickly raised his hands, seeing how serious she was.
"Very well, I will be watching TV, then."
She quickly nodded, seeing that Alex has given up, the princess likes the fact that he can read the atmosphere.
"Oh, by the way… the school uniform looks nice on you," Alex mentioned with a sly smile.
He likes how the school uniform reveals all those nice and long legs.
Julis' eyes widened for a second as she instinctively tried to hide her legs with her short skirt.
"Stupid, perverted devils!" The pink-head sputtered with a blush, she was burning with embarrassment, she should have expected that the uniform they have there would be perverted to some degree!
While Julis was doing her thing in the kitchen, Alex went over to the living room and turned on the TV.
The first thing he saw was a Japanese morning show on the Tokyo TV channel, his lips twitched at what he saw.
It was some sort of tasting show, and the commentator was going over the top to explain things…
Doing all those exaggerated noises as well.
"...I miss the Simpsons…" Alex said with a devastated sigh, he just died last night! Can't he enjoy his mornings properly!?
He quickly went through some channels, but there were no anime, so he decided to settle on some news channel.
Though, he quickly lost interest in it and pulled out his phone.
His eyes slightly narrowed when he saw that there were two notifications on the lottery app.
For a second, his finger went over to the app and waited before pressing on it.
One second later, the app started, the whole screen turned black, and the five options appeared.
Alex immediately saw the newest option which was, 'The Dungeon'. His eyes narrowed.
The first dive was still very fresh on his mind.
He pressed on the new options.
And he saw two new options, 'Dungeon Selection' and 'Dungeon Settings'
For now, he decided to see what dungeon options he had.
Turns out, he only had one… to be perfectly honest, he would have been more shocked if there was an actual choice.
'Northern Forest…more like ancient forest! Neither the trees nor the beast there are normal!' Alex inwardly groaned reading the name of the dungeon.
After checking the 'Dungeon Selection', he returned to the previous menu, it was 'Dungeon Settings'
'Well, this is much better…'
Alex was surprised at what he saw there.
Auto loot [ON] [OFF]
Phone in Dungeon [ON] [OFF]
Transfer gear from Dungeon to Real World [ON] [OFF]
Mini HUD [ON] [OFF]
He quickly selected 'ON' for all of them. He has no idea how his phone, or the Mini HUD will be able to help him, but any help in that place will be appreciated.
Once he was done, he returned to the main menu, he saw that the first option, the lottery wheel, was blinking.
'Hmm, I have a ticket? Don't remember killing anyone in that dungeon…' He curiously frowned for a second before pressing on the lottery wheel option.

Alex's eyebrow twitched as he read this… As expected, the R.O.B was watching over him, and his death was like an achievement, or trophy, in a video game.
Still, he got something from… his death.
After somewhat calming down, Alex inspected what was on the wheel.
Unlike his previous three spins, this spin was unique.
For one, it didn't have a singular colour, he could see white, green, blue, purple, and gold.
He knew that purple means Epic and gold means Legendary.
That means blue, green and white are the lower ranks.
'Yeah, white is complete rubbish… I get a box of potato chips for my death? Like hell!' He was seriously pissed when he read it!
But, he quickly forgot about that as he read the other ones.
What he quickly noticed was that all of the powers, power ups, or items that he sees are all from DxD!
The Legendary one would give him a Longinus Gear and the Epic one would give him a High-Grade Gear, or another spin for Devil magic.
There were only 1 Legendary and 2 Epic rewards, but there were 8 for blue and 32 for greens! And the rest of them were for whites… the white ones had the majority of rubbish things, but some items were… okay… one of them was a Desert Eagle… or even an AK 47…
'Hmm, a ticket for world travel? Why is it in the white category?' Alex was slightly confused when he saw that the rubbish category had a ticket for world travelling!
'Right, let's get this over with…'
He pressed the spin button and the lottery wheel started to spin, Alex tried to control himself and not look too excited.
But, it is quite hard because, for one, he needed some sort of edge in 'The Dungeon'.
And, he might get a sacred gear…
Eventually, the wheel stopped in the blue category.
It was a picture of lightning…

"Damn… that's not bad! I am the Biri Biri of DxD now?" Alex said with a smile, his mood just went up by several levels!
