8 Chapter 8

After asking around some people Parker was able to find Martial library and now standing in front of it the martial library was in the shape of a tower with seven floors and sitting in front of it there was an old man reading a book putting his feet on the table in front of him Parker walked carefully towards the old man and greeting respectfully " elder I am a new worker and I am here to report for the cleaning and organizing the library work and this is the official paper"

The old man took the paper and then asked Parker "why did you pick this job offer?" without losing he's respectful tone parker answered "from the all the jobs available this is the most fitting job for me it's not dangerous and has a good pay and also it will allow me to read lots of books which will help me get more knowledge about the world and help me further in my cultivation journey "

That was surprise apparent on the old Man as he wasn't expecting such an answer but he added another question to Parker as he ask him "you know that you are not allowed to read skill books you are allowed to read only those in general knowledge and that only on your spare time"

Parker said " i know elder ad that is why i said knowledge about the world not about skills as i think that knowing the state of the world, the medicinal plants the beast characteristics are as helpful as powerful skills" looking at parker the old man laughed lightly saying "you can go inside interesting young man i am looking forward to your future all jokes aside you are responsible for cleaning the first floor and organizing its books as disciples have the tendency to misplace them after they finish reading"
