2 2. A week ago (Boss Winston)

All around me were turned upside down. The woman I married had to be so stupid and actually believed the rumours. Even after i already explained to her that it wasn't that case. That Ms. Shaskia is a very important person in the company. Her replied was, "what so important being an assistant? You are just covering it up,dear!!!" She was already half crazed, but i was so confident that she'll keep her wits and dignity not to storm and humiliate 'her'. Boy was i wrong.. i was never one to make a good decision and planning my moves.

All this time, it was Shaskia who had made the call. She provide me a throne, a spectacular one and i just have to sit on that chair and act like one. I am her mask, and i was more than grateful that she had chosen me to rise up to that position. I still remembered the drunkard i was. Sitting onthe bench, drinking a beer. Disheveled, no money and no longer have will to go on.my debt was pilling up. Mary had left me with the kids, saying that they were too good for him. I wouldn't blame her, since i always come home late, drunk and getting angry at them for small reasons.

It was then i saw a familiar figure of seventeen years girl.

I know her. I came from a small town as her and I've known her uncle. I still remembered that his friend grudgingly acknowledged how scary and genius the girl is, during one if their late night drinking meeting. she refused to paved her way to glory and gain fame, which made them-their family-frustrated with her. A hope begin to flare inside his heart but it was soon dissipate, like a candle light blown by the wind.

'What the heck am i thinking? She's just a teenage girl. What can she do to change my life?'

While i was so lost in thoughts, i didn't realise that she was already standing in front of me.

"Uncle Winston. Long time no see. You look horrible." How could i forget that this girl always know what to say that could pissed people off, he thought drily.

"Yeah. Debt and all. My wife and kids left me-and my business failed.. you know, being adult" I laughed.

"Ugh. You stink with beers. Come on now, up you go. Let's grab some lunch, my treats" though she had a pretty sharp tongue, she was never left with compassion. Which makes people to respect her. She really did treat me to a lunch and listen to my problems.

"How much money do you have, uncle Winston?"

I just shrugged. "Enough to pay half of my debt"

"Good. I have a proposition for you" and starting there, we start from the scratch. Her guiding me step by step. Handling all the marketing. Pulling some decisions, extraordinarily shoot up my company up in 2 years. She said she could make it less than that but it wouldnt be good for the company in a long term. We had to build a good foundation of trust with our client, only then we can build a bigger empire. And empire did she give. I asked for Mary to come back and get them back thanks to her. My debt was cleared and soon money came flooding into my account non-stop. That changed me instantly. I completely forgot how i had risen to that glory, and starts to see everyone as small as ants. It wasn't until Ms Shaskia looking at me with her devilish smile that i finally slapped into reality. I slammed my fist on the table.

Why am i only noticing this now? When its already too late? I couldn't find Ms Shaskia. Her apartment was cleared and put on sale.

His wife entered the living room and sniffed snobbishly. Its seems i am not the only one who had their head filled with glory and status. Everyone in his family was lulled sweetly into the money trap. Vain family.

"You still can't get over with that bitch?"

I sighed weakly. I guess i have nothing to lose now since everything will be turn to ash later.

"My dear, i have love you and our kids deeply. But still, you didn't trust me. Maybe it was my own shortcoming but for what you did two days ago, we will be doomed."

His wife,Mary laughed out loud.

"What could that measly woman could do? We are filthy rich! Everyone bow before us. She want to sue me? I want to see her try and lose!"

He brush his face with both of his palms.

"That's the thing, she own almost half of the company shares"

"WHAT???!!! Husband, did she seduce you to stupidity?! Why did you give it to her?!!!" She screamed.

Anger boil in my blood and i stood. She step back and look at me with surprised.

"Don't you get it??!!! She was the one who build the company! She was the boss behind the scene. The real mastermind. I was just a puppet for her to sit in that position cuz she took pity on me eight years ago. When my business failed, my debt pilling, and you left me she help me make that business into what it is now. do you even think a woman of her caliber would even look at me twice? Would sleep with me?" He shuddered. That woman is indeed beautiful,seductive, cunning and genius.that is exactly why is she dangerous to be messed with. He had witnessed a lot of companies brought to ruin, just because they say the wrong thing. She is merciless at best and downright scary.

"That big S company, that had a long standing history in business got easily crushed by her just because they look down on the company. It took her two days, to bring down 35years old company. Now, will you shut up? If she still think that i am her Uncle's friend, worse come to worse maybe we'll have some saving left in our account to live a decent life."

He didn't notice his wife face gone pale. Her fingers close her lips in shocked.

He laughed drily thinking about those stupid bunch of employees that had started these rumours.

"While nothing could be said the same to those jealous bunch of minions. They'll wish they never ever cross her path."
